Pfft, please, back when this game started, it was probably 1k for 100 CE. (i have no idea if this is true or not) and the second someone asked for a pennycrown more, the first CE rage thread was born.
Thus creating the domino effect, the more you rage, the more you pay.

Actually, it used to be a lot higher... 20k for 100 CE during beta if I remember right. Which was long before the game officially started. Any beta players want to confirm?
Lowest I've ever seen CE was 3500, for all of 5 minutes when Punch was first introduced.

I'm not a beta player but i've heard from Dirt that the cause of 20k cr/100ce was an all-arena gate.
It's rather sad to see iron and demo wasting their time thinking their snarky pictures matter on my topics. You two can come back when you stop this hostility towards someone who has been merely expressing their opinion.

But no, really. It's terrible to say the least, considering you're providing no factual basis for your opinion, and on top of that, are helping to push everyone away from constructive discussion by saying "SHUT UP AND BUY MORE CE." You're disregarding their opinion, why shouldn't we do the same to yours?
On top of that, the only thing you mentioned in your OP that was reminiscent of an actual theory was a domino effect, and you applied that wrong as well. Domino effects are chain reactions, a series of of cause and effect that expands beyond the basic principle of "if/then", which in your case falls under the "if you rage more, then you will pay more" statement. A domino effect would be more applicable if you said something along the lines of crowns being easier to obtain in missions, which leads to an increase in CE prices, which in turn causes players to become concerned, which in turn caused threads like this to appear. And even then it's a pretty loose application.
So, yeah, worthless opinion.

Okay, I say some opinions lack value ("Not all opinions and ideas have value."). You say that I'm wrong ("nobodies opinion is worthless"), and then follow up by saying that I'm right ("given that its not immoral or insane"). I bought my first 500 CE for about 1,100 each, on April 1st. So yes, CE prices were that low once.
The first (obvious) CE rage thread was a little over a week later, on the 10th. If I had to guess I would say it was because CE went over 2,500 per 100.

Yes, I do remember when Ce was rather Inexpensive., And with the introduction of other game elements, Ce peaked at almost Over 8K Per 100.
What are the main causes of such High CE Prices?
With that said, How can you justify, That you need to make CE PRICES HIGHER?
Honestly, I have asked a Game master or two about such ridiculous CE prices, Which they do mention ,That they have no control over it whatsoever,
But, They do benefit from it BIG TIME.
So~ Before you cut me to the quick, Consider this idea-
Maybe OOO/ SEGA can use a new system, where you also use Your prestige Points to attain CE at a much lower rate.
This would be motivation for players to keep playing & grinding The levels, Then if you do not have the required prestige, Then you pay Market Value.

You basically have it totally wrong. In fact, if you were any wronger, you would be Damienfoxy. Let's have a look at these reasons of yours:
"Greed"--A nonsensical concept in SK. The point of the game is to make more money and accumulate more gear.
"Featured Auctions"--Bring CE costs down by 1) draining crowns from the economy and 2) giving players one more incentive to sell CE for crowns. The opposite of what you're suggesting.
"Dungeon Payouts are low"--The lower payouts are, the lower the CE cost will be. Again, the opposite of what you're suggesting.
