for those who don't know, Bechamel is a vendor/accessorizer in the Bazaar behind Brinks and Kozma.

this is a discussions to figure out if Bechamel is a guy, girl or a robot (my GuildMaster is one ;D)

reason why im asking is because Bech looks like a girl (to me) yet in Mission Rank 4-1 Lets Go Shopping Again! in the description below it says, "time to pay HIM another visit" O.O tht was Spiral Knight blowing my mind!
i really dont care what Bech is but i just want this cleared.

when writing your comments below, please but the gender YOU think Bechamel is (girl, boy, or man eating robot!) as the topic and in the comment it self Why you think so

p.s. it would be nice to hear it from the horse's mouth. /wink

Bechamel is a guy and if he's "gender-confused" I don't see any problem with that.

And if it already says in-game that Bechamel is a guy, why do you want more confirmation?

At first glance I thought Bechamel was female, but looking back I know a dude with hair like that, and he's normal, so I'd say that it's just a case of low polygon-count being confusing.

Bechamel isn't gender-confused, he just thinks flowers and ribbons are fashionable. He even had to change his colour to red because you guys weren't fully sure about his gender.

The dialog confirms that Bechamel identifies as a male and prefers the "he" pronoun.

However this is by no means an indicator that this is exactly what's between his legs as well.

Not that we'll ever find out though.

We are all gender-neutral robots. There is no male or female option when you create a knight. You choose. It's your gear that sort of makes it look as if you were one or the other.

Bechamel just put on whatever looking accessories he felt like, and decided he was a guy. He could very much decide he wasn't a guy the next day. Then decide the day after that that he is a guy again.

We are gender-neutral robots, and there is a reason we do not have male / female options. You just choose yourself. Trust me, there are male players that wear angelic etc. as a costume.
