Beside the unfortunate intangible one-digit losses, they won hundreds over matches fielding close to everyone in the guild and that is close to 30 over different members since Lockdown started, establishing the highest 3 digits winning streak record. In my opinion, it is much easy to win with just your best 5-7 players. The rest of the guilds are good but not even close to this acclaimed guild's prestigious history. Credits goes to Dredio and his team.

Impervious is really good, but I'm not sure if they deserve #1 on your list.
The Jempire is good, but they do have a lot of UV'ed weapons.
I don't really care if they CE revive, if they want to spend their CE that way it's fine.
But yeah, Apathy is probably the best. They might have UV's, but I don't think they'd lose even if the UV's were removed from their weapons.
Also, Knightmare is always a force to be wary of, along with a lot of other names, like Grundel Warriors, Order of Venus, etc.

I would say Knightmare. The individual talent in the guild is pretty strong in itself. We rarely GvG as of lately, though.
Grundel is very coordinated, and Jempire has great swarming ability.

I'm not sure if that's an ordered list but I am both shocked and quite flattered to see Impervious as part of it. The main reason is because we only really play guild LD for fun so we can play together as a group where anyone who want to participate can join no matter their skill level. As a result, our team really varies as its always different, so important factors such as coordination and building a strategy is a bit more difficult and other times, we are simply outmatched. Either way, I do think we have some amazing LD players in Impervious so thanks for including us :P but due to time differences and timing in general, we've never really had our A team get together, otherwise I think we could definitely put up a good fight against any guild >:)

Lockdown Teams 101
It's hard to determine a "top 3", "top 5" best LD guilds or what not, but below is a glimpse of SK's most well-known LD guild teams:
Grundel Warriors - Very solid team even before they merged with (now defunct) Sativa and was one of the first teams to beat Finesse back in the day. (Notable players: Opod, Snrub, Spamisalreadyinuse, Itth)
Apathy - The new Finesse, still has some of the original elite Finesse crew, but with fresh new elite players. (Notable players: Dredio, Exileddread, Jaroche, Saidxp, Erythrocyte, Entropize, Golza, Roarj)
Lockdown Aces - Dominant LD guild for Tier 2, no other group of duskers could own as much as they do. (Notable players: Rdzknightz, Arrovx, Doomrunner)
Order of Venus - An explosion waiting to happen, they lay low and play a little less gvg lately but has a top-notch and formidable A-team roster waiting to explode on any who dares face them. (Notable Players: Ezho, Freezingflame, Rhipdlvi, Nexzon, Emotionless, Jcasdfwer, Skybrandon, Craftyzen)
Reign of Chaos - With a couple awesome guards, they impeccably put the guardian/striker build to good use. Namewithnumbers has pioneered the AP+ Barb technique and has since spawned a small following. (Notable players: Meida, Namewithnumbers, Eldibs, Thengel, Peepa, Max-Killa)
Wolfpack Party - Unlike other LD teams, they dont focus much on being competitive but have a good roster of LD players nonetheless. (Notable players: Nardcore, Sushh, Redliaw, Bobxloblaw, Rockket, Citizen-Curious)
The Jempire - Has a good, diverse LD team and are tough to beat when their captain is on the gvg team. Their quick, frequent revives allows them to re-enter the battlefield and lay waste to unsuspecting victims. (Notable players: Rubyeclipse, Ellip, Waur, Baconstrip, Kennyn, Edzel)
Beware - Rather new to the gvg scene, this team is composed of the best Old School LD talents as well as some new faces. (Notable players: Darkcub, Kyored, Andersherz, Tpmuser)
Impervious - Highly skilled in adapting to multiple situations, they dont always go with the popular All-Striker teams you often see in gvg. It is sometimes speculated that Sciaz alone counts as 2 strikers lol. (Notable players: Sciaz, Swarleysparkles, Fodow, Produkt, Yfke, Plinked)
Knightmare - One of the top LD teams in its prime, this team is known for their aggresive play-style. (Notable players: Chris, Kennys-Knight, Timbalero, Tom-Awsm, Snarkey, Ailment)

now I hate to toot my own guilds horn, but I honestly think the top 3 in this game would have to be Apathy, Knightmare, and Reign of Chaos. In an honorable mention I would have to mention impervious, and beware. When we do get an A team together it's a tough team to beat

I'm shocked I'm on the Reign
I'm shocked I'm on the Reign of Chaos "notable players" list for LD. I'm worthless in GvG if I'm not playing Guardian, though I did finally finish my appropriate Striker gear, and have been practicing with it in Randoms. Max-Killa should be on that list in my place. Just sayin'.
Also, Grundel Warriors is definitely at least trying to move up, if they're not already up there. I sold them numerous UV's over the past couple days that I hope they are putting to good use, and it's always a fun match against them.

Was it not the case that a sizable proportion of finesse members quitting due to boredom of dominating in both PvE and PvP? My question will be has anyone face the actual A team from Finesse, now Apathy, and beat them? Or is it a case of 6 random members in that guild are capable of beating the A-team elites of every guild? I heard this was the case back before Finesse went inactive.

I'm both shock and flattered that I made the list for Jempire. There's a first for everything I guess. XD I think that Jempire gets a bad rap because of bad rumors but I won't debated about whether or not they are true but I will say that I don't ce rez(at all! it's all mist) and that my uv are not good(inspect me next time if you doubt it). I am in the process of getting better gear however though it might take a while for that to happen(no money, there's a surprise huh?)
Anyways my best lockdown list would be(in no particular order):

All of the original Finesse GMs quit and so Dredio branched off and created Apathy with Exileddread, Hadn, Jaroche, Golza, and Stompt. Many of Finesse's LD greats.

@ Darkcub: We fought with Beware a total of 4 times this afternoon, and are surprised you guys only showed half of the score reports. All 4 times we played, Beware had the exact same team of awesome players.

This is all based off of the games I've played (Only havn't played Apathy in GvG, but seen them in randoms), and based off "A-Teams".
I'd throw The Jempire in there, but every match we played against your guys A-Team, once we killed one of you guys, was an energy revive every single time. The above guilds can win without Energy Revives. Not that you guys can't, but the above guilds, from what I've seen against us, have never-few energy revives.
Nice work to everyone, look forwards to playing some more GvG against you guys.

As I said, until a guild is capable of hitting 100+ winning streaks with proofs of using over 30+ members instead of just their best 6, this discussion is moot. We all know who's that team. Also, a video to boot that against the other elite teams, they don't have to CE res notoriously . Better if this was filmed from the perspective of from someone who was infamous for this. All good players are capable of excelling in interchangable competitive games without throwing money to the screen. This is why no self-respecting gamers take Lockdown that seriously, to the extent it is a win at all (monetary) costs competition for them.

The Truth about Jempire
Firstly:
Not to start a flame war but people in The Jempire don't have amazing uvs, yes some of us do have good uvs, though if you inspect us all you would notice we don't. We just practice and know how to shield cancel and all that stuff.
Secondly:
If you watched from our perspective during lockdown you would see that we don't CE rev like everyone says it's just a rumour, yes we do CE rev sometimes but not crazy like everyone thinks we do, we only CE rev when the counter is say maybe 20 seconds.
Thirdly:
We have skill like all the other guilds that have been mentioned, we play a lot of lockdown to practice and we have built a solid team.

I'm sure all of those guilds have beat Beware the same, or more in the games they've played Beware. Darkcub took pictures of impervious losing to them, and failed to realise and mention our best players left, with the remaining lagging.

If Apathy is actually Finesse
If Apathy is actually Finesse reskinned, I'm not very impressed with the GM yet.
I would think Apathy (Finesse) is top since I heard that they only ever lost 2 GVG matches, and both were when a player disconnected.
