I don't think Apathy is Finesse "reskinned". They have different members, different leaders, a different recruiting system, etc. The only thing in common would be some of the players from Finesse that joined Apathy.
But about your disapproval of Apathy, you sort of have nothing to back it up especially with it in the midst of all the posts that have Apathy in their listing of best Lockdown guilds, lol. Maybe you could also post why you're disappointed and maybe they'll see what they can do, yeah?

I'm not calling out your guild, I'm talking about Dreido. I'm sure he's an awesome guy, and that is important for a guild leader, but when I compare him to the other members...there is just too large of a difference. Finesse seems like a LD guild, so the strength of the guild master must matter.
The reason I joined Knightmare in the first place was because of the strength of our guild master. Only later did I find out that Knightmare was actually pretty chill. Come to think of it, I don't think we're even a LD guild anymore.
edit: If Dredio is not your active GM then disregard everything. I'm just letting you guys know that it's bad for prospective members to see your GM get beat.

-Tennis isn't in Apathy
As for all the hype about Apathy, yes, we do have a strong team. However, we're not trying to set any standards like Finesse did. You're going to see Apathy lose some and that's totally fine.

I think Apathy is just more
I think Apathy is just more lax than Finesse, based on those I have talked to from Finesse. However, when Dredio hand picks our team instead of us throwing a random one together and not caring, I should guess we will go undefeated, as we have thus far with our "A-team." And Neodasus, what is all this about Dredio not being up to par? Just wait til he actually plays once and you'll see.

Personally, every time I've seen Dredio play, he's done an excellent job of it. Also personally, I'd rather lose to Dredio than win against Chris, because at least if my guild loses to Dredio, he'll give us the whole "gg, you guys are good sports facing us" treatment, whereas when we beat Chris, it's always "you guys CE rezzed/ganged up on us with your pros/whatever excuse he feels like stating."

My guild isnt exactly a pvp guild but can hold itself well in gvg. Impervious and Beware seems to be really tough to beat, but are beatable with with the perfect combo of classes. From what I see, the guilds that seem legitimately impossible to beat no matter what we try are Reign of Chaos, Order of Venus, and Grundel Warriors. Almost all Jempire lockdown players have the best unique variants for Lockdown, have quite a handful of CE and arent afraid to use them in the matches they play in, so the Jempire in my opinion would be the best equipped, but not necessarily the most skilled. I doubt we have played Apathy yet, but from what I have seen in that guild's individual members playing random Lockdown, i think it is safe to say they would crush any and all who oppose them.

Ridiculous. Strength of the guild master? Are you mistaken or something? The same guy you respect so much claims he was in Halo MLG pro-circuit, he got called out and he can't backed it. For Spiral Knight history, he is not even remotely close to the fastest speed runners, the best solo player for USFC, constructing a proper teamplay for both pve/pvp or leading Knightmare to be the best in lockdown. Reputation for beating up new players in random games is all that he had done.
Have you even played a proper competitive game? If you don't cut it in this casual Spiral Knight in a 6v6 team format, which Chris doesn't considering how utterly doormat Knightmare has been since FSC/Lockdown, what makes you think you will be able to stand on the international stage for another game with more exposure, thriving community and genuinely skill based competition.
