i temporarily quit this game for like five months. I started to play this game a few weeks ago. But there is something I have to ask the community... Which is better CIv or Levi? I heard that Levi has very small dmg difference when upgraded from a acended (which I have right now but it's not too late.). I wanted to get CIV but people say the undead high is worse than Levi. I will be doing FSC a lot in the future after getting one of these.

I want a detailed opinion not just saying "Levi for solo, CIV if in a party" I want pros and cons.

1. The undead bonus dissapears if you max damage with armors and/or trinkets (skolver set)

2.Levi annoying knocback can be neglected with proper coordination - circle around the enemy and hit from a safe angle

3.Levi has around 20 points of extra damage vs everything, but at most 30 less vs undeads - is that a good trade-off on civ?

4.If you hate undeads that much, get a brandish

5.Levi recipes are free by doing missions -this is the only point that changed a little, still in favor of Leviathan-

ugh i hate people with levi's

ugh i hate people with levi's :(

never seen anybody using the CIV :(

get yourself a brandish... you will be much better off with the charge (dealing more damage then levi or CIV would to large groups) and your party would apreciate it (not getting pinned to the wall with a horde of slags they can't shieldbump away)

the charge on the CIV has a lower knockback tough (but like i said i never seen anybody using it) if you realy like the charge and want to do FSC i'd say go for the CIV. if you like the combo and want a nice DPS charge (ripping trough zombies and NOT flinging them across the room) go for brandish (ice/shock prefered not essential)

i have a glacius with undead medium and with the sword bonus medium on the snarby cap i use i do 700+ damage on the charge strike (and 200+ on explosions)

@OP-I have levi and I hardly use it.You can do FSC with a levi too,but it' not nearly as good as DA/elemental brandish.I suggest you not to craft either of them.

IF you have an ascended already, it's too late for CIV. The CIV upgrades from the Cold Iron Carver, not the AC.

Also, many people have stated this already, but the search feature, while broken, still gives you answers.

I have a CIV, because it looks cool, and less knockback. The Levi will outdamage it as a general rule. Hell, if you want the damage undead hi, just search the auction house, buy a cali undead hi for dirt cheap, and make your Levi. VOILA, problem solved.

edit: this has been said so many times I'm getting tired of saying it myself:

the damage CIV deals to undead is so high that it can't even be determined for certain in strata 6

I have a tempered calibur

I have a tempered calibur sitting in my arsenal while also having an acended and I can get 4* stuff quickly which means CIC is no problem but CIV will take awhile,but I don't want to waste CE and time on something I won't use. I just want to know what to get FIRST before finishing my full 5*

don't get either, frankly

get a brandish upgrade. Combuster, then Acheron. If you insist on one of the Calibur upgrades, I prefer CIV for looks. Neither of them come close to the performance of the Brandish line. Prepare to be disappointed, but it's your CE to waste.
