Ok so i'm sure there have been plenty of extreme ideas and such for this but really i'm just going to keep it simple and logical..
I played in Beta and i am a little disappointed to see the game still having little bugs.. and the guild hall itself (which i not only begged for but also suggested the crafting bench be put in) no longer being the happy garden it was but now a dark dank cave..
Anyway firstly some bugs that need to be fixed, if nothing else comes from this post i hope at least you fix these minor (annoying) bugs: -

Why not add a bulletin board? I'm sure this is not a new suggestion and i doubt it would be too hard. A simple monitor will do for the model even.
Or if you're up for a bit more of a challenge a screen that displays the last 5 or so guild chat messages. - Now i'm glad you still kept the crafting.. thing.. in there but i recall in beta there were strangers in there who sold energy and item slots. So, right here somewhere there should be an energy vendor or a PvP knight (cos there should be more guild PvP happening): http://bit.ly/Is8wx1
I just feel like the guild hall shouldn't feel dead and empty all the time. You need something to do in there.

Like i've already mention, it's just not a very welcoming place. Time to fix that me thinks!

If you could just change the lighting a little and brighten it up a bit.. slip in a little grass here and there it'd just feel so much happier and twice as welcoming. People would want to spend more time in there, thus spending more time on SK. - These closed off paths, now i know they were originally intended to connect to the rest of haven but they are just useless now: http://bit.ly/HBZHkP Not only do they have no use but they, in my opinion, make the hall look more like an abondoned construction site then an official guild hall.. simply replacing with some grass would be cool.

Now i know all my ideas won't make it.. but even if a bug is fixed or a slight change is made i will feel like it was worth it. :)
Indeed people have been working up suggestions for guild improvements. This is probably the most notable thread for it, but its original poster has gone a forum hiatus so I don't know how useful it would be to post there. However, i does contain ideas regarding bulletins, vendors, and PvP.
Regarding the bugs, I'm pretty sure I've been able to exit my guildhall to go to Haven and I haven't noticed the random lump, but I'll check again later today. For now, I'll just say that those should be pretty simple fixes (should they need fixing).
As for the visual upgrades, Severage's thread also contains some stuff about those. Specifically about water, we already know they have textures for it (the fountain in Town Square and the pool in the northwest corner of the Bazaar), so it shouldn't be hard to put more water in more places.
