Darkfang is a Gremlin themed shield (Darkfang Thwacker). As such it has a higher chance of appearing in Gremlin themed floors such as Gremlin Grounds and Decon Zones.

EDIT: Also there's hardly any evidence regarding Snarbolax as the king of wolvers, hence we don't call it that. but yes, there are variants still such as Snarby (nickname), RT, IMF and ICMF.

Continuing from what Gwen said, even with the better chance in Gremlin areas, its still probably one of the most rare things that are obtainable in game.

Augustwell i have had my friend say that he got 2 4* owlite shields at vana but the highest star, and i think the only thing i saw, was at an arena on T2 and a 3* MK ll gun dropped. But this was a long time ago, maybe September/August

Wise Owlite Shield...
Just picked up a Wise Owlite Shield (4*) during the Candlestick Keep level of Whipping and Mishandling. Not the first item I have seen from a box, but the first time I was the recipient. Everything else I have seen has been 1*-3*. It sort of surprised me, because I was only at depth 14.
Makes sense in terms of flavor, finding an owlite shield in the ruins of their library.

you can gt almost any 1-4* item and you can also find any 1-4* recipe how ever its like getting a dapper combo 10 times in a row form lockboxes.

I got a Super Slime Slasher from JELLY KING treasure boxes. An a 4* Gravion Bomb from FSC boxes. Also seen a few other drops on JELLY KING runs that i didnt get :X

So its supriising. suparsa. suprising sup rising. souprinsg. Suprise-ing that it can drop some stuff on the red box and green box
so its Suprise-ing you can get random equipment base on the tier.

I refuse to acknowledge that anyone saying "jk" is referring to the Royal Jelly, and heretofore will assume it means "just kidding", because that makes more sense than Jelly King.
Also the game never calls RJ a "he". It calls it "it" or "they" in every mission. Just because there's an Ice Queen doesn't mean the other Royal Jelly is the "Jelly King".
It's similar logic to saying "you have a friend, and he's a boy, so he must be your boyfriend".
