Magikat Event?

Simple suggestion: Magikat Promo/Event (As far as I know, these items no longer exist [except for a GM probably], and probably can be rewritten)

1) It could be a normal Promo, able to get three colors (black, white, brown) of Magikat Hood (Eyes Open) or three colors (black, white, brown) of Magikat Cap (Eyes Close) as costumes.

2) In an Event, some Knight could appear with a Magikat Hat and give a Prestige Mission (repeatable) during Fri13th weeks or Halloween. He wants you to find Owlite Remains in a kind of Arena graveyard. In those areas, Black Kats (with curse auras and can curse) and White Kats (remedy auras, but can still damage with bites) fill a single room, about ten Blacks and ten Whites (less for lower Tiers), and one must kill them all to collect their Drops, Owlite Remains. They have chances of dropping the Token which can be exchanged for the different hats.

Eh?

If they are actual armors, why not Promo it or put it back in? It looks nice, and that's why I put up a suggestion for this.

Eh...

I personally don't see anything terribly wrong with this, I suppose. My only beef is that Owlite Remains might as well just be tokens that you exchange for the Hat/Cap.

No. No Magikat CE promo. No

No.

No Magikat CE promo.

No Mission event.

Bring them back as drops from rare spawns like they used to be. It's not like there's a shortage of Candlestick Keeps to put them in.

Why do people are so obsessed

Why do people are so obsessed with magicaps?

And why people with all that obsession wants to make them common item that will be dumped on AH with first days of promo?

@Asukalan

Token items are bound.
Costumes are unbindable.

Except that the magikat hats are actual helms with real defenses, not costumes.

I'd like to see that

I want to see a few things from the beta version come back into SK. If magikat hats are still only 3* gear then it's not of much use to advanced players.

The tortodrone is making a come back to Spiral Knights in who knows when. So if thats happening, then maybe magikat hats might.

@Sentinel-Zx: and since when

@Sentinel-Zx: and since when did they confirm the tortodrones to be returning to the game?

on another note,as much as i would love for an event like this,im afraid that im going to have to agree with Shoebox.Bring them back as rare drops with the same chances of dropping from a treasure box as the darkfang shield.we need more extremely rare items in the game,and the magikat hat fits that category perfectly.

@Sentinel-Zx: huh.wasnt

@Sentinel-Zx: huh.wasnt expecting that.either way,hopefully the tortodrones will find their way back into the game soon.but to stay on topic,i agree.if they can bring back the tortodrone(and maybe the tortomega that seems to be in close relation with the tortodrone) then its fully possible that they may bring back the magikat hat.hopefully.

Only the Magikat Hat and its open eyed variant are 3*. Both the open and closed-eye variants of the brown and white kat-hats are 4* and 5* respectively.

Unless I'm mistaken in assuming the open-eyed and close-eyed hats are seperate helmets.
