i have been playing Spiral Knights for a week now, but trying to buy energy from the trade with the in game currency and saving for equips is a bit difficult. so i want to ask YOU the players to see if anyone has any tips or advice to help me and anyone else that has the same question i have...while commenting, talk, discuss, decide on whats the best. thank you :D

I know this is something I myself have been having issues with. I try to go dungeon hunting as much as possible but always start dying by the middle of the 2nd tier as I run solo runs. I don't know anyone in the game so joining up with friends and guilds hasn't been an option for me as of yet. I'm not even really sure how to go about that and such. Well in response I know some of the responses on other post of this nature have been to join friends who are deep into the dungeons around D13-15 or so. Or join friends during a jelly king run. this supposedly nets you anywhere from 10k-15k in crowns. Well that's about all i know but anyone reading this please feel free to add me in-game as a friend. Forum name and in game name are the same.

Pay attention to what kinds
Pay attention to what kinds of enemies you're likely to encounter and choose your gear accordingly. You may be much better off with a sword than a gun, or vice versa. If you have a hard time with certain enemies there's no shame in choosing other gates.

Rather than waiting for
Rather than waiting for friends, I highly recommend joining a random group and simply playing with them. If they turn out to be sociable and intelligent, you can add them. Otherwise, just do whatever. I typically join random groups and have consistently been pleased with the quality of the players I meet.

One way
Do JK runs and play defencely block more than you hit.charge up wepeons.I prefer using a caliber or a night blade for the JK runs.
