What Do you guys want added to Guilds?

Right now guilds dont serve to much of a purpose other than having a second list of friends and being able to do pvp together. What would you guys say if there were more benefits for being a part of a guild?

Guild Bank:
I think have a guild bank or vault would be awesome. You could store any thing you don't need in there and people can take out what they want. Now of course there is that worry about everything being stolen but if this is added there should be some way to restrict it from recruits and or members.

Guild Rewards:
Like in missions how you build up prestige, there should be a way to build up levels in your guild, the higher you get in guild levels the more rewards you get out of it. Maybe a weapon, armor, shield, ect.

Guild Tabards:
There should be some way to design your our guild logo and then sport that on your armor weather that is a whole new costume piece or just a guild specific accessory. It would make guilds look a lot more official in my opinion.

New Guild Hall:
I dont know about you guys but guilds are expensive to start and to build up. Do you guys think we should get a new guild hall that isn't as dark and slummy as the one we have now? Its like they tried to tuck us away or give us a secret base of operations (evil doers) Or at least have different options for Guild Hall locations

Tell me what you guys have in mind, I would love to see anything good being added to guilds.

Re: This isnt storage for us, this is storage to be shared with the guild members. Dont need 100 green shard? throw them in there, im sure someone will use them. Its just a way to help the newcomers have a easy flow in getting upgraded.

I'm not for guild banks... I

I'm not for guild banks... I think they're silly.

I'm not for a guild emblem or anything customized in that sort of way.

Guild rewards based off of prestige... I like that actually. I think that's a good one and would work well.

For guild halls... In beta they were garden like and I preferred that. I'm also for being able to have guilds chose which one they want, the cave or the garden. I think that would be a reasonable thing to do for guilds... vendors just like beta would be nice.

Announcement board. An announcement board is DESPERATELY needed. We should have had an announcement board in game for guilds a LONG time ago.

Also, this belongs in suggestions. :p

Guild Banks would actually be nice. I have thousands of materials I will never ever evereverever end up using. To have them readily available for guildies would be convenient

Announcement boards would be pretty slick. I would love to be able to see what is scheduled for the day (boss runs, lock down, ect). It would make my guilds friday giveaways much more public to the guild members so they know when the giveaway is going to start.

Keep the suggestions a comin : P

The bank would need some sort of lock on it so people other than GMs or Officers can use it. The new people coming in would need to ask for it in order to use it, Or at least we would have a section unlocked for members and what not

Not only are these ideas old but they have not been properly seasoned or baked. What kind of meal for five is this?

Guild Bank:

Not all guild members, regardless of rank, are trustworthy or responsible. Do not assume because someone is a master means they are responsible enough to have access to all items in the bank and not steal from it when the items in question are not meant for them to take. I would name a few guilds who would have this happen but there are too many to remember, not to mention most I would remember have disbanded to form a new guild to pretend they did not harass guild members to pay them for membership. I recall replying to a thread similar to this about guild features with a similar response. In a fair and reasonable community this would not be an issue, so long as there are different levels of access granted varying by rank (master has access to all, officer has access to all but the master bank, et cetera); unfortunately there are those who prefer to steal from others and bump them.

Guild Rewards:

See the post by Alynn; too easy to exploit and the game is easy enough to play casually and get decently far.

Guild Tabards:

Though a uniform would be "unique", keep in mind how many guilds there are; would each have its own uniform/crest or would there only be a few options and many would overlap?

Thanks for the info, but if World of Warcraft works with all of these guild "perks", why cant Spiral Knights?

I dont have any worry about the guild bank as long as we can lock items from certain ranked players.

I dont see how guild rewards can be exploited when you can be rewarded the item only once. If you think it will be exploited, then why havent the mission rewards be exploited? Maybe its because you only get the reward once.

Yeah there are a good amount of guilds, does that not mean we cant have some uniform? The way i see the "uniform"... actually lets say we wanted a guild crest. The crest would just be a guild specific item (bound and cant be unbound). The crest is designed by the guild founder by using different templates and variations the game has to offer. Once the crest is designed, the crest can be rewarded to guild member only. What is so bad about having a crest.

Most of you guys don't seem very open to change when clearly the game is going through constant updates. Why do you think this will be game breaking.

Luguiru, the guilds arent that useful, what do you want to see changed to them.

Users in this thread seem to be against it because this thread already exists and addresses many features.

Again, the issue is not that this thread has issues; but a large thread for the same topic already exists.

Personally, I would love to log in one day and find an update for guilds with many of these features; the only issue is giving too much power to those higher ranked in guilds over other players. A bank would be unnecessary since our knights have infinite storage space on their own person. Missions already give people free items, equipment and recipes for completion. A uniform would be nice but people may guild hop to collect various crests or uniforms; would they be restricted to only being usable while in the guild or merely a costume designed by the guild? As for updating the hall, yes; this thread expands on the subject.

I can not communicate for others; when a thread already exists for something, making derpthousand threads for the same thing with far less content does not help the original thread progress. The following threads do not necessarily have issues but are unnecessary when something already exists and has far more substance. If this were about dual wielding/pets/something stupid only trolling/flaming responses would be seen here.
