ENERGY!

I don't mined with the thought of having energy. The thing that does bother me though is having to wait forever to get it to 100. If they could just make the Energy recharge quicker... well people would stop complaining.

@ OP

OP, I rather have a game that you wait for a regeneration to continue playing, it helps me manage my time a little better,
I do Feel that using energy on Crafting is stupid and instead should cost more Crowns, or something or maybe Less energy, 3* gear is 200 Energy? I hate that horribly.

Now back to the OP, How much better would be to have to pay for gear making the F2P players obsolete to the P2P players? You turning the game into a Donor game, giving superiority on the players with money.

I've payed for CE in this game, I feel the developers deserve it and hey, this game is fun :)
Recharge times should be faster, but This game is fine as it is. I like that I only have to give this game 1 or 2 hours of my day and within a period of time You max out your character over slaving hours and hours over a game, hitting max level / end game gear, theen...now what?

I agree

I agree with this Idea of taking away energy alot, but I have 1 minor adjustment to that... Energy should only be used to craft items instead of waiting to do a mission so that we can infinitely explore and do missions. For everyone who reads this comment, please follow on with me and start a group that protests about energy. Thank you for reading this reply, have a nice day.

Follow the group on twitter: SpiralKnightsAntiNRG

P.S. If taking it away doesn't work, then have them reduce the 15 min. for 1 energy to 1-5 min.

No. just, just No.

If you could infinitely explore, you could have infinite crowns. That would drive up the CE prices so much it would take a day to get 100 energy.
And if you got 1 energy per 30secs, you could loop FSC continiously, if you do it at the same average speed as me.
So please, think your suggestions through, streetbread

I think what needs to be done

I think what needs to be done in this game is not to get rid of energy, but change how it's gained and managed so that it's not turning the game into one that's purely restricted by how much energy one has.

For example, why does it take a full day to fill Mist Energy? Since it costs 10 energy to go down one level, this is literally limiting a player to, with perfect playing conditions (ie not dying at all in a dungeon) to going down 10 levels. Some missions require you to go down three, and most at least two levels, so in effect, a player can only do a max of 5 missions a day. No one wants to be really enjoying a game, and then have to deal with only being able to play 5 missions... and that only if they don't get killed or revive at all, and have a solid team backing them up with is far from a sure thing.

The other example is that you need energy to craft equipment... and even at the two star level, some of that equipment costs 200 energy. This literally says to a player, "You HAVE to buy energy, or never improve." since you can only hold 100 ME at any one time, and there's no function for converting ME to Crystal Energy. What happens when a player wants to get better than two star equipment?

What I think they can do in order to help players who don't have money to throw at the game enjoy it more is:

1. Increase the total amount of Mist Energy along with it's charge rate. Maybe increase it as you rank up, or each time you visit the Hall of Heroes, but make it go up to meet the demands of your current level and missions. This would mean not only making ME increase it's max level, but the charge rate per day. So at level 2, for example, it would go up by say 20-50 ME for the max, and increase it's charge rate so that in one days time, that max level would be reached. ME should be able to charge to the point of making most equipment; at least one piece per day, so that players can make the gear they need to survive and play through the various levels they HAVE to play through.

2. Supply a means to convert Mist Energy into Crystal Energy. This would not be a 1 to 1 thing. You would not be able to get 100 Crystal Energy for 100 Mist Energy. But you would have the option to sacrifice a days play to get energy that you can store, trade and use to make equipment. This would allow the vast majority of players to build up a good set of equipment without being FORCED to buy energy in order to play.

3. Add items or equipment that increase these effects. Both ME building up and converting ME to CE should have devices (in the guild halls) and equipment (accessories or trinkets) that increase those functions. When in your guild hall (even when logged out) you should be able to build a device that increases the rate of ME buildup, so a player doesn't have to wait as long for it to be full. When using the converter to change ME to CE, there should be a device or equipment that makes that conversion more efficient, letting you gain more CE from the changeover.

Now. A lot of people are saying, "But they'll lose tons of money if they do that." Let me put this concept forward. Right now, I love this game. It';s fun and challenging to a point, and I've spent a decent amount of money in it, even though I don't really have money to spend; this is my thing I do in my free time, which is short, so I'm willing to sacrifice a little for my own enjoyment. AND *I* THINK THIS GAME IS A MONEY SUCK. I'm WILLING to spend money in this game, and it feels as if it makes you spend WAY too much.

Right now, there are a lot of people who are probably really not happy with this game. They're going out and spreading bad rumors and stories about this game to potential players, telling them how much you have to spend on it, and that though it's fun, it's expensive and so not worth playing. And there are other people who are just randomly thinking of playing who are hearing these rumors and are not even getting involved in playing.

How much money is OOO losing to lost players, or potential players who might have played and spent some money, but instead went to something else? The game is worth spending SOME money on... but it shouldn't require someone to spend money on it every few days.

This week alone I've spent over 10,000 CE on gear and dying in dungeons alone, trying to get an Antigua. ...And yes, I know, a lot of the "leet" players are like, "Well, you shouldn't suck so much, you won't die so often." but most of my expenditures have been on equipment... until recently, I was playing with just one star Jelly armor. :P When a game gets so hard on the wallet that it's costing several times what a game with a monthly fee costs, then it's setting itself up to be played only by kids stealing their parents credit cards and adults who don't even think about money. ...And those usually end up with only a few hundred players, as everyone else has moved on to other games.

I think it's something to think about for OOO and Sega, so all their hard work doesn't end up going down the tubes. Guild Wars 2, a game you pay for once and can play free forever after that is coming up soon. I'm pretty sure they don't want to lose all their players to something like that.

really!!

question: why do people want so much crowns
answer: to buy equipment

here is a suggestion to begginers: play to earn enough crowns for energy and then craft an item with it u dont have to use ur mist. moreover the buying option is optional if u wanna play that much then play the minigames LD and BN (this is why they were made in the first place) and also the new mission system makes it way easier to farm bosses sure its hard at first but once u reach mission 5-2 things start going up (u can earn 10k cr per 100 energy if u farm boss and have a reliable party) once u make it to tier 3 vana is THE FINAL DESTINATION..all in all atmost they cud make the "cr to ce" rates fixed at a lower limit. this is what i do to make an over all profit of 2k per day + 100 ce!

quit complaining or make ur own game and see if u can run it in ur suggested methods

Here's a suggestion. Either get a forum mod to send this to the graveyard, or stop posting.

If you really

If you really think that energy is useless you probably haven't been playing this game long enough. This has been suggested by to many people that have just started. This also can cause SK to shut down, its the CE that people buy that keeps the game running.

Then YOU came, and awoke it from its eternal sleep.

Shame on you for practicing the dark arts(this is -only- a 2 week-necro, but as he didn't state something that already has been stated, I count it as necromancy)...
