WTF is wrong with esc skipping dialogue?
ok i hav a trick here, to waste all ur heat and CE in FSC mother spirit room
1. talk to mother spirit
2. try 'esc'ing
3. get %%@@%#$^#$^@ by a slag
4. some1 will rev u
5. congrats! ur stuck! couldnt skip dialogue, couldnt even read the dialogue! nice wasted my ce and lost my heat the only choice left is quitting the game going back to haven.
wuts bad about not reading vana's blah blah blah and get prepared! the mother spirit should stfu after opening all side gates!

I almost hit alt+F4 when esc didn't work and I panicked.
Not really, but it's annoying.
I get vana. It's a cut scene. But the mother spirit room... that's annoying. Very annoying.

Vanaduke's, too. Granted, you do have to wait anyway, and you still have ample time to prepare, but it's still an annoyance (and more) to lock up the controls during the dialogue. You could even do away with the old one quickly if you wanted, there's just no way to do that now.
Just today, I was in a party where someone managed to stumble into the Shadow Fire surrounding the gates immediately after we stepped onto the party button. We could do nothing but watch helplessly as he took damage from the fire again and again... and again and again and again and again until he died. And then Vanaduke finally turned around and laughed at us.

And coming to the forums raging like a 6 year old who was told he couldn't use his favourite bottle to drink his milk anymore isn't going to earn you any favours.
That includes speaking in text language. At least take the time to note the normal manner of speaking here. People that use text language here are generally thought of as below the age limit, due to visual reasons.
Anyway, you say you were stuck?
So:
1) talk to sprite, get pwned, die mid-dialogue.
2) Get someone to revive you, and you won't be able to exit the dialogue OR revive as a result?
In any case, the NORMAL way to deal with this is:
1) press F2 to send a bug report to the developers to let them know there's a problem.
2) Ask your friend to sit tight and stay alive, then go to website and send an Ingame request to the GMs for assistance.
OR
Let your friend solo the area, or return to haven and ask him to invite you back on the NEXT stage?
What NOT to do:
1) B*tch about it on the forums like a spoiled brat.
2) Yell at the developers when you don't even know whether or not it was INTENTIONALLY removed. It's a little something we like to call a BUG in this game. If they don't know about it, guess what? They can't FIX it.

You should accuse OOO of doing this on purpose, then you'll probably get a response from them.
But seriously....yeah I noticed this earlier with Vana, which sucks enough.....but it didn't occur to me about the mother spirit. Yeah that really sucks!

i didnt rage when i found the attack key bug last time
i didnt rage when i wasted 1800ce for a shadow key by accidentely using it when i didnt even notice (that was my fault but i reccomend a popup like when u open lockboxes)
this time i had enough, bugs r gettin ridiculous, i found it i hav rights to complain and yell, im helping the developers by even spending my time and ce to record a video, what else do u need? a fake hidden "plz" or "sry" from me? well lol NO
but this is from my heart:
PLZ fix this annoying bug!
now im afraid of goin near the killer spirit, just simply avoid it
PS: when u get stucked, its impossible to talk, thus 'tellin friends' is impossible, cant even type, F2 doesnt work in this situation as well, basically all keys except ESC doesnt work.

I am usually nice. However, it irks me when others decide to demand whatever it is they're demanding just because it happened.
In the case a GM manages to attend to your situation, there will be no loss of heat, unless the GM is forced to take an 'around' route. The bug report is just so the devs know there's a problem so they can fix it so it DOESN'T happen again, instead of them NOT knowing about it then NOT fixing it and this happening to you AGAIN.
You have right to complain and yell? Then I reserve the right to disapprove.
And who's asking for a sorry?
Also, you don't rage over losing 1800ce, but you rage over losing heat from a repeatable stage?
...wut.
In any case, that's why it's a BUG. An error in the update they need to know of so they can make a fix for it. Sure, raging about it's going to let them know about it, but it won't reflect well on you.
At least be nice about it so you don't end up looking like such a [something offensive]. It's just a little heat, it's not like it made you lose 10Kcr or something.
As for the energy wasted, fair enough. Although I don't know how much was wasted, so standard acceptable reactions will vary.

because i deserve to lose 1.8k ce since it was my fault, i was being stupid shooting around near the SL lifts, well i did report it as a 'bug' but up to now no response.
its not the heat that bothers me, i hav everything lv10 who cares about heat, stuck and seein my char gettin slapped by a bunch of slag morons which i can kill with pretty much 5 hits rly annoys me, and u can do nothin besides leaving the game resulting people flaming you 'why TF did u leave!' 'UR so selfish'. u get my point? the 1st time i discovered this bug is when my last team mate put all hope on me, i was dead [raging] near mother spirit and i counldnt even tell them NOT to rev me. (it was a rookie team tho, i wouldnt die once b4 vana unless not in good mood or lag)
1. i hav elevator pass, only my friend wasted 10ce while i was recording, not me
2. i dont care about heat but there must be some1 else out there who died like me and ended up wasting time and CE
3. ik this is a bug, ive removed all fbombs. (at the time i made this post i was angry but not after recording the video)

Anyway, I see. So your party started raging at you for leaving (a somewhat immature response; they could've just ASKED'). Also getting your posterior handed to you by some monsters you'd otherwise wipe the floor then the windows with.
Anyway, to address the Key thing, that's not so much a bug as an error of player judgement (as already highlighted by you). A better solution would be to put a suggestion in the suggestions forum asking for a prompt about it?
Anyway, did you go on to do the shadow run? Or did you just leave it unlocked and didn't do anything with it?
If you didn't do the run, send an email to SK support, detailing to them what happened and see if they'll compensate you for your loss. I don't know if they will; I haven't had this happen to me before, but it's worth a shot.

"End conversation" dialogue option
How about they just put an "End conversation" option with every dialogue or scripted cut-scene.
I'm actually confused why some NPC's have this option and other's dont. Also, this way you can skip the Vana opening dialogue without having to press ESC.
Effectively, should they fix the ESC key to skip dialogues and cut-scenes this dialogue options offers an alternative method.
