So, what's your most expensive failure? A Shadow Lair with a 400e revive price before you quit?

I just got mine. Over 30k crowns and 1400 energy. Bought a Justifier Jacket recipe and crafted it... before realizing I was supposed to make the Shadowsun Slicker. And then bought a Deadshot Mantle recipe by accident because sure why not heap insult on the injury.

well...

Never had big failures in this game, as price tag for rev goes above 40 ce, I quit the mission. But a guy from my friends list recently wasted over 1,3k ce for RT mission.

It was probably that one time when I just had became *4 and I tried to solo RJ...I spent 2k ce. Or maybe that time I spent 4k ce to unbind a Leviathan Blade and sold it for 100k crowns. I was a total failure back then. I can now confidentially solo RJ without reviving :D.....I still want my money back T^T

I was trying to build an optimal loadout for FSC, and I thought the Cold Iron Vanquisher would be great with the Undead bonus. I searched the forums, and bought a CTR Medium Calibur for around 1.5k CE. While upgrading the sword I forgot that the Calibur line branched at the 4-star level, and crafted it into an Ascended Calibur by mistake.

So back to the forums I went, and bought another CTR Medium Calibur for around 1.5k CE. This time I did it right, and finally had a Cold Iron Vanquisher. After trying it out, I realized that the CIV is terrible, so both swords sit in my inventory, never used.

Total cost: ~5k CE, plus the time wasted heating them up.

I see what you did there, psychodestroyer.

And well, worst and most expensive failure I had was at the FSC mission, along with a friend. It went pretty well untill we reached the Throne room, where we did so horribly we spended almost 500CE together on revivals. And we still didn't managed to beat the bloody bastard. :l

Still, the most expensive, but sucessful run, was at the snarby shadow lair, with the same guy, or at least for him. He spended like 1500CE on revivals, plus a shadow key bought with his own CE, just to get a snarbolax set. I eventually had to give him my nightmare mane mat just to compensate some of the energy he used, it's the least i could do... He thanked me so much he even gifted me the Crimson Hammer mission expansion! I honestly couldn't believe on that.

Think I just got it

I've been throwing myself against the mission The Silent Legion for a few weeks now, and for the life of me it's pretty much like bashing my head against a concrete wall. Seriously...screw Greavers, and SCREW Devilites, especially when they're in a Devilish Drudgery map. Anyways, I finally said to myself that I'd keep pressing on if I could get through the second level only reviving twice. I finally did, and made it to the final level, which admittedly has a really cool setup. Get to the last fight, and of course I die again, but by this time I'm pretty much "screw it," and use 40 to revive. I then die AGAIN, rage-buy 100 CE, and use the 80. And then...dead again. 150 energy burned in revives in a single run, and I can't beat the damn thing. Urrrrrgh.

Too many, but I'll do today's

Today: Had roughly 40k crowns
I saw a possible cheap costume that'd look completely awesome (and I've never seen anyone else with it which is a plus)
Costume (Don't steal ;_;): Fused Demo Helm with Skelly Suit
So, I bought the Demo Helm, then bought the Fused Demo Suit recipe (misclick of course). I started crafting the suit by accident, using my energy and most of my crowns. It turns out that misclick made me buy 2 recipes, so a kind knight traded me a fused demo helm for a plethora of meh accessories and 2 lockboxes. I now have 3k crowns, my costume (no accessories) yet, and an extra fused demo suit recipe. Complicated story, I could've told it a bit wrong, but whatever. I ended up with the right stuff in the end... even if much of my money is now gone. (I should be at about 15k-25k if I didn't do the mistake)

But here's some math you can figure out: I revive with CE unneccisarily when i feel like it. That's about 10CE extra i spend per run. Avg. 1 run everyother day (i dont play as often nowadays) that is...?

Then convert that to $.

Mine's pretty far up there.

Accidentally opening UFSC when I intended to do UGW with only one teammate, which locked the party. We didn't wanna waste the key so we went anyway. We got our butts kicked so hard. Ended up spending up to 160 CE revives each before quitting and trying again at getting UGW.

Member 2, with Magic set, shadowtwch alchemer, firotech alchemer, owlet shield
Member 4, with dusker set, horned owlite, Blizzbrand, and prismatic alchemer mk II

I kept dying, and same with the Vog guy. Member 4 kept hitting Revive all, and we kept going until our revives were at 1k CE each. Then we got to stage 2 of the fight. We died again quite a few more times, but member 4 kept reviving all when we had 1k CE revives. Eventually Member 4 ran out of CE, and we couldn't go on.

Sad part is, we never made it past stage two of the fight (after first mask phase). 20,000 of member 4's CE gone...and we didn't even win. Pretty pathetic
