probably going to get shot down but why not here we go.
jelly based swords: have them be made of jelly, or a sword oozing jelly from the blade, or even have them look like ice cream pops. plus have the upgrade for 5* be either jelly king or ice queen looking with a crown as handle.
reasons: got a shield and armor so why not?
jelly based swords
I can imagine a jelly armor/shield since you coudl say jelly absorbs the impact...but for the same reason a sword made of it woudlnt do damage.
Think of it as pillows.
The question when proposing something in this case is not "why not", it would be something along the lines of "if it did this would that work"; any ridiculous idea can potentially be applicable to the game, even a gun which fires eyeballs. Watch someone try to do that just to mess with me.
If you can propose something which can be expanded upon, yes; "why not?"
What does it do? If it is a sword, what mechanic does it have? Does it have an original mechanic or something which already exists? How much damage does it do, and what damage type? Are any statuses involved? What does the charge attack do and how does it work?
A sword made of jiggly blobs would be amusing but without any information on how it works this concept has no merit.
make the swords speed be between brandish and cutter (cause jelly so light), with pure normal or normal with pierce damage. ice queen would probably have chance of freeze and king have a chance of stun or no effect. then have the charge be a hit the ground and spikes come up.
In t2, jellies infict and resist pierce.
They also gain spikes on themselves and can create spires underground.
Play the game for more that 1hr man.
jelly sword.
- a sword that contains the core of the blast cube jelly. when ever it is swing, upon impact the core's react making to cause a small explosion damaging the monster that is attacked.
- it has the same combo type as the callibur's 3 swing combo and has a small knock-back which would be 1 square at the end of the swing.
- it has only pure normal damage.
- upon using the charge attack, it will cause a huge explosion that the knight will not be able to contain damaging the knight about 5% of the damage inflicted upon the monster. the chance that it will damage the knight when using the charge attack is 45% at 3 star and up to 75% at 5 star.
- the charge attack has the same wave effect the brandish line has but will be an explosion wave.
- the sword will be shaped like this : http://img1.ak.crunchyroll.com/i/spire3/fbcded7d9ad4f2f1371e8c01337d7315...
but with 3 large cores that is in place throughout the middle of the blade. the color of the cores changes from orange 3 star, red 4 star and purple 5 star indicating a more dangerous explosion once charged.
this is just an example of the jelly sword.
Lhii, i know it. I played more than 1 hour, and more than 100 hours :D But jelly itself is very soft, so sword can't work, if make only from jelly. But if it will be "Jelly Spike Sword", i can belive to its piercing damage.
Blandaxt, looks like very good idea! I like it!
This game defies logic by its mere existeance.
Here's an idea for a Slime sword: a spiked Polyp club! It's a Normal/Piercing heavy sword.
2* Polyp Club -> 3* Brute Polyp Club -> 4* Rock Polyp Club -> 5* Royal Polyp Club
What about, instead of swords, a bomb with acid?
Maybe there can be a gun that shoots jelly blobs and they make monsters stick to the ground like freeze? (just a random idea)
this thread has become the random weapon creation thread. hehe, well all of this ideas can become a reality if you aply more details, just use ur immagination according to the limitation of SPIRAL KNIGHTS. then bam, a new set of a random weapon is made. cmon, put some effort into it.
This forum is where imagination/creativity claims are put to the test.
From past and present contributions from Blandaxt the community has deducted they are not able to create serious suggestions, constantly revives irrelevant and unnecessary threads, and does little more than "+1" or "you is dumb".
A sword made from jelly is entirely possible as it is logical to have a bomb which defies gravitational force; creating a mechanic for it is the hard part for weapon ideas. Anyone can reach up their nostril and pull out random names or images, but a sandwich is nothing without meat. Unless it is a vegan sandwich, in which case you should just eat a salad. Stop trolling sandwiches.

Just two examples of the idea of a Jelly weapon.
Well it is possible and even though jelly isn't the best thing for a weapon their are certain jelly or things related to them it could represent.
1st Oozing Sword-
A Lichen made an attempted at fusing with the blade of a knight.
Normal Damage= Low, Speed= Med, Special: The knight spins causing slight damage increase.
Recipe= 25Gel Drops, 5Gel Cores
2nd Rigid Sword-
The blade has become rigid and can cut through armor.
Normal Damage= Med, Piercing Damage= Low, Speed= Med, Special: The knight spins causing spines to be shot(deals piercing and rotation deals normal.)
Recipe= 50Gel Drops, 10Gel Cores, 1Rocky Core
3rd Lichen Blade-
Normal Damage= Med, Piercing Damage= High, Speed= Slow, Special: The knight spins shooting spikes(piercing dmg) and also causing spikes to erupt from a high radius(deals 1/3 of dmg)
Recipe= 100Gel Drops, 15Gel Cores, 3Rocky Cores, 1Royal Core?
Anything else I missed?
Time to reach up my nostril and touch my brain, then. First, I'll post a template; use this in the future for suggesting Weapons, if you have the time. The Recipe's optional, since it's a bit tricky to come up with sometimes.

Now, for the Polyp Club series!
Polyp Club
Stars: 2
Appearance: A club fashioned out of a pink Polyp, made of pink slime (not THAT pink slime) and spikes.
Damage Type/Status Effects: Normal/Piercing, no status effect
Combo Mechanics: The Polyp Club is a two-swing sword, like any other. The first swing noise sounds like a Polyp attacking; the second swing noise is the same, only a little higher pitched.
Charge Mechanics: The user drops the club on the ground, where it makes a "slime splatter", then produces two Thorn Roots in seven directions (every way except the way facing the player). The spikes carry enemies like a Brandish explosion, but unlike the Brandishes, these cause the main damage; to compensate, they have impressive damage-per-spike.
Flavor Text: "A club made out of a Polyp. It's covered in sharp spikes, and can make powerful thorn roots."
Recipe: 5 Green Shards, 2 Gel Drops, 2 Gel Cores
Brute Polyp Club
Stars: 3
Appearance: A blue Polyp club with dark blue spikes.
Damage Type/Status Effects: Normal/Piercing, no status effect.
Combo Mechanics: Same as the Polyp Club, but more damaging.
Charge Mechanics: Same as the Polyp Club, but more damaging, and has three spikes in each direction as opposed to two.
Flavor Text: "A pulsating, powerful piercing pounder prudently purposed from a particularly pushy Polyp."
Recipe: 10 Green Shards, 3 Gel Drops, 2 Gel Cores, 1 Brute Core, Polyp Club
Rock Polyp Club
Stars: 4
Appearance: A gray Polyp club with dark gray spikes.
Damage Type/Status Effects: Normal/Piercing, no status effect.
Combo Mechanics: Same as the Brute Polyp Club, but more damaging.
Charge Mechanics: Same as the Brute Polyp Club, but more damage, and has four spikes in each direction as opposed to three.
Flavor Text: "This slimy club is especially thick. It's broken the bones of many angry beasts and the teeth of many hungry Knights."
Recipe: 15 Green Shards, 4 Gel Drops, 3 Gel Cores, 2 Brute Cores, 1 Rocky Core, Brute Polyp Club (Level 5+)
Royal Polyp Club
Stars: 5
Appearance: A purple Polyp club with dark purple spikes, occasional white trim, and a little crown through a spike on the front.
Damage Type/Status Effects: Normal/Piercing, no status effect.
Combo Mechanics: Same as the Rock Polyp Club, but more damaging.
Charge Mechanics: Same as the Rock Polyp Club, but more damage, and has five spikes in each direction as opposed to four.
Flavor Text: "This bludgeoning breaker had a barony before it was beaten in battle. One bop breaks baddies into bits."
Recipe: 20 Green Shards, 5 Gel Drops, 4 Gel Cores, 3 Brute Cores, 2 Rocky Cores, 1 Royal Core
Here you go!
EDIT: Beaten to the punch, yet again. I really must stick to making missions.
i am loving this post. wowza.
@Alphastevo: i am loving that drawing to the right of the picture. remind me of the jelly shield star 2. its pretty cool. the second link, the artwork is on point. it definitively matches the club made out of jelly feature.
@Doctorspacebar: i do not know how u pull that out, but i conclude to my judgement, its a masterpiece. i lovvee it. all it need is some damage output balancing and it set.
@Luguiru: i will attempt to read every word that you wrote, but i make no promises cause i am very tired tonight where it is 4 Am in the morning and haven't got an ounce of sleep with a major head ache and back pain (ouch). so if i do not finish reading the entire text, have mercy on my soul.
@Etherx: the part "causing spines to be shot" i don't think that's a good idea because we already have a weapon that shoots spikes that belong to the snarbolax family. if we gave shooting spikes to the jellies, it would make the snarble barb line kinda obsolete. also about the erupting spikes, the boss snarbolax uses that move as a signature move and i would not want a copy even though the jellies are already copying him. maybe think or something else that can be shot from a jelly sword that hasn't been created yet. i know this is an immense task, but the developers had to think of this whole game and create it by using the programming language, which means they had to think of ideas, then make em possible through those languages.
so i think its possible for you imagination to think of a brand new idea of what could come out of jellies. but remember think outside the box. spikes have nothing to do with jellies in our reality, but in the spiral world reality it does. so think why can there be exploding jellies, why can jellies have spikes on them. none of this is logical. so think what is illogical for a jelly to shoot in your reality then apply it to spiral knights. lol just a suggestion, u don't have to take it to heart.

Repurposed the old sprites I made for them to kinda tie more into what Nicoya did with the handles.
Added TWO, counting, TWO, handle sizes! Then handle makes the club look bigger and more intimidating, whilst the thicker one is probably more in-line of how it probably SHOULD look like.
Still stickin' with the Royal Mace idea.
Every handle has a rounded ribbon with a leetul symbol on it: http://gyazo.com/46506f05dbefd2cda9782ec6512157e2
For flavor, I guess.
I like the Royal Mace's appearance better than what I suggested, actually. Very good job Alphastevo- first the Twins Maw, then this. The Thwack Hammer would be impressed with all these awesome Heavy Swords.
I'll link this idea in here since it seems to be fitting with all these jelly based weapon ideas. http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/55250
Because jelly is not solid enough to make sword. Jelly armor and shield works because they absorb attack, but sword will not work as sword, it will be like rubber club. Thinking about jelly weapons, i think jelly sword and blaster can't exist. But jelly bomb can - like exploding jelly cube.
