So i was in haven, and this guy named Mr-Spiraler told me that he would sell me his account bc the game was "stupid" and he was quitting. So he told us the password and he said he would give use the username if we payed him 10kcr and now I've been banned from the game! Temp ban. for selling accounts or something but i never sold anything. I payed HIM Mr-Spiraler for it. I didnt know it was against ToS. Ive sent in a complaint. :/ cant log in till the 31st. the guy just went on to a different haven after that. And then deleted me as a friend. Can we get this guy banned for scamming?
Lost my hard earned crowns.

I asked in that topic if it was against ToS just to make sure. But yes, this guy appears to be a scammer

I am amazed by the lack of logical thinking that some has. I think Il make that anti-scamming thread iv been postponing for quite a while now....
Lets see........YOU paid HIM 10kcr for HIS account.........
OWAIT!!!!!!!!! YOU traded HIM the 10kcr onto the the account that HE was suppose to give it to YOU!!!!!
BUT WAIT WAIT WAITTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!! If he truly doesn't want that account, why would he ask you 10kcr for it, since you will get your 10kcr back as soon as he gives you the account????? :O

Player made topic has no power here. If only devs would care more for forum, all they would have to do is to make some more sticky topics, not only "Mighty and scary forum guidelines". Yeah, managing game in OOO style, punish, not prevent.

Actually, i think that you should not be banned.
Even if all that was a big fail and scam, situation when player A sells account to player B for INGAME currency (not real money) is not bannable offence:
"7.8 Auctions and Sales
It is against Three Rings policy to allow accounts, characters, items, or money to be sold for real money on auction sites or otherwise. We will ask auction sites to respect this policy. We will terminate accounts that we believe are in violation of this policy. "
If you got banned, even if the 'official' reason is 'account selling' in fact you got banned just 'because' since ToS allows OOO to do anything they want, anytime with our accounts, without right to defend and not offering any refunds.

Even if it's not explicitly stated in the Terms of Service, the following line is in the Code of Conduct:
It is forbidden to share passwords or accounts, grant someone else access to your account or access another knight's account.
I think that sounds like what TC was trying to do.

I can vouch for some limited details. I was in the same haven and saw this fellow Mr.S the OP describes trying to sell his stuff.
Right or wrong, I have noticed some "scammer" posts as of late that seemed dubious at best, and most likely a feeble sympathy cash grab attempt.
I can at least support the OP in as much as what he describes, to one degree or another, actually happened.

First off, don't discuss bans on the forums. That's a sure-fire way to get GM attention, in the negative way.
Go to www.wiki.spiralknights.com and go to the support portal; file a report there and a GM will get back to you.
