1) How does it fit into SK lore? Gremlin vs Gremlin doesnt make sense.
2) Why? And dont say something along the lines "Just cuz i wanna". Puts in some real detail.
3) Do you have any idea how long it'll take to rig a Gremlin model with Knight movement? The Devs wont care for this selfish request.
4) Just use the deconstructor bombs and the wrench thingy.
To answer you Trobolta 1. There are good gremlins...and I think it would make it interesting to have some sort of gremlin rebellion branch in the game. 2. Because thought the game is great but do you really think there's no room for diversity in the game...and I mean more then just what armor you have...race has always been a BIG part of MMO.RPGs. 3.Yeah I know its ssssssoooooooooo much to ask for, but why not just ask anyways...it never hurts, and last but not least 4. I do use the Heavy Deconstructor ( I'm a 5* bomber) and I love it to pieces...as for the wrench wand...well its cool...it just doesn't last long for game progression.
Which part of this is profitable for OOO and new content that isn't purely costmetic for the players?
SK has al most no story, so before this there needs to be some story.
Well I'm not saying that this idea isn't just manly cosmetic for players and yeah that it wouldn't be profitable for OOO but hey (And I'm not saying that they need it) It would bring a lot more interest to the game..at least in my opinion. Some would find it fun i'm sure...but OOO's job as a game developer... especially and an MMO game is to alter and change to the players( supply and demand)...I mean really it would have just as much profit as anything else in the game...people spend to get what they want.
It's a nice idea and all, but unless it actually can be proven to be profitable in the long run, it's completely useless.
I hope you know you're not the first person to suggest this. The gremlins have a lot of fans, for reasons I will never understand.
Anyway, it's completely unfeasible. Adding a new playable faction is an extreme undertaking just to satisfy a gremlin-loving minority. There's too much work to be done with the already existing elements of the game.
Why don't we just give you Nick's Emberlight Gremlin costume and let you go nuts.
'Cuz then you'd complain there's no complimentary Thwack Hammer to go with it. Or at least a Wrench wand.

It should be mentioned that this has been brought up and shot down at least twice before. It would really be for a minority of fans, and it would take a massive amount of time and money that Three Rings could be using in the pursuit of MAJORITY happiness through weapon balancing and creation, new content, or graphical updates.
P.S. Constructs are cooler anyway :P

Being able to play as Gremlins would be fun, but it only brings in a different story experience and some different settings. It would not bring many new mechanics to the game. It would just further divide the playerbase. Playing as Gremlins would indeed please me, but its just not in the cards. It would take far too much time, money and effort just to please some players. It just wouldn't be worth it in the end. At some point people would get tired of Gremlins too and want to play as Devilites, then Jellies, etc...then what? We would be like World of Warcraft or one of those other games like that.
The only time I would see Playing as Gremlins a reality is when the developer have done everything that can me done for the Knights. Fixed every bug, balanced all the weapons, made a sufficient amount of content and done everything they can do with the knights. I highly doubt that they will ever get to this point
HAAHAHAHAHA man if I knew I would have opened up this big of a can of worms then I wouldn't have even bothered...I mean I know its asking for a lot...I've been saying that from the beginning and I know that OOO is all about profit...hell Id be happy and content if they were to just make an gremlin type line of stuff...nuff said.
it sounds like the gremlins will be fighing spiral bosses like faron, bechamel, etc. also would we be an EVIL gremlin thatworks with seerus, or a NUETRAL one that works in emberlight?
