Damien is pretty mugh right

Damien is pretty mugh right (to an extent of course)

Its more about tactics that equips (ok equips matter, because you shouldnt be going in with 3* in T3)

Also for the gunners that use strikers and go in circles, the way to counter them is jut run towards them in the opposite direction they are circling. They wont be able to turn and shoot fast enough and you can get 1 or 2 hits on them.

Say what ya want about gear, but there's a definite imbalance in classes. What's the ratio of pro guards/recons to strikers? 1:5? 1:10? That alone should say enough.

In any fighting game worth a damn, there's a balance of speed and power. You're either fast, but kill enemies with a thousand cuts; or you're slow, but when you strike it's devastating (we're gonna ignore that speed/positioning is actually worth far more than power at high level play; we're talking about amateur level). As is, swordstrikers are both. It breaks the balance of power. I'd prefer to see the striker lose the sword dmg, but gain gun speed. Forcing swordstrikers to give up a heart trink to reach max dmg would then turn them into glass cannons of sorts since they're losing out on even more hp.

Lockdown is definately not balanced

Lockdown is divided into 3 tiers, but there's 6 stars worth of weapons 0-1=T1, 2-3=T2, 4-5=T3
1 beats 0, 3 beats 2, 5 beats 4

Unbalanced: 1 Balanced: 0

Also, If you're smart enough to look on wiki, stable rocket hammer does more damage than swift flourish; whose damage is reduced by jelly and wolver lines. Therefore, most people go with wolver line's sword damage bonus without thinking about rocket hammers' OPness and pure elemental, even IF you wear elemental hood and elemental cloak, rocket hammer still wins out because it has increased damage

Unbalanced: 2 Balanced: 0

Finally, trinkets; those horrible variables allow almost instant pwnage in lockdown and because you need lots of energy to buy the slots, only the more evil players that are just plain desperate to win will even think about these, and save up especially for them, but I have something to say to them: Are you really going to just spend your life (and crowns) in pvp? There's these things called "missions" that get you better weapons not just for pvp, but for pve as well.

Unbalanced: 3 Balanced: 0

I think that we've come to a conclusion here

You have to play to win

Someone made a comment about how these balance complaints go "all the way back" to the first CounterStrike. Well, I guess that dates me, cause I go back before Doom, to before PCs and before gaming consoles. Not the oldest gamer out there, but definitely been around the block a few times. The fact that certain players play more, or take the time to acquire specialized gear, or whatever the specific advantage is... is all part of the deal. Whining about it solves nothing.

My Lockdown damage stats are not the best, but I tend to get my share of captures, and even lead the random team sometimes. The toughest matches are against teams that travel together and fight together, and the worst matches are with players who run off alone and do not cover each other. Having said that, my best capture score is 10. I did that by anticipating where the strong Faustian and pokey sword guys were, and being somewhere else capturing points across the map. My team was not working together, so I was alone on that one.

Fight until you die, then get up and fight again.
