The missions themselves are fine, but the rewards are not. The Tier 1 missions basically throw gear at you. By the time you get to Snarby you already have 2* stuff that they gave you. If I'm not mistaken they also give you the recipes to the entire "Standard Issue" Line of gear by the end of the rank missions. This is encouraging them to use the Cobalt/Calibur lines. Also I have a complaint about the Hall of Heroes, It makes recipes too accessible. I think they should just turn the Hall of Heroes into a place that the knights tell you about different types of gear and let you test it. Eh thats all
Tier 1 Rank Missions
So garlic, imagine this
You are a new player, coming into rescue camp, trying to get by. The free gear helps you, because as a new recruit you can't get gear as easily yet.
It is to HELP you out. And no, the "standard issue" recipes are is NOT encouraging them[give me a reason why they would be encouraged]- at least the way I see it. After all they are standard issue.
As for hall of heroes, I don't see what is wrong with it. Aside from the brandishes, the recipes they have makes normal gear- The gems like DA and GF are not there. [Brandish > all elemental/shadow swords]
Also, if you remove HoH: effectively restricting recipes to only Basil. So people do arcade, and in the end the entire mission system becomes pointless- there's no benefit except the boss missions (and the crests for fashion inclined players).
I just got bored, so I decided to post something I thought from the very beginning
To be honest with you, I myself quite like the addition of HoH. Before the addition of ranked missions I could never get higher than 2* because I had no idea what to do next in order to increases the quality of my gear. I got bored of the game extremely quickly out of complete cluelessness. Now with HoH in the game, I find it quite a bit more enjoyable.
That's just my opinion.
I'm with Gabrielhud here. It was hopelessly difficult to actually get any decent gear above 1* - even with looking at Vatel's stock every day (has anyone else noticed? He never has a Wolver Coat recipe) - and it was also hard when all the higher-tier players came down and bought ALL the recipes (that were actually any good, at least) for re-selling. It's even harder in T2.
@Gabriel Last time I checked, my brother was in your guild, and a Veteran within a day.
Nah. Would then be harder to get the recipes eh.
