Is this another one of Three Rings's economical ideas of how we slowly grow in the game?

That is the WORST refund imaginable. This happens to me so many times.. It's been over 50k already ever since I first started of last year that I've been doing these mistakes. It's now finally getting to me which is why I made this forum post. This was a recipe UNTRADEABLE because I got it from Hall of Heroes. 25 crs is better than hoarding completely useless irrelevant stuff.

So... you were careless and it cost you imaginary internet moneys?
so many crocodile tears.

I think the problem here is that you keep buying the wrong recipes.

Making a mistake of buying multiple recipes on accident or me buying the wrong recipe, point is we need change for selling recipes to NPCs! In the least, make it HALF of the original cost of the recipe's price rather than putting them all at 25 crs. Why should something that costed 10k crs be worth 25crs!?! This is an outrage, I demand to talk with the economical developer of this game!
This isn't preview anymore Three Rings. If you haven't noticed, Spiral Knights has already LAUNCHED as of LAST YEAR IN APRIL.

- Basil / Hall of Heroes have unlimited amount of recipes... they don't want the recipes back. Hence the price.
- Actually make an effort to confirm your selections before clicking OK... the button isn't an action game, there's no need to rush.
- It is a crown sink. We just need more people like you to make it more efficient.

I WAS RIGHT!

"It's been over 50k already ever since I first started of last year that I've been doing these mistakes."
It sounds like the problem is not with the system, but in the fact that you do not pay attention to what you are buying. It was not like this originally, but now when you mouse over a recipe and it shows what is needed for it it also says "New Recipe" or "Known Recipe" at the top. If you are bad about remembering what you have already then checking to see if it says "New Recipe" is the easiest way to make sure its not one you know already.
We have all done it at some point, you eat the cost and (for most) know not to do it again. Learn from your mistake and pay more attention, then you will not have the problem anymore.

Before buying a recipe, make sure it says "*NEW RECIPE*" on the top in giant, all-capsed, red letters.
Recipes give dumb payouts because missions give you free recipes you may or may not need and they didn't want to just toss 25k at you.

It's your fault you didn't check.
Stop blaming OOO for everything.

When in doubt, check the wiki.
When not in doubt, check the wiki.
Follow that advice and you'll never make that mistake again.

It's common sense.
EDIT: As in common sense to look at what you're buying, common sense for you to know that they wouldn't want it back, common sense for you to know that It may be exploitable if it was made in it's original price(CRAFTING). If you can't learn from mistakes(I once had a similar experience....), then you can't really complain.
EDIT: -_-, did you really have to do that? Yes I made a typo, whatever.

Yea guys, it's common sence. Get it rught you dummies. Gawd, it's so common sence idk how no one gets it. Stupids.

(See what I did there) there are millions of teenage idiots in this world. What are ya gonna do?

Hey, at least you didn't buy a Master Blaster recipe instead of a Master Blast Bomb recipe and then later on with Mission Mode you realized that they gave for free all those recipes.

This was posted 4 days ago already. Also, it was written with less spite.
This one is from march. I find it constructive in that it gives suggestions.

The system is just fine how it is now. If you make the mistake of purchasing a recipe that you can't trade, then learn from your mistake. If they make the recipes resell-able for 1/2-3/4 of the purchase price, then you'll have people abusing new accounts to run through the missions and get the recipes just to sell them off. I know that's not the best time/reward ratio, but you'll still have people doing it.

The problem is your lack of reading skills it seems, but I guess blaming three rings is much easier, than admitting you can't read well.
A quick lesson:
Known recipe- means you already have it learned.
New recipe- means you don't have it learned.
Hope that quick lesson helped out.

I have an attention spam of a hamster. Having two "Return to Haven" buttons when in the clockworks is as helpful as me not checking if I had the Strike Needle recipe. I never bought it & it never crossed my mind if I had it since I never cared for the Needle guns until recently so I assumed that I should just get it on HoH(I am Vanguard & have been Vanguard for a month now so all of my mission rewards have been wiped from mind as of I can remember excluding Cobalt recipes). HoH killed Basil & bounded recipes killed my wallet..
I could have gotten rid of all those recipes I got from mission rewards by selling them all for 25 crs each to the vendors in the Bazaar & not make these mistakes but then that'd make me even more of a fish-headed monkey brain. Who would have guessed I'd loose more money by already having these bounded recipes than by actually NOT having them? Only Kitty-Softpaws...
Yes, it sucks, we know. You have made the same mistake that every end-game player has made or will make. The vendor prices are outdated from the days of the preview. The only way to prevent it is to double-check your recipes before you purchase them. You aren't the first person to complain about it on the forums and you won't be the last. So, expect the same reception: generic unanimous agreement followed by story time about how other people lost their crowns.
This isn't a conspiracy to control the market, it's just an outdated game mechanic.
