Wow what is this... please balance your levels, 3R. (screenshot)

This is the very beginning of the level; the elevator is a few steps to the right of me (see map). I didn't aggro these guys... they were there from the start. And there was no way to kill them from range because of the 3-4 healers patching them up every sec.
And this wasn't like level 27 deep in the abyss of Tier 3... this was level 19, right after the terminal. Imagine a new player just starting Tier 3 and having this be his first level.
lol
Welcome to Tier 3. I hope you have a pleasant stay.
I'm not new to Tier 3. This is obviously a balancing issue. Like I said, don't just think about yourself (I didn't really care about losing the CE and thought it was kinda funny)... think about a new dude who just got into Tier 3 and this being his first level (it was 19, after all). He'll probably uninstall, lol.
I think the bug and update might address things like this. It's not a balance issue, its a bug.
On the note of balancing, am i the only one who thinks Slimes and Fiends are way to easy in T3?
The jellies are just moving treasure boxes.
I like the way there's a large range in level difficulty though. It makes it so that when you're first doing tier three, you never know how far you're going to get. If you're lucky, you can maybe make it to the core. Get a really bad level and you might not get to the vendor. It'd be boring if the difficulty was the same every time.

If you've made it to T3 and have checked the floors coming-up, a mob of grems waiting to roast you should not be too hard to dispatch. It's like planning ahead to do a Jelly King run. Carry certain vials and appropriate weapons...

That's what it looked like the very first time I entered tier 3. I did it solo and killed all of those gremlins without reviving once. Tier 3 should be tough and I thought the extra challenge was fun without being impossible.

This happening is not unique to Tier 3.
I've seen the same thing with a monster screen and ice bats in T2, this looks several times easier to deal with in comparison.

Go in there with a party if you cant solo it - really, even though they scale health with more people (I think) that part becomes really easy (and fun) with a competent party.
...You Think FIENDS are too easy in Tier 3?
Wait til you come across shock/freeze/fire Grievers?
Oh my god.
My friend and I wiped twice. We had done a depth 26 arena without dying the previous floor. Grievers just #($* you up sideways.
Grievers aren't so bad unless you get three or four on you solo.
They break off their attack if you hit them ONCE, so the trick is actually to not guard whatsoever, unless you can't swing in time.
Though I admit the status ailment haze can be a pain.
Ret, they're an absolute nightmare for gunners and bombers. They don't stop attacking us even if we do hit them.
There's no such thing as a gunner or a bomber. You're just someone who brought the wrong gear for that gate.
Right, because Three Ring made armor that specifically enhances guns and only guns, and armor that enhances bombs and only bombs, because using only one weapon type isn't a viable play style. Silly me.
You and your, everything needs to be balance, if not, I dare not start my massacre at all.
note: it's dare not, not cannot
Deckard-- the person's name in that picture is Green Lantern; if he can't handle some garbage mobs, then the comic world weeps. Come on, now.
OnMy-- a bomber is a person with utilizes (sometimes exclusively) bombs. A difficult concept, to be sure.
Re: Grievers-- use Sun Shards. If they hop on one, they pretty much insta-gib themselves.
Greavers do cancel their attack when I shoot them with my cryo, at least when solo. I'm quite sure of it as I have had to fight them repeatedly in the 27/28 arenas of Iron Titan, which I've been doing since the gate first went active. Pretty much have to deal with them that way on the 6 bat waves, especially in Thunder Fist.
Yep, looks like T3 to me.
And, yep, that's a holy-crap moment.
Thing is, I kinda like that.

Just seeing that, I think there needs to be a grenade launcher in the game.

Happened to me in tier 2, three gremlins waiting at the gate torching it. I can see how added healers and more flamethrowers can make that a daunting task however.
They seem to be asking for a bomb attack though.
Praktyss: "Deckard-- the person's name in that picture is Green Lantern"
In fairness, it may be G'nort in that armor.

1.) press button
2.) retreat
3.) ???
4.) profit
5.) quit complaining
lol take it like a man
your options are
1. shoot them with a range weapon
2. pull out a faust/gran faust and fucing run in their arms blazing
3. just go ahead and return to haven

Any time I encounter a Deconstruction Zone with that type of layout, I encounter exactly that waiting at the gate. Step on button -> run in, shield bounce -> proceed to kill them all.
Very easy. Fun, too! Especially if you've got high Fire resist, you can shield the flamethrowers forever.

I had this today...had a party. Was able to push through just because of that. The higher enemy health wasn't so bad as the ability to have walking distractions from me >.>
There was so much fire... >.<
How many threads have you made like this DeckardCain?
i faintly remember this one... http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/4741
This is actually the exact reason I love Deconstruction levels.
Don't change a thing, guys!
