Doesnt matter. Every armor is situational to the level/enemies and your weapons/style. There's no real advice to give.

Well I agree with your first suggestion. Bombastic Demo is definitely THE BEST armor set in the game, bar none. So I agree, you are on the right path when you say that is what you're getting.
