Cyrstal Energy Inflation

From what I have seen, CE (Crystal Energy) used to cost A LOT less. Lots of people have quit the game due to the fact that you can't even make up the energy spent in the clockworks due to the fact that people are buying so much of it. Please make some sort of thing that will stop CE prices from skyrocketing. It has already reached 8,000 crowns once, don't let it happen again. Nobody wants 100 CE to cost 1,000,000 crowns. THAT IS INSANITY. Only the people with thousands of crowns will survive.

STOP THE INFLATION.

I kind of like the inflation. It allows for people who buy CE at the drop of a hat to get further off of buying less, whats not to like about that?

CE is and will be at a good price until it hits 22K per hundred, at which point FSC will become unprofitable- and even then, you'll be able to sell the materials. So perhaps 25K per hundred?

Actually, I would assume more

Actually, I would assume more people to be unhappy when rjp becomes unprofitable on ce. So at 2.2k for 20ce, ce would be around 11k per.

Some of you are inconsiderate...

...or sarcastic.

25K is sick for they who aren't T3 yet. They can't get much cr because they can't get to FSC(or more correct: KoA). You didn't say how to fix it. This is how, IMHO:

1. Considerably reduce the pay of KoA to match that of normal T2 levels.
2. Reduce the pay of FSC a tad so that you can't get masses of money and so that other levels of it's depth are still profitable.
3. ???
4. Profit.

Processing Thoughts of You Always

SK already has 'some sort of thing that will stop CE prices from skyrocketing'!

They're called promos.
They have said that they would like the CE market to remain free - that is, set by the players and unrestricted by Three Rings. They are not going to limit the price actively, but by making promotions, they can encourage players to put more CE in the market because it is profitable.
All the problems result as desire for people to get a good amount of cr for their CE.

You haven't actually put in a suggestion in this thread, merely said 'let ce be cheaper'. You have failed to contribute any ideas at all. People are not going to take you seriously.

If you want the price to drop, come up with some good ideas for crown sinks. Then post on here again. The forumgoers are sick and tired of reading about people's complaints that CE prices are high. We already know that. We play the game. We are not blind. There are also certain people who will go out of their way to raise the price as high as possible. Don't encourage them by making threads like this. All this thread has done is to provide yet another place for people to moan about the same threads featuring again and again.

How many times do I have to say this... my fingers are starting to wear down.

Actually, if you want CE to

Actually, if you want CE to be worth 1000 crowns, easy for people to buy lots of energy. I have 24k, and I would be able to get like 2400 CE. Therefore, you would be able to craft more easily, get everything by CE easily. You would be able to finish the damn game. So I rather stay with challenging games to have more fun, not to get things easy.

*Edit* Yes at first I wanted CE to be lower, but now I realized that its fun when its challenging because I do not even want to be in a easy game where you can just easily get everything like 1000's of CE to craft 5* gear.

Yet another CE Pricing Complaint Thread, when shall we be delivered from these nubs?

"Lots of people have quit the game due to the fact that you can't even make up the energy spent in the clockworks due to the fact that people are buying so much of it." Really? Have they? They're probably impatient, noobs who don't want to do all the work.

"It has already reached 8,000 crowns once, don't let it happen again." 7.5-8k is the avg amount for crowns. Get used to it.

"Nobody wants 100 CE to cost 1,000,000 crowns." I don't know if you're exadgerating or just fretting over something nearly impossible.

Impatient?

Yes, some are impatient, but there is a difference between "Why play this for a month to get to the fun/hard stuff when I can already do it in game XYZ?" and "Why play this for a month when it's dullzzzzzz?" Mainly the issue is that, when you can only get 1-4k in T1 and 2-7k in T2, you can't gain enough cr (unless your lucky) to buy CE. This is an issue if you play for FUN and not for riches, like too many do. (i.e. login, play FSC, buy CE, rinse and repeat)

For one thing, the fact that you can do a T2 boss mission 3 times everyday by passes some of this, but it is still a little annoying how this game's second name could be "Grind Knights".

@Autofire

The fun part should be playing in the missions/clockworks, which players can already do 1-2 hours per day running purely on mist. As long as you don't waste your CE on revive/elevator fee, you will eventually get enough crowns to get CE for item upgrades, no matter where you choose to play.

That's all there is to SK. Even if you are waving around a 5* weapon you are still doing the same thing. If one doesn't like playing the missions/clockworks, maybe one should stop playing SK...

Another economic whining thread

I was trying to ignore this but it seems my patience has met the end of its wicker, even though the energy market is fairly stable right now and when the thread was made.

When it comes to the metaphorical sink which our market resides in, there are two options:

  • Increase the amount of either crowns or energy by increasing payouts or creating energy promotion packs
  • Decrease the amount of either crowns or energy by creating economic sinks which consume the resources in exchange for something else

By increasing the supply of either side that still inflates the market, each side one-upping each other until eventually it gets ridiculous; a lot of energy and crowns sitting around doing nothing, but not being used for anything. This is unlikely to happen but by only increasing until it reaches a desired stasis would be like adding the right amount of frosting to a cake; if you have too much, you wipe some off with your finger and lick it off. If you have too little, you squeeze more out of the weird tube thing. Eventually you run out of frosting.

By decreasing the amount on either side there is less resources filling the sink, meaning the economy deflates and those resources become more valuable. If the resource which has its valued increased, crowns in the case desired, people would be willing to trade you more energy for the same amount of crowns because it has a higher value proportionately. Crowns are obtained through missions, the Arcade, selling stuff to NPCs and other players, and some people make a little profit off the Krogmo minigames. Punch is a crown sink while Vise is an energy sink.

I would write a lot more but I have done this several times and it gets tedious.

For those with nothing to do I recommend reading my fanfiction here. If anyone asks, you are doing research. Literary research. No one will bother you to take out the trash or do the dishes.

Good News!

CE prices can't go any higher than 9 999cr!
So stop making controversies on the CE price becoming higher than 2 FSC runs!
