I really like the forum don't get me wrong but I was wondering if it'd be at all possible to give our usernames a hyperlink so we could click it and see what the last threads we posted in were? this would be very useful for seeing if said threads got a reply instead of going digging just to find the particular thread

You idea is one of these that faces the wall called "drupal", even if it can be expanded, upgraded and so on OOO still sticks to pure form of it rejecting any suggestions to improve it even little.
The usefulness of this feature depends on how far back it tracks your posts.
If it goes back to the dawn of time, meaning it has every single post you have ever made, it would be an enormous workload for building this database of posts which would have to update every time someone posts something. It would also have to include copies of unedited posts since some users edit their posts to completely change what their post actually says to make all the responses seem irrelevant.
If it only goes back for X days/weeks it would only track between a few to a few dozen posts per user but would be less useful; all you would have to do is remember back X days/weeks the general idea of what was in the thread/post, use the search function, and find some stuff.
If a post is created/edited in a thread, the thread itself is bumped up to the top of the list in the subforum with "new" in red lettering next to the thread title. A lot of people abuse this feature to keep their own threads on top regardless of how awful, unintelligent, stupid, et cetera the thread actually is. It could be a decent thread, but bumping provokes bump wars amongst threads because people refuse to allow the system to work as it should: if you have new stuff to add, add it. If you have nothing to add onto it, leave it until you do. The problem with this system is keeping track of which threads deserve to stay up while others are the generic "healing weapons"/"pets"/et cetera which should not have been created to begin with. In this section, more specifically this thread, but in the current section administrators barely do anything over here. Bookmarks work for personal favorites, but for those who want a meaty thread with greater than average content I created an index of stuff in my own thread here for those who would rather skip to the point: is this a good thread? Not everyone can/will/wants to sit down and eat the whole sandwich. How about some chips?
