Terstosterone.
This is a solo guild, made for myself. While others will flaunt around how united and "pro" their guilds are, I'm just gonna show that a knight is fine off alone too.
The crest is a stylized representation of my knight.. and a little more. ( look carefully.. snake head much? :3 )

I created this picture using Windows XP "Paint".

Aegis Team.
The shield represents the "Aegis" (not the Spiral Knights shield, but the mythological object) and the wings display what the guild stands for; fun and friendship. The crown with the four points represent the four most prominent members of Aegis Team and the "A" stands for Aegis.

We are a family of bros that do whatever we feel like on spiral knights, our founder Oakwolfsbane favorite weapons are her combuster and polaris, our good friend Iddris' favorite weapons are her blitz needle and polaris too and my favorite weapon is the leviathan blade. Also the grey owlite shield is the shield that most of our members have so I chucked that up there

Describe how your drawing was created (the medium):
First was roughly sketched out with pencil- took a picture- then finished by outlining in marker, erased pencil lines- and took a picture with mild photo editing.

The name of your guild and a brief description of the crest (1-2 sentences):
My guild is named The Illusionists, which represent the power artists have to create illusion- almost like magic. Based off of MC Escher's optical artwork, "Image Creator". I included a crown, both a spiral motif, and a symbol of leadership. In the bottom part of the banner is a french phrase used in the art world, "Trompe L'oeil" which means "fools the eye". The members in my guild aren't always what they seem, and they have have all amazed me.

Note: Got my new Wacom tablet this weekend and totally redesigned my guild's banner entry!

Mostly drawn with a mouse and Wacom tablet using GIMP and Corel Photo Paint.

I started by creating a silhouette of a heraldic banner, turned the banner into a steam punk sound system crest, created seperate elements and textures, and drew a new Notable Monster.

Obsidian Order's Crest of Mack retains the elements of our heraldic banner and is dedicated to the things we enjoy in game: having fun, exploring and listening to Harry Mack music. While exploring with our brand new Crest of Mack sound system, we attracted a new Notable Lichen, Soul Jelly Harry.

*The name of your guild and a brief description of the crest (1-2 sentences): Soaring Stella, The Crest is about blue colors, as well yellow, Stella, meaning "Star" it has a Star on the side of the Shield as a Hollographic-ish look *similar of some Shields like the Blizzbreaker Shield's*, as well has on the other side of the crest, a sky with clouds on it, showing that its night where the Stars appears.
As well under would be the colors of the guild, beig light Blue with yello, and a tree Branch on it.

My guild is called Tainted Perfection! The wing represents how we always try our best to reach to the top, but the mechanical aspect reminds us that we can never be "pefect". Despite all that, we keep trying to reach for that perfection, even if we fall into doom.

- I'm currently not in any guild, but I wanted to join the competition so I decided to create a crest for everyone without a guild,
There are 2 crown symbols, a energy symbol and gears on the shield (generic Spiral Knight stuff) and the colors are my favorite..
I decided to give the overall crest a purple glow and shading because ... well it just looks neat!

Drawn largely using Paint.NET and a little using MS Paint

Rigorous.
Since a lot of us in Rigorous have been around for a while, I wanted to go for something that sort of captured our past experiences in the Clockworks and combined them all in one place. The crest features a simple R surrounded by likenesses of all 4 of the Clockwork's main bosses as well as a mechanical cog to symbolize the Clockworks itself, all on top of a simple crest base.

The name of your guild and a brief description of the crest (1-2 sentences): My guild is Lotus Storm and my crest is a lotus inside a palm with a red sun behind it. My picture is our guild name converted into a picture and the palm is a representation of the Buddha showing that we are a welcoming and relaxed guild, the sun is a representation of the warmth we give new and old members alike

The Medium:
I haven't drawn in about 8~9 years so I used what I had, a Mechanical Pencil with 0.5 lead, Eraser, Printer paper, and... my mitts.

Guild name (Imaginary):
Order of the Clockwork Knights

Description of crest::

I hope It is OK for me to type more than 1~2 sentences as my guild crest serves as more than just a crest. The crest it self is based on the intricate design of the Clockworks. It represents the idea of a well oiled machine, where every cog no matter how big or how small, is important. A guild working together to achieve something great, if you will. However, our crest does not just represent the desigh or idea of a "clock" but, it also functions as one too. After all, we couldn't exactly call our selves CLOCKwork Knights if we were late all the time now could we!

The crest also has two "headlights" a top which serve as a shining beacon of hope while navigating the dangers of the Clockworks, illuminating even the deepest and darkest corners of the dreaded Candle Light Keep! The headlights also function as an SOS signal in morse code which automatically activates at the deactivation of a knight for whatever reason, endlessly blinking in hopes a fellow knight might pass by and revive them. Lastly, it also has a strobe effect to scare away small beasties and pesky critters. (These headlights activate on their own based on visibility, but can be turned on and off manually.)

At the bottom of a crest is a working compass, this is a very special compass that memorizes a knights path up, down, left, right, in and out of the Clockworks / Cradle. It is based on gyroscopic technology and this handy little function only activates should something interfere with a knights radar (minimap), It's light up arrows and center will activate returning the knight step by step back to their starting position. The center will be a solid color should the knight travel up, and blinking should the knight travel down. Of course if the knight decides to continue his or her expedition, they simply need to press the center and the compass will deactivate and continue to do its job of memorizing the knights every step until it is needed again.

Last but not least, this not only handy but beautiful crest runs on mist energy, it carries a module with in that distills mist energy from the atmosphere just like a knights reserve tank which allows it to function indefinitely. We do not just take pride in our crest's design but, stake our life on its functionality. The crest it self becomes a part of your body once you are inducted in to the Order of the Clockwork Knights and is integrated to your system and personal color, which will define the color of the headlights and compass.

It's a noble motto, signifying that we would sacrifice our family jewels for each other. But not so noble we would give away both. You need at least one.

Tier Zero. Our guild logo is a simple interwoven T+Z+0 thing, so to get a little creative with this, I decided to stick it on a shield (re:Crest of Almire, durr hurr)... I stuck it on the best shield in the game: Iron Buckler; small enough to be worn as a regular crest, appropriate star level for the 0th of tiers.

The Fallen
Crest of The Fallen is basically a shield (the shape kinda remids an old-fashioned coffin lid); inspired by the blackened crest/crest of Almire, but more.. umm geometric. In the center of the crest there is a silver bas-relief representing a crowned totenkopf (which is a symbol of our tendecy to die all the time... i mean the symbol of death we bring to the inhabitants of the Clockworks); danger stipes in the upper left corner is a symbol of our everyday activity - Danger missions. The hexagonal shape in the upper right corner is our official logo called The Fallen Rose (designed by me for our wiki page).

Medium: First sketched out with a pencil, then scanned onto computer and bolded/colored with Paint.

Guild, description: Aegis Team. Nothing very special about the items on my crest; The horse in the middle is the same horse which is on the shield Aegis, even though the Aegis in the guild name does not stand for that Aegis. The Leviathan pointed down in the middle was just some decoration, and the cobalt helm + calibur are meant to be the letters 'A' and 'T', starting the two words 'Aegis Team.' I chose to use those (along with the Levi) because they all belong to the Cobalt group of items, as is the Aegis. The background cyan color + grey border? It just looked good
