Earlier today, I bought a ASI VH Blitz, with the intention of trying to get CTR as the 2nd UV with the influx of UV tickets. Being excited and all, I forgot to UV lock the ASI VH when I used my 1st 2UV tickets, and obtained 2 Low UVs.

Encouraged by a few friends, telling me of past experiences of similar carelessness that OOO helped reversed, I decided to submit a support ticket. Which was turned down.

Disappointed, I decided to try again, and was turned down again.

To be perfectly honest, I view this as double standard. I personally know of a few knights who have successfully got their accessories unbinded, or UVs reversed.
1. Shadoowcs had his Twilight Aura unbinded from a Skelly Suit.
2. Cocosnake accidentally rolled on his CTR VH Haze Bomb and had it reversed.
3. Tersakoff attached a Prismatic Dapper combo, regretted it. Sent in a support ticket, and had it successfully reversed.

I perfectly understand where Cronus is coming from. What I don't understand is why is there a double standard regarding issues like this. I don't intend to take this issue any further. I would just like to point out what I feel is preferential treatment.

I don't hate OOO. I enjoy this game and I respect the amount of work they do behind the scenes, and I really appreciate their prompt response regarding this matter. But I feel this is something, where I at least have to voice out.

I got turned down like 3-4

I got turned down like 5 times for, 2 of them being recent mishaps. Besides the one where I couldn't switch a CTR VH Autogun I mistakenly put on another knight with my main one, but I did that awhile ago. I didn't know people were able to get their accessories released, but it had to be recent one admin told me, like when Shadow was able to unbind his arcane halo accessory. And yours is recent as well. I don't know, I think it depends on who's responding to your request. Some may have different answers or a more detailed one. My recent request got turned down for mistakenly putting up an auction for med time(even though prior to listing that I set the auction for a prior listing a sec before that at 2 days). Don't know if it was a glitch or lag, but I ended up losing quite some CE for it.

how about you provide proof

how about you provide proof that those people had actually their stuff reversed? calling double standards without any proof is pretty rude

@Prevailer

Tersakoff has agreed to come online later to tell his story. But if you want to call his integrity into question, then there's nothing I can do about it. If needed, he should be able to provide screenshots too.

I agree with the above hands down.

It might have been because of

It might have been because of complaints due to the previous circumstances (which you listed) from other people forced them to stop an original reversal policy to prevent further complaints and issues.

I don't even know how to send a support ticket

I would really have liked to know about this when I attached my Prismatic Dragon Wings to my proto gear ._.

If the Devs post and clarify that that is the case, I'm happy to remove this thread altgt.

@Hippo

I can understand how much that sucks, and only advice I can give is make sure you have all the prompts active it really stops you from making silly mistakes.

As far as a double standard I think this is how it played out:

Once upon a time Three Rings allowed players to have one uh-oh card. You make a silly mistake they come and fix it if possible, but as you can tell when they helped out 2 to 5 players like this like Cronus said players attempted to take advantage of this, so this policy was changed. Simple as we do receive nice things from Three Rings, but once we abuse it we sadly won't receive nice things. As far as having Uv's changed (I never heard a case of it at all).

How about Cocosnake's?

I can't vouch for the claim, but if true, that's an example.

Anyway, it seems pretty easy to me to tell that someone rolling over an ASI VH isn't doing it on purpose. I mean, come on.

I understand what you're saying. And if there's a change of policy, it's all fair, I'm happy to retract my words.

As stated in an earlier post, if OOO could just post and clarify there's been a change of policy compared to previously. I'm happy to graveyard this.

On a side note, that's a good idea regarding the prompts =) thanks!

If you'd like a support

If you'd like a support decision reviewed, please contact support about it (per the forum guidelines) rather than posting on the forums about it. That way your request will get escalated properly in a timely fashion, as opposed to when someone happens to run across it.

There's not a lot of detail I can get into here without violating our privacy policy. However, please note that the policy on accessories is that GMs can now help if there's been a genuine mistake, provided said mistake is reported right away. That's been stated before.
