Yeah, and it seems OOO is master in using this right of theirs. Every time something goes wrong they (people responsible for decisions) go all silent. Its not like EVERY company have no obligation to answer to their customers, yet some of them choose to do it, guess why? TO BE FAIR AGAINST CUSTOMER.

On another note: Look at the forums as a whole. Do arguments go anywhere? What is the point? We already know everything there is to know, when you think about it.

RSS is a joke now: It took the playerbase quite a while to adjust to vanaduke enough to all wield a blitz needle. How do you know that people just haven't warmed up to the new bombs? The new mechanic could prove better than the existing ones for bombers.

How can you so blatantly ignore us?: Its their game. They can do what they like, and that includes breaking it for fun.

4a. Can you tell us with a straight face that that was intended?: It probably wasn't.
4b. Will you take any action against the abusers?: It isn't their fault for being greedy. The game relies quite heavily on greed tbh.
4c. Will you announce that is exploiting the system and such actions will not be tolerated in the future?: It may be exploiting it, but why should it be accounted for?
4d. Will you give the whole community the same chance to buy UV tickets at shard bomb crafting price?: That would further break UV tickets as a crown sink, and would be unnecessary given that it DID reward the people who made RSS with a 3 UV ticket. It rewarded others far more, but only a minority of the players. And if this happened, then there would be a need to further compensate the RSS holders, whom are now blended in and harder to pinpoint.

Is this okay for anyone to spam now or are you playing favorites?: Look at gremlin chatter. Has it ever NOT been ok to spam/write blog entries in general? Unless its my thread that Eurydice moved to treasure vault even though it was about me, a spiral knight, discussing my own prospects in minecraft. If I'm going to be moved to other forums, then why should I even build stuff? The stuff was spiral knights related, but it didn't have to be.

I submit to you (whoever's in this thread still) that loyal opposition is a thing. You might not really get how that link is related to Spiral Knights because you're not a political science nerd like I am, but here's the gist of it:

You're part of a democratic body (the playerbase) and you are not the ruling party (OOO, the rest of the playerbase). It is your duty to provide the dissent necessary for democracy to function, however, this dissent must be civil or you're more of a rebel than an partner in the body politic. The dissent must be civil, professional and constructive: while it is in opposition to wishes of the majority, it is loyal to the overall body.

So, yeah. People in a protest can say please and write signs with hearts on them. It's still a protest, but it's done in a reasonable, mature and civil manner. Protest can be done in a way that isn't full of vitriol and mindless namecalling. Being nice to the people you disagree with doesn't make your argument any less powerful, it just makes it more palatable. That's what Choob, Dorael etc. have been saying

I definitely am having fun with the game. Those new shard bombs are absolutely fantastic. I'm just using the Dark Retribution style of play and they kill rooms of mobs about as fast as most other bombs can. The knockback isn't entirely unpredictable, especially since it's FAR less than nitrollnome's knockback. Level 10 5* crystal bomb with Damage Undead VH. It takes about the same time for me to clear a room of 10 zombies as it did on the old RSS, maybe a smidge longer. You just gotta update your playstyle a bit and learn how to maximize the radius blast. I can get roughly 10-15 hits per bomb in a good crowd of about 6 to 7 zombies if they're placed just right. CTR max, of course.

There are some things that I don't like, but eh. I'm loving the game and what it offers me right now. Am I a little perturbed that the RSS got a broken status? Maybe. Did I have enough CE to just get a different shard bomb? Yeah, and I love it. Now I need to make a SSB.

New bombs are quite fun, yes. But not as fun as the old, and we could have easily had both and satisfied everyone. "OHMYGOSH IT SHOOT BULLET IT GUN OP". First off, shrapnel bomb. Second, a gun can be aimed a lot easier and has both a normal and charge attack. Third, the RSS may have not acted much like the other bombs, but the blitz needle acts nothing like the other guns.

Seriously, there are too many children who think they are bigshots with their attitude of entitlement. On a side note, I find it hilarious when kids say they are going to bring a company to court due to patch notes. They also only act like bigshots when they hide anonymously on the internet.

1st --- These new bombs are pretty good if you know how to use them yes, they are not as strong as the RSS (Which was over-powered), but they are not as useless as the ionized salt. I feel sorry for kids who don't know how to use these bombs they are missing out.

2nd --- Not all wealthy players only the players online who wished to craft up more bombs. Three Rings posted patch notes like always and a few extra tickets came up out of it, but did it actually have an affect on the market? No, not at all Ce Prices didn't change value of uv's didn't change either. Btw great link it shows that you can make 12k+ Crowns a run =).

3rd --- Three Rings never has to and has no right telling the forum users who got punished and why. Oh, and if you consider those topics to be horrible you should take a look at the forums since I consider topics of ten year olds posting like babies and whining about them pooping in their diaper (Oh I am not mentioning any specific topic just in general). We didn't suck up to any moderator I don't know were your getting your information from, but it sounds like its coming from you asking a magic 8 ball. Oh, and if you want to say we spammed the forums trust me I can find 5+ Threads about the same topic in general discussion only difference is we were from the same guild, and all our topics stated different reasons why we love this game.

Its funny I swear the same players who were so upset over items auto-binding said the same thing towards Three Rings even attempted to protest and said this game would be dead. Oh, and none of these updates are forcing you to pay more.

Yes, not all the wealthy players did, and it didn't effect the market. Does it still make it fair? NO.

1st: Yes, I admit the bombs were overpowered for just a 4* specially when dealing with slags, but now they just went from an extreme to another. It's true that if you know how to use them they become effective, but I feel that they are a bit sluggish compared with the older one, specially with the 2nd blast, and I know that some people agree on this.

2nd: I know 3rongs always put patch notes before the patches themselves, but saying that people will be compensated for every shard bomb they had was a terrible idea. And well, CE prices going all the way up was just the worst it could have happened, which fortunately, it didn't much. Also all that dosh you see in the screenshot was before they balanced out the income on the KoA mission. Now it only gets up to around 8K.

3rd: Maybe i exaggerated about the sucking up, but spamming the forum with multiple threads about how much you appreciate the game is no better, if not even worse, than such complaining threads. More, I visited a couple of the threads of your guild and all I saw was extreme circlejerking, with nothing to do about the game itself. And I never implied that they should tell who banned who, I only said that the "janitors" appeared to not doing their job of removing/fusing your gremlin threads. And even if it was on-topic, then mind if I ask why didn't your guild putted your "opinions" on a single thread?

Also the game might not die after a update like that, but certainly loses a lot of its quality. And if there's no quality, people will eventually leave. And a MMO with no people is a dead MMO. Bound weapons is not a "gamebreaking feature", but it certainly bothers a lot to many users. It even bothered me, when I considered selling my ash tail coat with max stun UV for loads of emone, if it wasn't for the unbinding costs being so stupidly high it wouldn't be worth it at all. Oh, and there was an update that doubled the CE cost for crafting 3*+ items as far as people told me, and you tell ME it doesn't force me to pay more?

sucks with the new update. I just saw someone linking to this and all the arguments are perfect. You can't push them off. They need fixing for sure. Either a HUGE damage buff to 5* bombs and/or they need to shorten the fuse time monumentally.

For one thing, this patch was very....very illogical. They could have done it better. Say, make the shards do less damage if they are fresh, encouraging people to space the shards out. They could also blow up if they travel far enough, making it feel like a better AoE bomb. Instead of the shards planting themselves, they could shot out and then blow up when they hit something. This was quite illogical, indeed.

This idea of bombs only doing AoE, guns shooting and swords doing everything is really dumb, seriously. Polaris can hit an area, let's delete this gun, Catalyzers too, they do an AoE explosion let's delete it, Troika doesn't shoot anything so it isn't a mix of things let's delete it too; or if we go for OP weapons, let's delete DA, GF, all toothpicks, polaris, blitz, brandishes and all OP weapons and replace them with spurs PERFECT BALANCE. After that OOO can send a message to everyone that it's online that they will get double the crafting cost for any of these weapons in their inventory that will be sure to have no people abusing.

Everyone has their own ways of having fun on this game. I like to play boss stages fast and efficiently. The new shard bombs are still subpar damage wise even if you do manage to get 2 shards to hit a single enemy. At least the old RSS could keep on par to sword damages and was something different. Guess I'll be running around FSC with my voltedge, FoV, and Blitz Needle while my new RSS bomb collects dust. Also, might as well just take a nitro to FSC you would probably clear waves solo faster with that anyway.

What if every shard did one damage? What that be OP with its mechanics? I think not.

The mechanics have to be REALLY good for damage not matter and to make it OP. Like say, a weapon that is basically "the force". You know. That Star Wars thing. That could deal no damage, but would be a totally OP utility in SK.

Seriously. LOOK AT THE BLITZ NEEDLE *shoves Blitz Needle in face*. ALL the other guns sacrifice damage for range, while this does THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE.
All the bombs sacrifice damage for AoE, to hit more targets. Except for the old RSS. It was basically the Blitz Needle of bombs. And there was nothing wrong with that, like there is nothing wrong with the Blitz Needle (except it could use a little nerf, BUT NOT A COMPLETE CHANGE OF MECHANICS).
It's completely ok to have a couple things out of line. You know. DIVERSITY. Not EVERYONE that likes blowing stuff up is a fan of AoE. Just like not everyone that likes shootings things like giving up damage for safety. For those gunners, there is the Blitz. For those bombers, there WAS the RSS.

And I seriously had no problem with the old RSS one-shotting. It took SKILL, more skill than the Blitz that can also one-shot, and it ONLY had a charge attack.

I also have no problem with the new mechanics. They're cool, fun and all... But I also liked the old mechanics and we can easily have both.
