@Rawr If you knew anything about me you wouldn't of bothered trying to attack me over saying Blitz needs a 50% nerf. My FSC gunner set uses a max dmg/ultra ctr blitz. Swordie set uses a VH dmg blitz in FSC. I know what damages it does, I know how overpowered it is. I pulled the number 50% out of my rear end because I'm trying to show examples of how it feels to bombers to have RSS ruined. Not that I am asking for Blitz to be nerfed. Sorry if you misunderstood what I was trying to get at bro.

I used the DA, Brandish, Alchemer, and Blitz line as examples. If those got nerfed like RSS did I am rather sure you would see these forums filled of rage. Though I still fully believe the RSS nerf was unjust and decided by people with narrow minds towards bombers.

What do I wish Three Rings would of done? I wish Three Rings would of taken at least SOME of our suggestions and either made a new line for the new bombs instead of ruining RSS as we loved or would of at least attempted to fix all the mistakes the new bombs brought and increase their damages to being more realistic for 5 star weapons.

DR NEEDED the supernerf. It was so blatantly overpowered it was not even funny. You could kill things that even resisted Shadow damage with it easily. The same is not true for the other big damage weapons.

It needed a nerf, but not to this degree. As Echoez pointed out, the only thing it was really overpowered against was the Royal Jelly. I have never heard of the pre-nerf DR being used to kill shadow-resistant enemies, unless it was in a lower tier with maximum bomb damage bonus.

I've been bombing since the dawn of my days on cradle, and honestly the only bomber specific buffs I have ever witnessed are as follows: General Damage buff (but was applied to guns as well), Med CTR on volcanic demo suit, Bombastic got Med damage bonus for each piece and ... freeze resist?, Charged weapons not getting cancelled by damage (cept shock -.-, also for all weapon types...), And recently! ... BAB and Irontech are finally useful, seriously, i can actually use my BAB for what I intended!

Now, about the shard bomb change. I think the change wasnt fully finished persay, in terms of small tweaks that really should have been made in the test server, but otherwise I like them better, the old ones were too cheapy. Theres no fun without a challenge, and the old shards kinda took it away :P

*Tweaks To the new shards means: Small damage boost, faster secondary shard detonation, larger secondary shard explosion, NO secondary shard knockback (howbout knockdown instead?), and maybe pack in a couple morse shards at 5*

Maybe im just a skilled bomber, but after a small, while I found no challenge or risk in using shards, and even in very dangerous situations , they were still easier than other bombs. (example: it was probably the only bomb that could directly oppose greavers)

Now, taking that into mind, yes it was very useful and unique, but most of the time It was too powerful and easy. (for my likings anyways, I also dont usually use my electron vortex, because it can sometimes just does too many jobs at once) but at least the electron is a bit risky because of the walk speed.

The old RSS wasn't truly easy, it was just your skill making it look easy.

Nitro is the real easy bomb.

Ah, well I hope I didnt come off as imposing. Apologies if i did.

And yes, Nitronome is very easy, it's fun, and it's like the standard bomb. The reason why I dont use mine often is because I'm a strongly party-oriented support-role player, and flashy lights that compromise the ordinary directional integrity of most enemies within the blast radius upon detonation. :P

The pre-nerf DR easily put out over triple what the current version does, it did actually need that big a nerf. It is also still incredibly powerful, you can go through arenas with it and the only thing you'll need another weapon for is Undead and Fiends... it will chew through everything else no problem. The DBB, another staple for bombers, does not even come close to the damage the DR can put out if the bomber is smart enough and skilled enough to keep their targets in it.

No, no, you didn't come off as imposing. I used the old RSS without any bomb bonuses or UVs, and it took me about a month to get to the level where I could walk through FSC with it and not take damage most of the time. All I'm saying is that skill makes it look easy, but it's actually hard to pick up.

Vocal on both accords. please clearly state the nerfs needed for: brandishes lines, toothpicks, and both GF and DA. Without a clear plan for nerfing all three of those, you MAY appear to be a sword user who takes a schadenfrued approach to seeing the items you don't like being worsened. not pointing fingers yet, just testing the temperature of the water.

GF and DA shoot holoblades, they are not swords.

BTB shoots thorns, it is not a sword.

Brandishes shoot chains of explosions, they are not swords.

What is deadshot for then? Immunity to curse is nothing in ufsc? A skilled person won't worry fire at all.
Or when saying shadow lair armour you mean shadow lair exclusive sets, the ones that require sanctuary alchemy machine? Umm seerus mask huh? But still no special DLC guns for us. (yes I'm a gunner, 3 guns+1 sword)

It's even more useful it you lag and accidently charge in trolljan face, spank+stun+stun bug+rush combo, gunner gone. Maybe they should add another 5* antigua that deals pure piercing and has dmg vs beast medium :|

Shield cancelling+dual switch=extremely high DPS, but why nerf it? Brandish deserves a nerf too, so many rich but skilless pros in LD with their ctr vh voltedges spam the screen. Alchemer ricochets are dangerous in some situations too, ie. FSC puppy room, ricochet hit puppy=gunner gone.

In fact bombers don't even get a proper shadow damage bomb, same implies to bomber sets, elemental only? wow bombers are all gremlins, but heavy decon does normal damage, lmao.

FREAKING, GREMLIN WEAPON THAT IS BASED ON A GREMLIN TOCKER BOMB(those deal elemental) AND THEN THE DECONSTRUCTOR WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO KILL CONSTRUACTS..... ISNT ELEMENTAL???!

Indeed, that doesn't need a nerf. This design oversight needs to be fixed so it can't be exploited instead. Not to mention that it basically invites to using macro software to further exploit it.

@Diamondshreddie you must have the best conecction!!, i have a crappy one and most of the time i´m in a ping pong game with mi ping and the server making a small (but notorius) delay on the animation of attacks of creatures and the current attack, so put the old rss was a gamble. it wasn´t easier for people with bad conection and any radius bomb was more reliable
if the old rss was so easy what do you think about swords? i found the BTB charge taking a litle bit more time than the newRSS and making over 1k damage with no bonus and the nRSS deal less than 300... the third part on basicaly the same time... more quickly and safer
I was looking to you comments and looks like you are against bombers doing damage instead of support out of the battle but let me tell you thats the way YOU like play and other people like fell usefull outside as a support for other player
aside that, i see you never used the old RSS on a group of four because even with damage bonus it wasn´t making kills as effective like the DBB distributing general damage in all the area

Thats true, it took me a long time to get used to dual switch and single switch, switching requires quick shielding and switching, generally needs time and skill. I used to be a 'gun spammer' spamming every single gun I have but now I can actually decide which gun to use and combine it with other weapons creating my own unique combos, such as hail+nova, freeze I hide away AP a bit, prepare 2 guns for 2 different monster types etc. If nerfing shield switching I think shield cancelling should be removed entirely instead. According to ToS macros and scripting are illegal but I'm wondering if they are actually classifiable by OOO's system or not, I've seen people spamming over trade channel wanting people to mail instead of /tell, obviously they are using some simple 'auto enter-paste-enter' thing.
