Good Luck in whatever you try next. I have one thing to say, if you like FPS games but aren't too much of a competitive player, try out Team Fortress 2, there are a lot of people who like it, and now its free, so give it a try if you want.

Cobalt-Star, why are you basing your fun off of the community alone? There are good people out there everywhere. It won't matter what game you play, the annoying brats are always the loudest-mouths. I don't see why you would quit over that unless you actually don't like the game itself anymore. Either way, you have my best wishes. No, it's because most of the people on these forums don't give a crap about who goes or stays. That's just it, no one gives a crap, neither the devs, nor the community. And those that do are always being put down.
But sure, the OP was being overly melodramatic with his "goodbye", yet he's right about the campaign and the community. The community is what it is, and the campaign has reached the point of stagnation. At least to me. But like I said, no one cares what people think.

Simply false.
There have been plenty of "aww, sad to see you go" and "give it another chance, new content may be coming, etc." responses to quitting threads. Usually this happens where the player is well-known and/or the post is phrased in a neutral or at least non-confrontational way. You can even see this in the Bazaar forums, where you'll usually see a couple of friendly farewells despite the fact that such threads are primarily about business.
A thread like this is another matter entirely. The OP as good as said "I'm leaving because you guys suck". How are we supposed to respond warmly to that? Why should we, anyway?
