WTF!!!! the ce prices r like 9K now!!! Can SK please drop the CE PRICE PLEZZ!!!!!...the roaring ce prices r rediculous...noobs cant even get enough to make a freeken 3* with the ce prices like this without having to buy with real money!...this is rediculous...just saying but some ppl dont like spending money on this game...(i only spent less thn $30 ONLY...and thts it no more)...so please drop the ce prices OOO...
-_-...ce...ce...ce...
really??...im just trying to help the lower lvl noobs so u get out
Lol funny how they think they're the first one to post stuff like this. I mean, there are like 3 other 9k threads on the first page. And lowering ce prices? Hundreds of threads.
Ye.
Didn't.
Try.
At.
All.
Get out of our house.
Or, do ye want reasons?
I'll give all the reasons to ye.
1. Use the search bar.
2. People had already created a thousand of threads like these and we're sick of it.
3. Nick Popovich has already explained few things about the crystal energy market and they can't do anything about it but to only reason newcomers to understand the economy standards.
alright get over it >3< i dont bother useing the search bar >3< hmm!
I'll get over with if ye only graveyard the thread for all of us.
Please, and thanks.
i dont bother useing the search bar
That'll get you nowhere.
"really??...im just trying to help the lower lvl noobs so u get out"
I lol'd at that
I want to sell my energy at 10kcr. if you dont liek my prices, grab your dads credit card and buy your own.
Seriously, if you see somethign expensive at a store, do you cry to the owner so it lowers the prices just because you say so?
Guildhall upgrades = crownsinks. Mega crownsinks. Crownsinks that get even bigger as players progress, rather than smaller.
The guild hall expansions, in addition to requiring Crowns to buy, also require Upkeep, which is a Crown payment. This means that, as more guilds join the game, more crowns will be removed from it by upkeep.
Which is arguably more awesome than a battleship in a lake.
As you can see from the other comments, no one wants you here.
You probably would have gotten a little more respect if not for the massive amount of grammar and spelling errors, as well as the overuse of capitalization and exclamation points. In addition, you raised a topic that has been done time and time again, without really suggesting any solutions.
Basically, this is the text version of a temper tantrum
@Artistbma Who do you think are and talking to someone like this because he doesnt like something in the game?I find your comment offensive. You can explain him the reasons what he does wrong or if you believe this thread is stupid dont comment and it ll sent eventually to graveyard!
I saw enough comments like this...Behave better! You dont talk to a friend...
You try to act cool and mature and that you know the truth and you say get out as a comment?Really?
I am wondering how old are you....
Old enough to hit the space bar at the end of a sentence?
You... idiots.
I'm sorry but If you seriously do not understand how a free market works and how the economy is effected ( supply and demand DERP) then dont try to argue with us.
First off, the demand for CE will never go down back to what it was before. I'm done with explaining things to immature people, so I'm gonna keep it short.
Ok what are some factors on the market? Well theres:
Need CE to progress in the game
Need larger quantities as you acquire better equips
Need to play longer each game session
CE is LIMITED
CR is UNLIMITED
CR can be farmed indefinitely and easily by players who need it.
With all that in mind, As more players gain access to KoA mission/ FSC mission, there are more players getting practically 14k CR for 100 Mist energy.
In a free market, the supply and demand push towards an equilibrium, or a point where the overall average amount of CR gained by ALL the players in the market is used to buy an equivalent amount of CE value.
Basically 100 CE price should = 100Mist energy income.
Of course, its still far below, because the lower tier players gain less income on average than the player who grind FSC/KoA. The average of both is then calculated and comes out to what the price for CE is now.
And as more and more players are smarter than people who rage like this, the more that advance in the game and gather more crowns towards the overall average, driving the price up as the supply lowers with each purchase in CR.
So basically, its EVERYONES fault that the price is there. Its OOO fault for giving easier ways of income. Its ALL of the players fault for being greedy and both sides doing their best to profit maximally.
So basically, by playing the game and advancing through it, you have affected the CE market in some way, and most likely by raising the price up a bit.
And because people are like this and whine about it being too high, i support it to go ABOVE the break even point of even the best profiting players. Why? Because I like to think that if that happened, all the whiners would go crazy and just ragequit. Think thats a a bit close-minded? Well, we all have opinions, and I personally hate seeing threads concerning CE at all.
So to the OP and those that agree with him, try to make sense of what we've said, or please get out.
Graveyard this now.
Oh yes, and there's Doctor's post ( http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/64113#comment-526948 ) which shows that CE prices are very likely to drop a bit. Not because of stupid whining, but because of an economical shift where crowns are taken out of the market, and used for something else.
I'm gonna take a wild guess and say itll drop back to 8k at best. Maybe more, but idk. If its as good as it sounds, the drop will be good. I expect OOO to make it great though, so yay.
Ok Graveyard this now.
+1 to Xylka
You hit the nail right on the head
Thanks :)
I'm taking a Advanced Econ course this year in school, so I learned a bit more on Supply and Demand in depth.
I dont get get why
You guys dont care about this -.-
I mean like 9kcr for 100 ce it use to be like 2kcr
People making rage threads about ce are just reminding you its 9kcr
I mean no one seem to care.
When you see the price of ce some people rage showing that they care.
Others who finish the game and read this just ignore like saying "oh this thread again, can i have your stuff theres nothing we can do about it :3"
I mean why cant you be nice and try to do something about itl. Like sell ce for lower price :3( i know some of you may have done that)
Or someone is quitting people are like "can i have your stuff, i dont know you so i dont care"
So imstead of sYaying that why cant people show respect that someone is leaving -.-
I mean this is a mmo game multiplayer and all..when did it turn into grinding money "who is the richest person"
"lets raise the ce price so no one can have fun" game
Just saying :3
Graveyard NOW! Not only because the OP is just totally raging, not even that his/hers grammar and spelling are horrible, it's that we the players can actually just give feedback, not totally stupid rage threads that in all reality lower whoever's IQ that reads these.
@Qever
Ah, the old "You're underage" attack. Hehe. Now lets think a moment.
This guy could've used the search bar, found another 9k thread and posted all his thoughts on it. But no, he didn't. He wasted a line of the forums posting an unneeded/unwanted thread.
And as a result of that blunder, we are telling him what he should do in a situation such as this. He should use the search bar.
I rest my case.
Probably someone said it already but...
IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!!!! XD
I think this man says it like it is :
http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/64177
However on another sidenote, while rage threads are not particularly bad, the people that make them tend to make not one, but several usually in the timespan of 5-10 min. This in its turn pushes all the good/helpfull/creative threads down and thats when people get annoyed, because they open the general forums and only see rage threads the first 5 - 10 rows. I personally don't mind people raging, because the subject is somthing which dissapoints many many new players, and I believe that cusomers have the right to be dissapointed, if they don't then there is no real freedom of speech and choise in this game, only hypocrits. I am but lucky to be a bit older of a player and to have gotten all my 3* gear back when ce was 6,5 k cr ;3.
So no we don't hate rage threads, but the people that make them usually spam and make them for rather selfish wishes because they feel they are entitled to cheap/free stuff, which they are not. I became an accomplished player because i took time to understand how the game and the market that came along with it works, but alot of theese people making rage threads do not want to do so but just want to consume. This can damage these types individuals both in real life decisions as ingame, because they ride on impulses rather than logical toughts.
Apologies for the spelling errors i might have overlooked
and a fine day to you :3,
@Night-Rove
Go back and read my other post to show WHY we dont care.
To sum it up, complaining about it and trying to tell people to lower the price will literally do nothing at all. That's just how the market works.
I'm not going to go back and state everything in my other post, but basically, its impossible to make it go back to 2kCE now. Why? Because if it did, there would be no CE left at all, since everyone can buy it indefinitely and easily with grinding Vana in 1 day. Heck its actually at a stable equilibrium right now, and if it did drop. you still wouldn't be able to purchase anything because the rich players would buy it all up before you could.
Think about it. 14k cr, or 2 KoA/FSC runs now, gets you 200CE at the current price, assuming ou played it off of mist. Now if it was at 2k, ANYONE with the FSC mission could just buy 700CE PER DAY without wasting a cent. And because CE is limited, that means there'd be less of it, and the sellers would want to profit as much as they could off of the demand. Even if the sellers didn't want to profit, they would run out of money to spend buying CE to sell, and have none left, and the players that are "noobs" as you people are calling them, will probably have about 100CE bought before the market ran out.
In this type of market, ther is just no way its going to go back down unless missions were removed, there was a huge crown sink, or the most profitable levels were nerfed.
Luckily for you, the Guildhall update is a massive crown sink, and will probably drop the price down to 8k, 7.5k if you're lucky and this is twice as good as we all expect it to be.
You may care for the newer players saying its tough, but no matter what, even if EVERYONE on the forums and in game tried, the market would just not lower the price. And hey, its tough for newbies in EVERY game. Heck even I hated when the price skyrocketed the first time, but you just gotta learn the game as you play it. The Market is just one of those things that favors the experienced players, and OOO was kind enough to keep it out of newbies lives until they can farm RJP to break even with the price (just do the 2 floors over and over on mist only). Pretty much, by 3* you should know what to do to profit, and how to have fun and still manage your Energy.
Just wait until the guildhall update arrives. and GET RID OF THIS THREAD PLEASE.
@Night-Rove
As an extension on Xylka's explanation about potential CE shortages, check out this page
@to those who cared for the ce prices being so high
If ye guys cared, then it should have been remedied by Three Rings. But it didn't.
If ye remember this from the RadioSEGA, then this is yer answer.
RS: Will crystal prices ever go down and are you planning some sort of permanent price or some sort of way to keep people from buying so much?
(Question by blackshadow)
Nick: Exchange prices are driven by the community, Three Rings does not directly alter it in any way. But we're always looking to introduce new reasons for players to sink crystal energy and crowns into the economy.
If Nick Popovich stated that he will do something for the economy standards, he would have do so long ago. So please understand.
This is just stupid. STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT CE PRICES. YOU DON'T LIKE THE PRICES? THEN YOU DO SOMETHING, NOT US.
"WTF!!!! the ce prices r like 9K now!!! Can SK please drop the CE PRICE PLEZZ!!!!!...the roaring ce prices r rediculous...noobs cant even get enough to make a freeken 3* with the ce prices like this without having to buy with real money!...this is rediculous...just saying but some ppl dont like spending money on this game...(i only spent less thn $30 ONLY...and thts it no more)...so please drop the ce prices OOO...HING ABOUT IT, NOT US. '
You act like a noob. -______-
Benightz, we already established that.
@Princeberton/Artistbma and Thunderbog
Thanks you.
Can someone maybe copy and paste stuff like this into a .rtf or something so we dont have to type all the time?
Still seeing this in General Discussion
Why dont people OFFER to buy 2kcr for 100ce
So people Who sell ce either Farm for crowns or trade them for ce.If people Just wait for some time Hopefully People Selling ce will buy 2kcr :3
Its like Refusing to buy ce and offer to buy at lower price it just takes a little patients.
I know this might not be a great idea But what do you think?
If you suddenly sell a wall of CE offers of just 2k, it would just be devoured right away, and it would go back to the drawing board. Really, even a huge wall of 500CE packs wouldn't last longer than 2 minutes. Only effective solution would be to stop making the CE so dependable on the game, and yes, I'm looking after the crafting feature.
as xylka CE is limited and cr is infinite (to a certain extent)
but also in addition CE has 'value' because money was paid for the CE
CR has no 'value' apart from the time people invest into earning it
so when someone is starting, their 2 hours of time and 100 mist may only earn them 5kcr
while someone who has FSC/KoA under their belt can earn 14kcr with the same time and mist.
also you have to take into consideration that this is a virtual economy as well, and there are special features that make it a little different to real life economies.
Because CE costs money, it has value. Instead of buying CE the customer can use if for other things (not related to SK).
however CR has no intrinsic value, (apart from the opportunity cost of the time spent earning it?)
so effectively the ce/cr ratio is the value people place on their time.
I wish there was a sticky post at the top of general thread about the energy prices.
Lolol xylka xD
I read your post crystal clear =]
Again ce is limited...so people buy ce from people selling it.
But if it continues to rise (as people stated it will never go down)
How will new players be able to craft with just 100 mist they will just none stop grind -.-
So any solution about it xylka?
They will just non-stop grind.
But do this: pretend it is YOU that is selling the CE. Ok, so you sell it for 8k, then 9k, then 10k. Then lets say an item shows up on AH that you really really want, but you don't have enough cr for it... Ok, you're gonna wanna sell more CE than usual, but OH NOES, there's a line of 10000x ppl selling CE for 10k/100ce (or higher). One way to get your sales faster would be to UNDER CUT the other sellers. So maybe you post yours for 9.5k cr. Does that make sense? The market regulates itself over time.
it's just added pressure, and a certain amount works in favor of 3 rings.
if it's taking longer and longer to earn crystal energy, then some of these people will think their time is worth more than the money, and pull out their credit cards to buy some crystal energy.
do you really want to hear suggestions for fixing the 'problem'?
because from the many energy threads the 'solutions' to the problem would cause 3 rings to lose money and force them to go out of business, meaning no game at all.
the ONLY solution to this problem that I can see that benefits players and developers is to add more content.
and I'm sure the developers understand that too.
of course the more substantial the content the better for the game.
and with all things, content takes longer to make than consume.
many games take years to make and weeks to clock.
So, that's the solution, add more content.
do you want me to explain why the other 'solutions' don't work and why this one works?
Get Out.
