In the jelly is still alive and kicking. Not as active as we used to be but we're here. We have been around since beta. :D
A tribute to fallen guilds
Um was it pinkblobkirby who Made runs with scissor...
I think it was her or someone told me that..
Hehe i guess im getting wrong info.
Viral: a 3* and up guild that was barely known(oh, the irony)
Spiral Marines: a large guild that somehow came to fall apart, I was a GM in the middle and after the downfall trying to built it back up, didn't succeed :(
Lockdown Loons: a small guild made soon after the release of Lockdown, didn't get very far
Unity: B/c it is lacking in 1 Cootiecakes : c
EoS: died when Provi was given GM powers and kicked everyone D :
Red Bull: I donno i remember seeing them last summer. I haven't seen it for a while but the name was cool.
Finesse, the Legendary lockdown players.
I think they never lost a lockdown match? Just once I think and because they had a man down.
Echo of silence? Or sausage?
History is FUN!.
lol.
Corps was indeed awesome, ~_~ Taking a break due to lack of content :P. I'll immediately be back once the next update is applied until then, TF2! *Flies away* Also I wonder how many players today still remember CE being 2500cr XP.
during steam weekend. I think that was the cheapest i've ever experienced. My god was it glorious, too.
Ahem... KaD is still alive. (knights and day)
That is all.
What Blitz said.
Also, Red Cross/Order of the Cross died back in May-ish, 2011, as far as I remember.
I want to pay a special tribute to 'Big Black Guildo'. They will be sorely missed and shall forever hold a special place in my heart.
I wish Team Rocket had been active enough to be noticed for something like this, haha.
Also, Knights of Equestria was pretty big for a while. I dunno if they were ever any GOOD though but I remember seeing that name around a lot.
I saw some dudes from Team Dai Gurren not long ago.
Guild has not disappeared, by the way. I still log in a few times a week. Also, Magnus is in no way affiliated with the guild and hasn't been for some time. He is the main reason it is in its current condition, though not due to inactivity.
rip hat simulator and knightmare
skelly jellies will live on in our souls and in our lunch
Redbull back when I played seemed to be a decent guild I don't think they're around nor do they probably have the friendly members as they did.
Cheers to SK though.
I created the guild as a response to some really questionable/silly ordering around from the GM of a guild called Order of Cross/Order of crossB2. (Isn't this always the case? Rage rage online rage... lol. Those of you who know me will probably laugh hearing this.)
I gave my GM power to another friend, Becca likes to not be the main person in charge. Friends joined and we had a lot of fun. We were noobs together, happy with cobalt armor and excited to craft our first levi (*ok, maybe that was just me...). We got pretty big and had some fun players who were also really good at the game. Clockwork Renegades died because the main officers got busy with real life stuff and took a break from the game. (**Cough** Becca too). I logged in one day after a month absence and found myself guildless, only to discover that the person I left in charge of the guild kicked everyone and dissolved the group.
I found out that Trying had recreated the guild and was happy for him. I found my way to EOS, and am happy to be a "forever recruit".
Clockwork renegades isn't dead in one sense, but it definitely isn't the same. I still have friends floating around sk who still play. Some in EOS, (YUKA YUKA YUKA YUKA), some in CR and Unity. Don't know which Guild Fallconn and Bulby are in, crazy brothers...
It wasn't a big name guild but it was home. We had fun.
If anyone cares.
<3 Becca
I remember Hat simulator got big- Anyone want to write a post about them be glad to add them
Afk- as well
@Dirt: I'm very curious about what happend in there. I've only read Magnus's point of view.
I remember when I was a little ash tail, and a wild Exileddread would appear in PVP, and kill everybody, getting 30k+ damage per game.. and that was before the scoring system was changed to make games longer.....
R.I.P. Finesse!! I only knew like 2 of their players (3 including Hadn) but I hear you guys were ALL lockdown pros. and I believe it.
/cry
/bawl my eyes out
/I need a LD tutor

^
If any of the TDG members can go online, I'd like to apply. :) My last hurrah for Ender. :)
I am still on... but due to sheer inactivity I moved to rogue knights... still a TDG at the core, it's just without anyone running it... yeah...
Wonder if Greenlocust is having the same issues Dark and Vincey are...
Edit: Vincey and Dark, try pulling all files remotely related to SK, Java included. See if you can't get it reinstalled that way I suppose. I'd love to see that you guys came back on. Miss ya guys.
miss y'all too
also: our guild's so old school that you guise don't even have forum pics! @w@
that's how we did it back then i guess :c
Rest in peace, dear old Hat Simulator. 'twas fun while it lasted, but it was a damn shame you had to die the way you did.
Hat Sim was a fun loving group, nobody cared too much on being super pros. Just a bunch of friends hoping to have a bit of fun and mess around. And a bit of skelly-jelly on the side.
We liked joking around lots, and I think that's what the appeal was to some people. We weren't too serious. For me, it was how close we all were. Sure, we didn't do anything special aside from Skelly Jelly flash mobs with Knightmare, but it was still an enjoyable experience.
I miss my co-gm position there, for sure. I miss the fun we had. I miss the people.
It's just a barren wasteland there of inactive members, including Doctahwahwee himself. (Though he told me he's willing to shell out his Darkfang Sheild for a hefty price in cash.)
It was never the same again after HE went at Doc's throat.
I am the last remnant of the Gung Ho Guns. A guild around since the beta. the first guild I was apart of in any game. we helped each other so much. sadly i'm not the guild leader and I can't boot everyone and start from scratch.
Just to let you know, Eeks and I have formed a new guild by merging Delicious Bacon and The Ascendicate.
Coalesce was born on September 14th!
Gunslinger Priests?
Gunslinger Priests died?
It's not entirely dead, the 'core' of the guild namely myself, BHM and Vandergant are still around, although at this point we're sub 30 members and a lot of greater players we've had have left the game entirely, plus the other two Guild Masters besides myself are basically inactive (Rock comes on if we nag him enough but he doesn't really 'play' anymore).
That being said as a 'guild' we may as well be dead, activity has been on a downward spiral ever since Shadow Keys. That update alone took out half the guild more or less including myself, I only returned to the game when an old friend whom everyone in the guild had actually thought died when he just stopped contact with people came back and I got back into the game too for old times sake and because of EU servers and WinterFest decided to pick-up my position of Officer again and stick around for the new year. Sadly the general lack of any meaty content updates over the following months, on top of endless CE promos put just about everyone off. From the introduction of Shadow Keys up until the introduction of Operation Crimson Hammer (First real new content since SL, also put behind a paywall) basically 80% of the guild quit the game. Activity picked up a bit more recently thanks to Danger Missions, but really it's too little too late since just about everyone had already quit.
Right now we have 26 members, less than 20 have played in September. It makes me sad since having been around since the guild's inception I've seen many incredible people come and go through the guild, but at the end of the day they'ved moved on to other games and if by the end of the year updates haven't picked up I'll probably follow their example. That said I think I speak for most of us a guild when I say that regardless of the state the game is in now, I wouldn't have exchanged the time spent on it for the world; as a guild we brought together a lot of awesome people, some extraordinarily good at the game and others only decent, but a couple bad apples aside the guild has by far been one of the friendliest and most enjoyable guilds in the game.
Gunslinger Priests?-heard of them but don't know if they were prominent at all.
Back in the introduction of Blast Network and Lockdown we were on the leaderboards pretty constantly despite having less than half as many members as most of the other guilds in similar positions, and there are several great players from the guild whom gained recognition elsewhere like Blueflood. Although as a general rule outside of Guild vs Guild we were never really in the lime light for lack of reason to be, we're a civil guild that doesn't get into arguments that naturally draw attention and bar me making videos mostly for entertainment purposes no one in the guild really goes around saying 'hey look at us'. That and we rarely had much direct cross-over with other guilds; many of our members came into the guild without having been in other larger guilds and most that left just quit the game and haven't gone elsewhere (Unlike Blueflood or Mhmok). The end result is because of that somewhat inclusive nature, we never drew all too much attention, although honestly I can't really say it's a bad thing.
Anywho long post aside, it's crazy to think about guilds like Guild and Knightmare being dead. It's been that way for so long that you just adjust to it, but when you stop and think that new players coming into the game and posting on the forums will only hear of them and their ludicrous forum arguments via "legend" it's almost saddening. Not that I miss them overtaking whole forum subsections with obnoxious nonsense, it's a pretty prominent indicator that an "era" of Spiral Knights has passed. At some point, someone should really go around the community and tally up how many beta players are actually still playing the game.
Order of Venus, anyone?
More story time.
Haven't seen them around for a while.
I was in oov for a while, when rhip left it lost lots of members. Kyored tried to rebuild it he kept it up for sometime then he took a break.
After that he left oov, and everyone left too. Ask kyored he knows more than me....but i think he quit or is playing on the asian server.
I'm used to it, Trying.
I never knew you created it Becs! For what its worth though I did ask permission from Shogunokc before recreating it though.
Did everyone forget about APATHY???? they are not dead for sure, but definitely have lost their mojo, Hadn.
Rhip tried to preserve OoV by making them merge into Dark Guardians. Many of the former OoV members are there.
Kyored is inactive and hasn't been online for a while, but the last time I saw him he was in Impervious.
OoV is gone, and in its place shall be Dark Guardians. DG is not dirtying the name Order of Venus. I hope it'll continue to be that way.
-Fetin (Backwards)
:)
OOV - Just got invitation from July-Zerg, aka Rhip. (He's rebuilding it?)
Knightmare - I still see Aeiouy and Kenny around.
http://imgur.com/ARZn6 1st time, in my entire SK career seeing 3 bars, for merely 3 seconds. >:c
Does anyone remember Order of Cross? That was my first guild and I don't know where they are....
ANYWAYS! AFK was my next guild after I came back (left for 6 months). They taught me well about PvE and I enjoyed that guild very much. Then Impervious but they're still alive.
I remember Aurora being pretty big, it was my first guild and tons of fun. Left it when I created my new account but I like the peeps.
Order of cross died along with OOCb2 and all the other variations. Kind of imploded on itself really.
I don't know if king plays anymore or anyone else, haven't seen them on in a really long time.
Becca
Kingdomslayer comes on very rarely, the last time I've seen him was around a month ago. He was in clockwork renegades last time I checked so I guess he's one of those people who just waits for an update. Thanks for the input!
This thread is still going strong. Anyways still working on my Tribute to Fallen knights thread.
i made apost like this after the 1 year anniversary except i was wanting info about everything....
anyways,
FNBN is kinda dead (was never a big guild but id seen them around when i was a wolver)
hobos ( resistance took in the actives only to have them fall inactive with us we all miss u pris!!!!!!!)
had a friend in "luminous"
i think there was a "chaos end" or something, they had a sister guild i get both names mixed up...
was there a guild called "oblivion"?
i think i saw a stargate guild somewhere
thats all i can remember aside from all the ones said
resistance is still kinda active (american school season kills activity pretty good)
Broke down when I left.
And then all the hate and malice the gm's gave me pratically ruined it. YOU HAD ANOTHER CHANCE, YOU KNOW AND YOU BLEW IT!
Dig Bicks. Best name ever.
They unfortunately had to disband and change their name due to a GM request. :(
With that in mind, I saw a few Gock Cobblers in the very very early days of this game. :B
The old inactive original GM of AFK, Captaincorn, recently came back and tried rebuilding AFK in a new guild called Still Too Obvious. I couldn't be coaxed away from Impervious, but from what I gather it hasn't really taken off. Anyways, the original AFK was great. /wave Mightyputty.
I'm glad this post is still going, I expected it to die out in all honesty, but threads like these are much better than the rage threads that are so commonly posted
@Night-Rove My Guild Runs with Scissors is still alive, we add new people every week. Where do you get your info?
