I was just messing with my imagination, thinking about phantoms. I thought "What would a giant phantom be like, I wonder?" And I decided to make this a suggestion.

So the room is a huuuuuuuge straight hallway, maybe 8 tiles wide and like over nine thousand long. Near where you enter, there is a part button. When everyone is on the button, there's a cutscene of a door closing behind you and a door closing on the other end of the hallway. While the camera is at the opposite end you're on, you're in the point of view of something flying toward you. Then it zooms out a bit, and you can see it looks like a phantom in fairy/orb form. Then it flashes and turns into a giant phantom looking creature, which roars. Still in the cutscene, it walks toward your party and picks up the last person to join, and eats that knight. If you're the only knight, it does not eat you. It roars again. Back to you.

If you're one who's been eaten, you now control the giant phantom thing. Shielding turns you into fairy/orb form. Your attack consists of a 5 swing combo, the first attack smashing the ground with a downward slash, an upward slash, a stab into the ground, another upward slash, then you stomping. The upward slashes start at the ground. Your charge attack is a strong upward slash while jumping up, then landing with a ground-crushing downward slash, like heavy weapons. Your weapon is a striker-like sword, like normal phantoms, and it's the only one you have.

Here's the way it/you is defeated. The rest of your party must hit it's feet like a ton of times. It then falls to the ground, where you can beat up it's head. Repeat about twice, then it spits you out, grabs the second-to-last knight to join the party, and eats him/her. Now THAT knight controls the Soul Eater. Repeat this until it's eaten every knight. After it spits out the knight who started the party, it acts by itself. It's defense and attack are buffed, and he summons some normal size phantoms. Then you beat his butt.

Now, if you're Luguiru, you're probably thinking "All you have to do if you're controlling it is sit there while your party is beating it up." Well, I thought about that. The Soul Eater will be shielded if it has not attacked in the general direction of a knight in the past 3 seconds, so you will HAVE to fight your own party to beat the boss.

When finally defeated, it drops a Soul Stone, a token. Here's a list for what you can get with them from Brinks:

1. Cursed Edge: A weapon that looks mostly like a phantom's sword. I will not list stats right now, but it has a slight chance of causing minor curse, but only with the charge attack or third hit. Acts like a normal-weight weapon, like good ol' Calibur. The charge attack is similar to a Calibur as well. Does shadow damage, and is 4*. Costs 20 Soul Stones.

2. Cursed Crossbow: A gun that looks a bit like a Sentenza, but redder. It is also horizontal, not vertical, and has a crossbow "string." It has a somewhat low speed and shoots two bullets. The charge attack is also similar to the Blaster guns, but has a bigger explosion. Has a slight chance to cause minor curse, but only on the second and charge attack. It does shadow damage, and is 4*. Costs 20 Soul Stones.

3. Cursed Dynamite: A bomb similar to a vaporizer. Has a slight chance of causing minor curse. It does shadow damage, and is 4*. Costs 15 Soul Stones.

That's all I can think of right now. Feedback appreciated :D

Nurp.

"Now, if you're Luguiru, you're probably thinking"

That I would rather be on Wakfu than reading this? That would be true almost all the time anyway.

"The Soul Eater will be shielded if it has not attacked in the general direction of a knight in the past 3 seconds, so you will HAVE to fight your own party to beat the boss."

Or the enemy could not be player controlled to begin with. It would be impossible to abuse a system if you never control it to begin with. The whole mission is basically one of those Amnesia halls. If you want to play Amnesia go play Amnesia.

The sword is GFaust combined with Calibur, but without the chance to curse yourself on the charge. It also has a pure specialized damage. No.

The gun tries to combine Valiance line with Magnus or something then lazily glues curse somewhere on the side. Is this art class in elementary school now?

The bomb is so obviously unbalanced that I could be urinating out a window and be more sensible than I am for reading this again.

Unrelated note: I am going to procrastinate updating the "T4+" fiend stuff over there because some of the stuff today has given me the usual headaches. Maybe tomorrow. Too much stupid going on today.

Nothing escapes you, does it? Should've know my post wasn't Luguiru-proof. I might change this bit, so you can actually +1 this. And about the player controlling it, I wanted to add something somewhat original. And I've never Amnesia, so I have no idea what you're talking about.

...

I see a flaw.

What if... you're the phantom thingy...

You just ran around just so the party can beat the boss. And you attack occasionally so you wouldn't be in shield form. FLAW REALIZED.

/e waits for a reply.

@Abyssal-Flamberge

I put in the OP that you have to attack in the general direction of a knight for your shield to go down.

I WILL EAT YOUR

I WILL EAT YOUR SOOOOOUL!!!1
AND IT WILL TASTE LIKE MAYONNAISE!
MAYONNAISE I TELL YOU!!!!1

Don't ask where I got it, heard a friend say it a few years back.

Now to logical things...
Curse bomb is way to OP unless you add a high chance of cursing yourself when you use it. Because curse is just that good.
No wait, all of these should have a chance of curse on the charge attack. But then the sword is just a fast version of the GF. Then we should make a slow/fast version of all the weapons that exist. (not really)

I like the gun, kinda the bomb (this is coming from a MAD bomber), not really the sword. (kinda unnecessary)

If we could change the bomb into being a pure shadow (or split normal) blast-bomb-like bomb that would be fine.

With the boss mechanics....eww

Even with the shield:
1. Person doesn't attack /sleep trolololololo
2. Oooops, looks like I missed!

Just take out the player control thing....It's really messy...

You cant avoid abuses.
-I can simply attack a shielded guy while the rest of the party shoots me. When shield breaks, switch positions.
-I can purposdely stand 1 tile away of a player with a gun. I'll be swinging in his direction, but out of range.
-I can yell WATCH OUT, to warn teammates when I'll attack.
-I can lag/dissconnect/afk.
-I can troll around, never attack and screw the party.
-I can kick the guy/go solo.
-I can play with an alt adn have total control of the situation.

But more importantly, you put players in a bad spot. They have to kill their teammates, and in the process, lose the chance of getting the rewards (party gets defeated everyone goes to haven). They cannot win.
