Alts on Steam and Kongregate

Long story short, I do not want to switch my main account to Steam or Kongregate, because I don't want to be forever (and ever and ever) attached to that website.
I'm wondering, can I attach alternate accounts (not knights, accounts) to them, and keep my main account on SK?

I've noticed ye've been putting all the threads about discussions, but it'll be even more easy if ye could sum it all up in one thread. Sounds nice?
The actual reason why I posted this is because some threads revisited might go left behind. (some good threads have feelings too)
Ye might wanna look onto Fehzor's Blog for instance.

If I put all my questions in 1 thread, it'd turn into the "40 questions" thread, so no. I'm not looking forward to getting laughed at because I am new.
Plus, some questions arise from others.
I had to know steam sucks before I wanted to know about kongregate
I had to know kongregate locks you in before I wanted to know about alts
Now that I know I can put my alts there, I may have questions, but what those questions are, I don't know yet.

Did not know ANYTHING about playing though steam prior to asking.
How would you have re-organized my threads? I don't see a better way than the way I did it unless I go back and change the topic title and keep bumping it.

Ye aren't a troll if ye confess that ye're definitely a fresh starter.
But, some of the fresh starters can use the search bar to check anything that has been recently posted as well.
Spiral Knights Wiki also have various of knowledge which ye could learn.
The outdated, but maybe still useful, Eurydice's Useful Guide for New Knights is still another kind of knowledge, but old threads that have people not caring it anymore will stay below, never touch them, but read them as records.
For questions unanswered, feel free to post 'if' ye think that ye haven't seen people asking such question before.

The reality is that now that I've asked my questions, I don't have any. I'm always willing to read the wiki and do searches, but some things, I either don't know how to search (like this, unsure what words to search to not get a bunch of garbage) or information is not very clear (like on CE, which I eventually figured out)
I'm trying to think of any questions I actually DO have...
One, and I'm pretty sure I do know the answer, is "If I pay to buy some CE on my alt, can I get a third alt with an independent mist bar?" and I'm pretty sure the answer is "yes" so I wouldn't ask until I did this and the answer was no. I may do this and hook up the alts to Steam and Kongregate so I can have the full range of SK experiences.
Another would be where to get recipes, but I'm pretty sure I know that a swell - the Hall of Heroes, the Auction House, and the Recipes thread.
Another is what commands are available to a guild master, but I'd look at the wiki if I was *that* curious, as the commands I see in the game are pretty self explanatory (but less than I thought there'd be)
The next "question" in my mind would relate to fan art and I will ask it shortly in the proper forum.
