[Solarium and Aurorae] 5* Spurs- Artwork Included!

boop.

Okay so, it's time that the Winmilion gets an upgrade. In my mind it's a wonderful weapon that deserves to be upgraded soon.

Let's start off with the basic ideas

"A mechanical sword imbued with the same energy that powers the "sun" in the Aurora Isles. Starting directly at it isn't a very bright idea"

The damage type would be elemental.

Simple Attack
---

The simple three swing combo would throw a disc, it would go a little farther than a Winmillion's would.

Solarium's energy would be a bright yellow/white hue, while Aurorae's would be a purple/white hue.

Charged Attack
---

The charge attack would be like the Divine Avenger's, it launches three discs forward.

This sword path is pretty cool. All it takes to upgrade it to a final form is just a re-skin and stat boost.

omg those are awesome! but

omg those are awesome! but what about a Normal Line :c? because what i liked of this sword its the normal damage. c: anyway i like your idea about 5 star spur.

I thought it was obvious.

The first involves making Spur lines that involve knockback and projectile interference, the other makes Spur into the craziest slaughtering tool of murdering everyone and all their families forever until the world is cut into convenient cube shapes and served at your next dinner party. With the little toothpicks in them. Will there be fine wines at the party? Is it formal attire? You know I hate having to wear normal shoes when I can walk around barefoot and kick people in the f- Wait, that never happens when I go to parties.

Since when does the asylum let me to go parties?

Great idea Cobby since Beta I been waiting for them to do something with the Winimillon been 1 of my favorite swords in this game for sure. With that said I seen a bit of suggestions for new possible gear in this game, but have to say this idea seems to be the easiest 2 implement and is not 2 far fetched as most.

The active threads are about Spurs, or charge attacks. This is a new thread because it is an original idea unrelated to those specific discussions. S'the whole point of suggestions board; have a new thread for each new idea, so support can be shown and rallied individually.

@Aotr:
Doesn't mean it's not worth throwing out new ideas and artwork. Many suggestions have been implemented, some of which received no attention from the Devs no the forums. If they see the idea and like it, they'll consider it. If it's never there, they won't see it, will do nothing.

@Cobby:
Only thing I'd say is to edit the OP and format it up a bit; the post is just a bit too big/hard to read and could be much more succinct and visually pleasing. Just for the sake of all the tl;dr'rs and skim-readers. Never hurts to make it easier for everyone to glance at; more reads, more approval, more awesome! :D

There's a reason why we all use the DA. It's not for the damage, which could be easily surpassable in DPS with any 5star version of the brandish. It's not even for the wide swing, although that does help quite a bit while being chased by a mob of slags. It's for the charge attack. The charge attack of the DA is a unique attack, and it is quite the handy tool when you need mob control. If you were to add this to the "solarium" and "aurorae" then the DA will eventually begin to die out. DA is quite useful when you are soloing FSC, as it is capable of hitting 3 slags at once. However, if you have a glacius, then there will be no real point to DA besides its charge attack. The glacius is capable of about 670 dps, while the DA only 442 (I saw this somewhere, forgot where). Now, since I have a glacius, the only reason I keep the DA with me is for mob control. I mean, the charge attack is really something when all the slags are lined up in a passageway. However, the new charge attack proposed for the 5* versions of the win million will register DA to be completely useless

I'm lost; why are you talking about slow swords? These are 5* suggestions for the Winmillion; he's not suggestion a change in the mechanics at all.

@Apophis-Set, Hmm, Does the leviathan Blade make the FoV useless? Does the Nitronome make the DBB useless? Does the Deadly Shard Bomb make the other shard bombs useless? (Okay, that was a bad example, all shard bombs are pretty much useless.

The FoV is kept and used mainly for the charge attack. However, in FSC, most things are immune to fire, so Levi does come in handy, since it can also be used in casual combat. The nitronome is pure normal damage, while the DBB does piercing, and so is more useful on beasts/fiends

+1, but a suggestion

Aurora needs a charge attack more similar to that of the blades used by Phantoms. 3 orbs, no overlap, and much less KB.
Solarium needs to keep the basic "large disc" charge that the rest of the family has. Also, I'd suggest a rename, as "Sol-ar-i-um" are not four syllables that exactly roll off the tongue.

Also, I'd probably go with making the swords split normal/"special" damage, just so that they don't move too far away from the rest of the family. Preferably higher normal than their secondary damage type.
