Currently, withdrawing from the mist well will fill up one's mist bar with no choosing on the amount of mist withdrawn.
However, there are many times where we don't need the full 100 mist. Sometimes, we just need an extra 10-20 mist so that we can travel further 1-2 depths in the clockworks.
Please give us the option to choose what amount of mist we draw from the mist well. Thank you.
Yes, it matter because i need to go (sleep and stuff) after completing the last run of the day.
Then go and ragecraft something and donate it to the warehouse if it has no UV/not the UV you wanted. Or donate it even if it has a good UV, since it's someone elses mist :)
Sayin' that, I wasn't aware that it auto filled your tank, since I haven't used it myself yet. I just presumed that it would have an option to take as much as you need, so don't see a problem with this being implemented.
Stop forcing me to do things that i don't want to do.

With your permission, I wouldn't mind adding this to my GH V2 Update thread under Mist wells. I have other regulation set up there already, but was unaware that you had to fill your tank when you withdrew mist.
