About LoG and features:
The League of Gunners was founded in November 2012 with the aim of creating a guild dedicated for gunslingers. We are neither a PvP or PvE guild, and will support both gameplay styles. We welcome those new to Spiral Knights as well as veterans of SK, and as of March 2013 we have at least 100 active members in the guild. Core features of the guild are:

Crown loans to help you advance and level up your gear quicker

Requirements to join:
Playing style:
We want you to mainly use guns as part of your playing style. Of course, swords and bombs are by no means forbidden – we will definitely welcome hybrids such as swunners and gombers.

Gear and Tier:
We recommend that you have obtained 3* gear (Tier 2), or better and specifically we refer to the Gunslinger Set or a Seerus mask, so that once you reach 5* your gun bonuses will shine. Your arsenal should have guns, but obviously that doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to have other types of weapons too! If you’re still in Tier 1, you’re also welcome – and we encourage you to become a full-fledged gunslinger once you get better gear.

Rules
There is a list of rules in the guild currently, but the basic rules of the guild are:

1. No begging for materials, crowns, CE, or promotions
2. Be respectful and polite towards fellow guild members, and don't try to profiteer off of them.
3. 3 weeks of inactivity will earn you a temporary kick from the guild unless you notify GMs and officers ahead of time.

Promotion and Member Guidelines
Recruits are those who have recently joined the guild.
Next are members. These are recruits who have shown LoG their interest in the guild, are active enough, and are fairly skilled in combat. They should stay in the guild for at least a week and have Tier 2 gear
Veterans will be members who have also gained access to Tier 3, have stayed in LoG long enough, are fairly active, and are also respected among other members. They should stay in the guild for 2 weeks and complete the guild's veteren test
Officers are veterans who will be handpicked by the Guild Master to help with the Guild’s logistics, such as invitations, settling disputes, and helping other guild members.

1. Why are you a gunner? I messed around with bombs and swords for a little while, and I just found that in both cases I was far too liable to be damaged. The most fun I've had so far was stumbling into the first floor of Royal Jelly Palace with a friend, both of us with only Cobalt Armor, a Blaster and a Brandish. We kited our way to victory with the blasters, and it was the biggest rush of the game for me so far. I want more moments like that.

2. What guns do you currently own that are 3* and higher? None, unfortunately. I have a recipe for a Magnus which I plan on making soon and upgrading to a Callahan eventually. I also plan on grabbing a Shadowtech Alchemer and an Antigua at some point, to craft into an Argent.

3. How long have you been on SK? Nearly a week now.

4. How active are you on SK? I've played a fair bit each day, I tend to be on to spend my energy, and usually buy more to keep on playing.

5. What other guilds were you in if any? None so far.

6. What are your expectations from the guild? I hope to find some friendly people to play with, and hopefully learn the noble ways of gunpowder and lead.

1) Why am I a gunner? I Played for a short amount of time with swords, and found that they were not the weapons for me. After further experimenting, i found that I Enjoyed kiting Mobs around a lot Such as in the Royal Jelly palace (I was with Bowl Soldier).

2)What guns do I own that are 3* and higher? Currently I have none. I am currently using a blaster and a Shadowtech alchemer but I wish to replace the Blaster with a Magnus as soon as I can as I have the recipe just not enough energy.

3)How long have you been on SK? Just about a week.

4) How active are you? I Play for a few hours a day, spending my energy and often buying more energy with my crowns.

5) What other guilds were you in? I was in a guild, Brotherhood of Steel, but left due to the guild being highly inactive.

1. Why are you a gunner? I used to be a sworder, but because I was losing too much health in battles I decided to switch to gunner, because we can do damage at a range.

2. What guns do you currently own that are 3* and higher? Blackhawk, Gigawatt Pulsar, Master Blaster, Voltech Alchemer Mk2, Strike Needle, and Antigua.

3. How long have you been on SK? I've been playing since October 2011, but I stopped for a while 'till my friend (IGN: Xxpapaya) re-introduced it to me in April 2012.

4. How active are you on SK? I'm currently in school right now, so I only play on weekends. I occasionally play on weekdays as well if I've finished all homework, though.

I started the game as a swordie. After 6-7 months of Brandish/Calibur charge spamming, I realised that it was not really fun and tried some other weapons, such as Flourish. After mastering the swords, I tried the 2* fire haze in RJP 1st floor. I remember I was really surprised that how it cleared the area so fast and eventually became a bomber. Bombing was really fun that I never regretted having vendored all my 4* clone stuff. However, bombing in PvP is a pain in the ass, so I built a gunner loadout for this purpose. Then I used it in PvE... Well I didn't sold my bombing stuff this time, I deleted my account and quit the game for 1,5 months and now I am back.

2. What guns do you currently own that are 3* and higher?

Shadowtech and Firotech, looking forward to add something else than alchemers.

3. How long have you been on SK?

Since Feb 2012.

4. How active are you on SK?

Less than before, but still frequently I guess.

5. What other guilds were you in if any?

A guild my current is fun but the problem is that i log on at 9pm my time and don't find any one logging on and my guild before this was like a military camp and not a guild. 1. Why are you a gunner?

I personally chose to be a gunner because I love dancing around the battlefield and killing my enemies with style and finesse. Rather than getting up in my enemies' faces and facetanking them, I prefer to snipe at a distance and dodge my enemies' attacks. When one watches a swordsman fight, they see a brute powering through their enemies mindlessly. When one watches a gunner fight, they see an artist at work.

In all seriousness, I am always ranged in hack n slash games, just my playstyle :D Plus nothing in my opinion is more fun than teaming up with a group of gunners and creating a crossfire cone of death :P

2. What guns do you currently own that are 3* and higher?

I have a Shadowtech alchemer mkII, voltech alchemer mkII, cryotech alchemer mkII, Magnus, needle shot. I prefer to use the shadow, voltech, and needle shot. I am planning on having both the cryo and volt upgraded so that when I am with a group of gunners we can have a variety of status effects. (For armor, I have a full gunslinger set with 3 different shields to cover defenses)

3. How long have you been on SK?

I'm new, definitely, but I have read the wiki so I understand some stuff that is rather quirky (like shield cancelling and avoiding reload etc). Started a week ago I think, but I got the starter pack so I've got a bit of stuff.

4. How active are you on SK?

I am planning on quite a bit. After playing Diablo 3, I can honestly say Spiral Knights is giving me a better impression.

5. What other guilds were you in if any?

One that I was randomly invited into, I hadn't made any long term plans but was just new to the game and haven't met anyone in the guild yet.

- Well, I've been soloing up to now and, since I'm not really skilled, I just found that ranged combat is much safer. Crowd-controlling packs of Wolvers/Alpha Wolvers helped a lot. =P

- I'm still on Tier 2, so I only have a Magnus and a Firotech Alchemer Mk II.

- It's been a week, more or less.

It's a totally awesome class-- sorry I couldn't come up with a new reason, but that alchemer ricochet gets me every time.

2. What guns do you currently own that are 3* and higher?
Voltech mk II and Shadow mk II--- by the way, I'm not fully 3 * yet. I have yet to get a swiftstrike and a gunslinger hat (though I'll keep using my cyclops instead of the gunslinger hat).

I am a gunner because swords don't really entertain me, and I'm more of a long range person. I just love blowing people's heads off at far range. Long range is better than close range in my book. Being precise and shooting an enemy from long range is great! Swords aren't fun in my opinion because of all the tedious spamming and such. Bombs aren't really "meant" for me, if that makes sense. My friends are all swordsman, and I'm usually the "unique" one. They called me odd for being a gun slinger but...I think I made the right choice.

2. What guns do you currently own that are 3* and higher?
I only have a Magnus, an Antigua, and a Needle Shot. but I'm planning to use the combo of the Argent Peacemaker and the Callahan. I really don't use the Needle Shot though, I don't like how you get immobilized. It could really get you killed in some situations.

3. How long have you been on SK?
Approximately two week and a half.

4. How active are you on SK?
I am online everyday. On weekdays, I am usually online from 4:00 P.M to 8:00. P.M. On weekends, I'm basically on the entire day. My time zone is GMT -6:00.

5. What other guilds were you in if any?
I have not been in a guild yet, I've been waiting until I could find the perfect guild to join and I think I have found it.

1. My bro was a bomber. I became a gunner. After having mastered the run n' gun style (Antigua line) I became an hybrid with the voltedge. Occasionally I use a shiver too, but i always carry a gun with me. Lately I carry the Blitz.

2. I have a Blitz Needle, an AP, a Sentenza, a Pulsar 4* and a Prismatech alchemer 4*.

3. I have been on SK since July 2012.

4. I am active, 5-6 times per week, but with the last update i cannot open SK from my mac anymore, so I have to use my bro's pc. This makes me log in much less than before. I hope they'll fix this asap.

5. I have been in Dark Hearts for a couple of months and in Ultima for almost an year. I currently am in Bluesparks, where there are my old friends of Ultima.

6. I expect to become a master with guns.

English, no.

2. What made you want to take up Gunslinging?
Swords force me to take more risks, are far more tedious to use safely, and encourage me to fight with more speed than skill. The best swords also all have gun-like charge attacks anyway, so why not use a gun instead?.

3. Would you consider yourself more of a hybrid, or a pure gunslinger?
A pure gunslinger.

4. How often do you log on?
Currently very frequently, so this may slow down as I start to spread back out over more games.

5. How long have you played Spiral Knights?
At least a period of several months total. My first long stretch of playing was a year or two ago, but the experience I gained has stuck with me.

6. How did you discover the League?
Through good mention while playing Lockdown.

7. What are your expectations of this guild?
To have a decent sized pool of other respectable gunslingers to party and hang out with.

8. What guns/gunner armor do you own so far that are 3* and up?
1x set of Deadshot
1x set of Justifier
1x set of Sunset (heating to become Nameless)
Storm Driver, Umbra Driver, Callahan, Plague Needle, Antigua, Catalyzer (poison line), Blackhawk.

Realm Raiders, which died over the period of my hiatus.

10. What is your favorite gun in the game by far? (Any gun, even if you don't have it yet.)
The Storm Driver is by far one of the best guns in the game because it provides group shock status, freedom of movement, decent DPS, and a powerful charge attack, while still allowing you to keep a significant distance from your enemies to circle them from.

11. Do you play Lockdown?
Yes.

12. How often do you play Lockdown?
Casually, for periods usually of 1-3 hours when I feel like it.

13. What tiers can you play in? (Ex: If you are Tier 3, can you play in Tier 2 if you wanted to)
Primarily Tier 3, but Tier 1 has interested me in the past and I may consider putting gear together for it.

14. What are your average captures and damage?
My average captures and damage are currently kind of low because I'm having to regain skill in Lockdown and the learning curve is very high. I've been improving though.

15. What is your preferred class in Lockdown?
I currently play as a Recon so that I can focus on relearning combat skill without the overhead of also having to learn Striker with guns while lacking a Polaris.

Since this game was out i tried to find a playstyle i like.. (AND WAS IMPOSSIBLE) and when i fail at guns and bombs i go to swords but i saw i suck in everything.. so i chose the most cooler the guns and started delevoping and kicking ass till now :D

Why am I a gunner?
Because shooting bullets is more enjoyable and requires more skill than anything else. Strike Needle charge attacks are the most satisfying thing in the game for me.

Master Blaster, Pyro Driver, Shadow Driver, Strike Needle, Antigua, Mega Magnus. I also have the 4* Gunner gear.

I messed around with other playstyles when I first joined, originally getting a set of demo armor but quickly finding bombing wasn't my taste. I'm not bad with a sword, but I can't defend particularly well in closerange. In parties, I often find myself beaten to the fights by swifter teammates. So why not use a gun? I got myself a Gunslinger set at some point, and I've recently upgraded it all to Sunset gear. I'm a gunslinger so I can be effective. I can provide support and offense fire for my teammates and cause chaos from afar.

What guns do you currently own that are 3* and higher?
Valiance, Shadowtech Alchemer Mk II, Kilowatt Pulsar, Blackhawk, Pepperbox, Mega Magnus.

How long have you been on SK?
Since October 16, 2011.

How active are you on SK?
I went inactive for a very long time, but came back in late September. I stay relatively active, but recently I've run out of things to do - I'm a Champion and I'm up to the Arkus mission. I'm too afraid to do it, though, and nobody else is doing it. I just farm Rotting Metropolis, hoping for Elite/Eternal Orbs in order to get new gear, but I find very few. I do stay active, though.

What other guilds were you in if any?
The Knights of Razgriz, which I joined back in 2011. Anoma-Razgriz was the leader, and he invited me himself. It grew to 70 members during the time I was inactive, but soon after I came back, he posted one last message for the Message of the Day, and suddenly... he was gone. His character no longer existed, and most of the guild members were inactive/retired, including the new Guild Master. I stayed for a while, sometimes paid the guild upkeep, but I recently left.

What are your expectations from the guild?
Well, I'm not really sure. Gunslingers gathered for the purpose of better the experience for everyone, perhaps?

2. What made you want to take up Gunslinging?
Well, at first it was a necessity. I can't use my shield so getting up close with my sword was causing me way too much damage the further I progressed in the game. And I've found I really enjoy Gunslinging. It keeps my knight out of trouble and there's a lot more variety in the available weapons.

3. Would you consider yourself more of a hybrid, or a pure gunslinger?
Well I do usually have a sword in case I get corned, but right now I mainly use my guns.

4. How often do you log on?
Maybe once a day or every other day. When I'm busy it can drop down to once a week.

5. How long have you played Spiral Knights?
Since early this year, maybe March or so, though I didn't do much with my knight until a few months ago.

6. How did you discover the League?
Through the guild recruitment thread in the Spiral Knight forums.

7. What are your expectations of this guild?
Well, I've been running solo this whole time. Occasionally I'll leave my party open and I've found that when the other players are decent enough and we can work well together, I enjoy myself a lot more. Unfortunately, when it goes the other way, then it's really not enjoyable. I thought maybe if I tried joining a guild it would be easier to find some nice people to run with. And since you guys are all gunners, I figured I could learn some good strategies while I'm at it.
