This is me, just being bored, so I thought one day, why are those Legendary monsters from the early beta/alpha not put in the new content of Spiral Knights?
- The following monsters have been removed from today's SK gameplay itself which is quite a shame:
1. Vog Cubs - The legendary Lava beast rising upon the fires of the doom.
2. Slooms - The known-as-sleep inflicting jellies.
3. Sloombargos: The Giant sloom-creature inflicting a sleep aura if you approach it.
4. Tortodrones - The giant monster which if startled, you can begin a long fight with.
5. Oil Barons - The giant oiler with a fancy decoration above its head.
So I thought, why can't those monsters be put in some select levels that can be taken out by the most experienced players out there in Spiral Knights, speaking about the lack of level content that missed for a bit of a while.
- This is my concept: A new expansion which could change the fate of those monsters and put them back to their work!
- Rise of the beast Expansion may contain a beast-related level, a special den, where crowds of Wolvers and Alpha wolvers will be spawned, you'll need to prevent them from attacking you. Lumbers will be ready to squish you either pummel you down with their best forces, and Chromalisks with their pool of death! Lumbers are put here since it's a greater challenge, and fits the enviroment, although it's an elemental monster. And Silkwing as a 'healer' for the crowds.
- You'll be located in a very tight space, so you would not be able to outrun the enemies. This is a very specific Danger mission scenario, as you might've seen.
- Rise of beast might contain some status damage as in: Fire, Poison, Stun, or other kind of status which can make this harder! In my idea though, this expansion should be related to fire, since in my concept, Vog Cub beast should be introduced in this expansion as a boss you need to face.
- And the first depth's boss will be a Tortodrone, you'll need to battle the mighty titan with your best powers, as it may kill you before you do.
- The Second floor may be another challenge, where you need to fight further more beasts ( Fiery beasts in my oppinion since I want to suggest about introducing the Vog Cub boss) In here, you need to take out several arenas, all different, since you need to get throughout several challenges in order to reach Vog Cub beast boss.
- Here, on the arenas, there'll be spawned 1 arena boss in each arena, which you'll need to kill, here, 1 alpha-wolver will be spawned every 3 minutes, someone needs to take them out, before they are trying to get out of the boss's way.
- After all those arenas, the Lair of the Legendary Fiery beast is waiting, with the Vog Cub in there.
- There'll spawn add-monsters ( Monsters like Wolvers, Chromalisks, Lumbers which will prevent you from attacking the Vog Cub beast, here, you'll need to battle the add-monsters and then fight the Vog Cub monster itself, in here, you'll rather have to fight Vog in 3 phases, after all these 3 phases, the beast is eliminated, and you've run throughout this whole content successfully if you finally got into this.

However if you're going with the "bringing out all the rare/removed enemies" theme, why not have Ironwood Sentinels instead of Lumbers?
