So, here i am, wearing all 3* gears, i really felt good about my self when i get my angelic set, but still the future of my stay on cradle is unsettled, so here is some more qeustions before i move on...
1. After many JK(jelly king) runs, i gained 20 jelly gems, but i am now sure about buying antigua or sealed sword since one of them is piercing( not good for slimes and constructs) and the other is a slow sword( not really my style, and it curses my in the long run), so what should i buy with 20 jelly gem? perhaps i should sell the antigua that i can get for a profit?
2. After finish heating up my great honour guard( a 3* event shield ), i realized that i can't craft it into a 4* shield(dang it), so here is my question, what shield should I get?(A. plated shield for maximum defence, B. owlite shield to make up for my angelic raiment's weakness against fire, C. something else??? D, a regular mighty defender for its averageness)
3. In the JK runs, i found my superblaster very useful, and i am thinking about getting to a master blaster(4*) to pack some more punch, or perhaps the all-around blaster is not as all-around as it seems( i found it useful, maybe u guys think otherwise ). So, is the blaster(valiance looks legit) line useful in the long run or should i get something else(like pulsar or antigua)?
4. I crafted a nightbalde for rank6 missions since most of them contain gremlins and it helps in JK runs, but i doubted its potentail against stronger foes like fiends and zombies, so should i stick with my nightblade or should i use my striker and make it into a vile striker later on( wild hunting blade is over rated )?
5. My agelic set is comming out fine( i know, it is bad for JK but still, i generally shoot in JK run, rarely use swords ), but here is my question, what combination should i get for my end game set? ( fallen, heavenly and valkary mail and helms, what combination should i get?)
6. The final boss of rank-6 is the R twins, i just wanna know how much of a step up are they from JK and snarby( in a scale of 1~a0 give ur score)?
And is the place guarded by mainly gremlins or mechs?
some more noob questions( or is it? )
Antigua is a funny thing since it's piercing, but all it's upgrades aren't.
Shields can't 'make up' for your armor weaknesses. They are separated entities.
#1 Well if you are not suitable with the sealed sword (which turns into a avenger or faust (which are good weapons)), you can either get asi or ctr for it to compensate, unless you are a gunner and agrees more with antigua. Also as bopp said...
#2 Owlite shield upgrades to a 5 star elemental shield, with fire resist, something good for your future runs. I recommend Barbarous Thorn shield (which starts from Bristling Buckler) as it has a sword damage boost, if you are a swordsman
#3 It is best to have a bunch of weapons around, i haven't try the blaster, but it's normal damage proves useful in every situation
#4 http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/69012
It seems acheron (upgraded nightblade) has not been doing it's job... Nothing is overrated, but some may be more powerful
#5 I recommend vog cub set (search the wiki please http://wiki.spiralknights.com/ )
#6 If you do not know how to dodge, it's a 5 out of 10
RT will have mostly mechs and some gremlins, along with a few jellys (avenger works, even on gremlins)

Answer:Yeah, you could get antigua and unbind fee(600ce) and sold it for 70k+ which you can net 30k profits. :) But personally, when i solo jk like a no-life for token i usually redeem those brute jelly gear and sold to merchant for fast crowns. So 5run can net me over 20k. :)
Answer:First,i would go for wolvers gear if i'm you(a gunner or swordie?) as it give sword damage bonus which is the best for swordman. And owlite is a popular and decent shield as it got fire resistant and shock resistant which can be good in lot's of situation. But still if your a swordie get bristling buckler. But if you don't want them, get plate shield then :),with normal max it ma be good.
Answer:I personally think a valliance is good for a gunner. :) Fast shooting and really great if you can get some ASI on it.It shoot hyper fast and good dps.Pulsar is just for it's knockback nothing else..if you want an elemental gun get either argent peacemaker or alchemer line which had more dps.or blackhawk :P,i sort of love it.
4. I crafted a nightblade for rank6 missions since most of them contain gremlins and it helps in JK runs, but i doubted its potentail against stronger foes like fiends and zombies, so should i stick with my nightblade or should i use my striker and make it into a vile striker later on( wild hunting blade is over rated )?
Answer:A dread venom striker is better than a hunting blade.Nightblade(shadow) which is only useful when vsing slime, construct and beast family.Still you should always had a flourish, nightblade and a fireburst, shockburst, iceburst brandish(your choice).
5. My agelic set is coming out fine( i know, it is bad for JK but still, i generally shoot in JK run, rarely use swords ), but here is my question, what combination should i get for my end game set? ( fallen, heavenly and valkary mail and helms, what combination should i get?)
Answer:You should go for full wolvers as wolvers set got all the gear that you need for end game. :)
For example like skolver(piercing) damage bonus max with barbarous thorn shield, vog cub set(good fire resistant for fsc) and ASI VH and snarbolax set(shadow) Same as skolver sword damage bonus max.
6. The final boss of rank-6 is the R twins, i just wanna know how much of a step up are they from JK and snarby( in a scale of 1~a0 give ur score)?
And is the place guarded by mainly gremlins or mechs?
Answer:The run is usually full of mechs and a few slime and gremlin. So bringing a shadow sword and an elemental sword is a good choice. :)
i would give 6.
I don't know if u were paying close attention, but midnight-dj did already mention that he/she (sry, can't tell, dunno :3) liked to shoot instead of use a sword.
@Midnight-dj an ideal set for you at three star would be gunslinger set. You can upgrade to justifier set for piercing protection (ideal if you just don't like vanaduke, you prefer JK), nameless set for elemental protection (useful against vanaduke himself, not really good against the floors before vanaduke, terrible in JK), or shadowsun set for shadow protection (useful in floors before vanaduke, doesn't do a thing in vanaduke or JK or RT). If your ultimate goal is to do vanaduke RUNS for money profit then I would go with one shadowsun piece and one nameless piece, which gives your guns a damage bonus medium and a speed increase medium, a useful balance. If you are very good in dodging, bring along the 3* shield swiftstrike buckler. The swiftstrike buckler doesn't guard against anything, but being a gunner, if you are good at dodging and you like hanging back and shooting, then use it, but make sure nothing hits you. This shield gives a speed increase for all weapons HIGH, so having that while gunning is quite useful.
My gunner set for vanaduke is:
Shadowsun (hat, forgot name :3) (3* version is gunslinger hat)
Swiftstrike buckler (unadvisable, if you need to shield a lot, then go with crest of Almire, begins at 4* blackened crest which costs tokens in vanaduke, OR go with grey owlite shield, 3* version is horned owlite shield, purely for its fire protection and elemental. Keep in mind that the monsters before vanaduke mainly all cause shadow damage, while vanaduke causes elemental damage)
Nameless poncho (3* version is gunslinger (coat, forgot name :3)
Blitz needle (slow acting gun which shoots out 6 bullets at a time. If you choose to get this gun, don't use it for common enemies, only use it for trojans and vanaduke himself, and never use common attack, only use charge attack)
Polaris/argent peacemaker (argent peacemaker (3* Antigua) if you like to solo OR if a member of your group has a freeze bomb, Polaris if you like to be with a group and there is no freeze bomb. AP is a very fast gun that does decent damage, especially to vanaduke. Polaris also does decent damage, but it gives up a bit of dps and movement speed while firing for its shock, which is useful if ur doing vanaduke.)
(If u have a 3rd weapon slot, bring along a divine avenger (3* version sealed sword) or a brandish upgrade (NOT Acheron, 3* version nightblade). If u have a 4th weapon slot, bring along the blitz, the divine avenger or the brandish upgrade (excluding shadow damage line) and both the Polaris and the AP)
Damage bonus gun trinket: medium
Speed increase gun trinket: medium
For now, u don't have to worry about trinkets, but these two trinkets will bring your speed up to very high and your damage up to very high as well, a great load out for the balanced player.
So, for now, i advise you work on gunslinger set, if you really like to gun more than use swords. If you're balanced, just work on Polaris for now. Polaris is very useful for both gunners and swordsmen, so it is advised u work towards it (2* version, pulsar, 15 RT tokens, 3* is kilowatt pulsar). And as for your 20 jelly gems, if u wanna gun more than use swords eventually in vanaduke floors, go for Antigua. If not, or you're balanced between swords and guns, go for sealed sword.
Hope I helped!

P.S.
JK= jelly king
RT= roarmulus twins
@ midnight-Dj
for question five: what troubles you more in the clockworks? your gear offers a good protection against the more annoying races of this world (Kat, Devilite) but the upgrade of your gear depends on what you need.
however, remember that youll need to cover the other damage types someday. although i doubt beasts will bother you, floorspikes and jellies can get pretty tricky, and any elemental monster can pack a punch on you in t3. so, remember to expand your arsenal.
if you want to continue with your gear as it is, go for valkyrie. youll even kick more devilite butt
if you want to sacrifice some of that fiend bonus ( in fact, youll have to turn it negative) in order to gain fire defense and attack speed increase, go for fallen. ( It'll help you a lot in the firestorm citadel, except for the trojans that reside there)
since youre not even 5* yet, i wont mention heavenly iron set, since it probably wont be your first 5* suit.
IMF is a tricky place for people new to it. if yo want to continue with your angelic set, use at least an elemental shield. (owlite, darkfang, drake, breaker shields). youll find less monsters, but more rockets which i advise you NOT TO TANK :they are devastating even for someone wearing a full magic set.
by the way, if you think you can waste the CR, try to buy a 2* magic hood, cloak and an owlite shield from the auction house. they cost about 2.5k each.
if you can, try getting someone who knows the layout to deactivate most of the rocket traps in that area while you wait behind. that will save you from loads of damage. your nightlbade will do very well, since you will do high damage against quicksilvers and gremlins and neutral on constructs. the payout is quite rewarding, even more that RJP in the first level (about 1.2k crowns.) so if you can, get used to the place so you can farm it.
watch out for the rockets that lie about, they have a larger reach than explosive blocks, but since they have a timer you can get out of the way easily enough.
oh, by the way, the damage youll be facing there is ( in order of common-ness): elemental (gremlins, constructs, the twins, rockets) normal (everything) and piercing (quicksilvers)
as for statuses: shock (most of the constructs there are shock-themed) (WATCH OUT FOR QUICKSILVERS! they can't shock you normally, but if they recieve shock fro mvials, weapons, floor traps, shocked knights, shocked monsters and even other quicksilvers, they will go into a frenzy for a shot period of time, damaging anything they touch and spreading shock. this, however, damages other monsters, so you can use it as a weapon)
Stun: gremlin thwackers' thwack.
the boss token rewards are very good too. you can get a 3* set of piercing/shock resist, two very usefull guns (one more than the other) and a shock vaporizer.
My general advice for people in your situation (which seems to be mixed sworder/gunner) is here. If you don't want to read all of that, here are the two crucial pieces of advice for you.
First, always plan in terms of 5-star items. I know that you're only 3-star now, so 5-star may seem really far away, but you don't want to get stuck in a lame alchemy path. So, for example, your JK token gun is not piercing; it's elemental (Argent Peacemaker) or shadow (Sentenza).
Second, read the wiki page "Damage", to learn the damage types that monsters inflict, are vulnerable to, and are resistant to. For example, your Nightblade (which you should think of as Acheron-in-waiting) is great against slimes and gremlins. It's terrible against fiends and undead, but that's okay, because you'll have other weapons to handle those.
