I just had a *great* idea for a new Guild Hall furniture! Mannequins!
Here's the concept:
A furniture item where, if you go up to it and right click, it brings up a menu. In the menu you can save your current loadout to the mannequin, and then pick a pose for the mannequin to be in. So, example, you have a Vog Cub set on. You go up to the mannequin and press "Save loadout to mannequin" or whatever, and then it brings you into another menu where you can chose from a series of poses, perhaps the normal Knight stance, perhaps mid attack with a certain weapon, etc.

Does the community have anything to say about my idea?

Actually...not...bad.

I assume the mannequins will be somewhat larger than a standard Knight, and available for anyone to use?

In which case I propose changes are only allowed to be made in Design mode, just to prevent excessive trolling.

That, or allow GM's/Officers to 'lock' a Mannequin to a specific user.

Otherwise, I am strangely ok with this.

The mannequins WOULD be larger

Of course they'd be larger, and on top of some kind of block/podium to signify that it is a mannequin. The problem with it being in Design mode is the whole "Right click" thing because it would merely make you pick up the item. Possibly an Officer/GM Exclusive item. And why is it strange that you're okay with this? ;D

Idk, it's just one of those things.

As for the 'placement' thing, why not just have it in 'neutral' while being moved, and when you place it you have to select a loadout for it to mimic?

Or 'Neutral' could be when it's stored, and selecting a loadout from when you select the Mannequin to be placed.

That'd be really cool

Maybe allow different poses that what knights usually get?
For example, having two mannequin leaning on swords stabbed into their podium, like guardian statues?

I love it, altho I feel some limits should be avalible to be added, as if I had a guild, I wouldn't want a new member with only cobalt and jelly armor to reset my set up.

FYI

Developers and GMs ignore over-bumped threads. Theres more bumps than support

This idea has already been suggested on the GH suggestions thread, though it's not in the OP yet. You want it to get the most visibility, ask Sev to post it there. He also listed some reasons why he hasn't put it up yet (I suggested it before), and none of you have addressed those problems.
