A plain damage buff to compensate in the mean time wouldn't hurt.
As it stands now, it deals less than a callahan to neutrals without a status.
Iron Slug Modifications
I would suggest posting this idea here. And maybe expanding on it a little more. Ok, make that alot more. :3
@Dukeplatypus: thanks for the info duke! Was there something specific nick was asking for?
@Juances: I totally agree, a damage buff is a great, simple idea!
@Hawxindanite: I agree with you as well!
@Klipik: thanks for the tips Klipik! But at the time being, I'll probably just keep this thread here.
I don't think we've heard anything about any details since Curio said it wasn't possible in his Clockworks Confidential. I may have missed something on it, though, but we can guess that Nick may want critical hits or piercing shots or something less conventional than a standard damage buff.
The problem is, if it's buffed temporarily in a different way, and people end up crafting it, said people will rage when the temporary buff is removed and Nick's original idea is added to the gun, just like the fix on the Volcanic Pepperbox caused rage.
@Dukeplatypus: Rightio, well I guess we'll have to see if something simple like a damage buff might be accepted instead
@Hexzyle: Umm, not quite sure I understood what you said. Could you say it again but in more detail? Thanks. :)
Hex means that if people get a temporary buff right now, they'll be angry when it's removed to make way for Nick's more complicated buff. People get used to things, so it's usually best to just leave it as is until further notice. Ya know, provided they actually get around to Nick's buff eventually.
Or buff it now and leave it, then when nick finds a solution he adds it as new magnus line called Iron Slug mkII.
@everyone!!!
Sorry guys, I didn't realise nick was an admin, I thought he was a knight! XD. My apologies everybody, I see what you mean now. It's probably best to simply leave it and wait for nick's modification to be released.
So I'll send this thread to the graveyard now.
Thanks for your time anyway!

Nick's said that he wants to change the mechanics of Iron Slug for a while now, but he's been held back because the engineers told him that what he wants to do with the gun simply isn't possible within the game's code yet.
