The CIV, is considered, underpowered and the Leviathan blade is better than it.
It has its undead damage boost but the brandish 5* Weapons could do better damage to undead.

This calls for a change for the CIV, as it's my first 5 star weapon.
I have to admit I haven't used it for 8 months.

So what I'm asking for is, change the normal damage of the CIV and CIC to elemental and normal split.
That way, it can deal a pretty good damage, especially for the charge against undead (FSC Slags come in multiple amounts and the CIV's charge is capable of attacking multiple enemies.
And, it makes it a good challenge for the Levi blade.

Nope.

If you think that Brandish works better - use brandish.

There's no way that CIV can have elemental instead of Undead bonus, as long as Calibur are purely normal 3-swing average speed sword. Also, with such way we gonna take less of normal damage swords, which is probably not good because there's not so much of them at all.

I happy that CIV is your first 5* weapon. Mine is DA. But there's no point to change any weapon by such way just because of that.

When I knew that brandish works better, I immediately got a glacius.

@Juances The fang of Vog is the toughest sword to get in game.
Even though I have one, their attacks are slow and the charge causes fire. Nevertheless, it is a great weapon.

Thats my concern, a special damage calibur charge can be OP without drawbacks.
After all, if you manage to corner an enemy, a Leviathan is like the charge of a brandish missing 1-2 explosions -if wiki data is correct-

The calibur weapons are preferred when multiple enemies come towards you, you charge the Levi, Bang! Out goes the enemies far away, And as for the CIV, it does not have high knock back, but can attack multiple enemies multiple (3) times.

CIV needs maybe a slight buff. I would suggest giving a Undead VH UV so make it more standout (while not overshadowing its bigger brother Levi). But aside from that the sword is good as is because:

What CIV can do but DA can't. CIV has faster recovery time by delivering the damage in smaller packets (slashes).

What CIV can do but Brandishes can't. CIV has a longer reach for normal attacks.

What CIV can do but neither DA nor Brandishes can do. CIV doesn't get resisted but these two swords would get resisted by something. You can therefore bring one few weapon because CIV is two weapons in one. (A normal damage weapon that excel in Undead.)

If you have a lot of money and very bored, roll ASI VH and Undead VH on a Levi Blade. Then you can pretty much forget about CIV. But since most people don't have lots of money (but they can still be bored), CIV provides a cheap alternative to that ideal undead killer blade.

Personally, I believe OOO will revise this sword at some point. Just when and how.
