Hi. I did use mechaknights quiet a few times but they always seem to die too fast and not do that much idea. This is why I have new improvements for them. First of all, it only deals normal damage. I think that there should be a mechaknight for each attack type, normal, piercing, elemental, and shadow. Since the damage bar on weapons for normal damage is red, the original mechaknoght should stay red. The piercing damaging one is yellow, the elemental damaging one is green, and the shadow damaging one is purple. Just like alchamer guns, there also should be status effect inflicting ones is well. The non-status effect inflecting ones does more damage like the alchemer guns. even though the damage types are different, they deal the same damage, as in the damage bar would be the same length. The status inflicting ones (except curse and sleep) do a bit less damage and all the status inflicting ones do the same damage. to distinguish between each status effect, the mechaknight will have the symbol of their status effect on top of their head, like the enemy mechaknights. As for the non-status inflicting ones, they will have the same symbol as the original one which is the energy symbol, the one on your mist energy bar. Their defence and health is increased, with them being a little bit more resistant to their attack type. They should appear a little bit more often. Lastly, which one you find is randomized every time you enter a new map.

It's well thought out and you

It's well thought out and you gave details. I can't really think critically to see anything wrong with this thread, just a question. Can you find inoperative Mecha Knights that have different status types and damage types and fix them with energy?

The point of special damage types is to deal more damage right?. Why dont you just buff mechaknights and leave them with normal then. It's a lot easier, reasons below:

They are already rare, add variations and karma and you'll never find the one you need.

Even so "with them being a little bit more resistant to their attack type" would be useless in most scenarios.
-A shadow mecha should kill jellies and gremlins. Neither of them deal shadow. Only undead and fiend do, but they resist it too :p

Besides they are supposed to be more of a distraction rather than a real companion. More so now that pets are coming.

Having just normal is not that fun compared to different attack types and status effects. Just increasing the stats isn't always the only way to make things better either.
