Is being pay-to-play a bad thing?

I'm pay-to-play but I have experience. I didn't just rush to Firestorm Citadel. I realized that I wouldn't always have time for grinding so I put a small amount of $20 in the game, I've played the missions and read their subjects carefully. Believe me.
I see nothing wrong with P2P'ers, this game wouldn't have any CE without them. There are only two situations i can see that they put me at a disadvantage:
1. their inexperience + apathy for completing a dive ruins a SL run or FSC run,
2. when the bid I put in to finally buy that volcanic wolver tail i've been wanting for so long in the featured auctions, of which i have been saving CR for months, gets trounced by someone to whom money is no object :P
these grieviances however are rather small and personal. the positives greatly outweigh the negatives. P2P'ers are fine.
