Since Dogish have no clue who the heck is Vog, he goes to the training hall in hope for talking to a knight that knows about the curse. As soon as he enters the training hall, he saw a knight wearing an ash tail armor talking to a knight who wears a magic hood. He asked to those knights, "What the heck are you guys talking about?".
OOC@KnightofVana: Rejected. Make something a bit more detailed? You kinda just did only his personality...
Vin just stares at the Gremlin. Sure, maybe the animal-merchant or some other one would be in Haven's town square, but to see a Gremlin Demo...
"Why are you here?" Vin asks, tilting his head in curiosity. He then nervously tries to unsheathe his blade....
((Remember, knights in Haven have their names posted over their heads. I will pretend this is still true in this RP.))
Jak searched Haven for "Thanatos," but couldn't find him. He'd checked the Town Square, the Bazaar, and the Garrison, but couldn't find him. He just got out of the Arcade with no success. Only one more place to check: the Advanced Training Hall. He hoped that he wasn't going in circles with Theo.
He entered the Training Hall. It was crowded today, and several noobs were busy trying to trap each other in the pressure plate simulator. The staff had recently modified it so that wasn't possible, but it didn't stop people from trying. Keston and Konway had their hands full today.
There, at the entrance, Jak spotted Thanatos (in a Magic/Fallen outfit), who was speaking with an Ash Tail knight named "Vin" and a strange Gremlin Demo. Hold it a sec - those darn grems don't belong in here! And those knights were speaking to it!? What treachery is this?? Jak whipped out his blaster, but then it occurred to him that the grem could be an Emberlighter, so he elected not to shoot before determining the allegiance of his target.
He slowly approached the trio, blaster aimed at the grem's head. At that moment, he noticed Vin trying to stealthily draw his Fang. Things were about to get interesting.
((Keston had better get his tail-end in here. Konway should be seeing this too, seeing as he's at the front desk.))
Dogish quickly heard Vin question."I'm here because the crimson order takes away my bombs and a knight offers me powerful bombs if i break Vog's curse." Dogish answer, with a weak smile.
He turned his head to Jak and saw him pointing his blaster. He quickly shouted, "Oh no, please don't shoot me! Just because i'm a gremlin doesn't mean i need to die! As long as you don't take away my little cute bombs i'll not kill you."
OOC: Sorry i forgot the ones who have a blaster is Jak.

What?! Theo thought to himself, Did this gremlin's head suffered a delusional state?. After a while, he noticed that the gremlin wasn't talking to him, but maybe someone else outside his range of vie.He didn't know how to react after seeing a gremlin for a long time, especially a demo. Theo liked gremlins, they are friendly in his own perspective, they prefer tinkering with metals and scraps other than killing knights. But alas, all gremlins are trained to kill since the knights like to rummage their stuff and kill them for their lunch moneys.
"I...uh...." Theo stammered as he struggled to grab the handle of his blade, it has been years since he entered combat. His battle skills used to be excellent and on the prime position amongst many knights, but now he is in the same league as a recruit carrying a blade they themselves could not control.
Suddenly, his HUD beeped a message saying that he got a new mail, from who? Theo thought to himself as he backed away from the gremlin, he didn't have time to check for it but know who it was from. Theo suddenly felt someone near them and looked back and could see the same knight he had saw earlier, Jak was it? Theo tried to remember by the short notice before. Theo always had strange powers, such as knowing where an enemy would hide and the numbers of them. But what irritates him the most is that he knows when an ally or an enemy die and how they did. He thought it was something that most knight would usually know by just seeing it, but Theo could know every pieces of detail even with his eyes closed. Does it have any connections with his curse? or is it related to....
No... Theo shook his head, It doesn't have anything to do with... with that incident nor either anything with me.... Theo thought to himself as he found himself already holding to the blade. He didn't want to take risks as he know that demo gremlins are the most dangerous and pesky as they tend to drop hazards around the clockworks.
"Um.... Vin.... what should we... uh... do?" Theo frowned as he turned his head towards Vin, who was still nervously unsheathing his blade.

"Well," Vin trails off in thought.
"I don't know what to do in a situation like this. =.=' " he finally replies. He lets go of the sword's grip and sat on the smoldering floor.
"Well, shouldn't it be better if you put a Fang in OUR custody? It's not like your kind can use it any better than we can. On top of that, you guys are kinda susceptible to...evil thoughts and stuff. I mean, I HAVE seen a couple of your kind in Depth ???. It's not pretty."
"It's okay, Knight Jakuras. Put down the blaster."
Jak spun around and saw Keston behind him, gesturing to him to stop. Jak decided not to test his gunslinger skills against Keston's, and did as he was told. Satisfied that all was well, Keston gave Konway a thumbs-up and left the Hall. Konway was gonna keep an eye on these guys; they spelled trouble.
Jak slowly approached the trio, and addressed the gremlin: "Are y-you f-f-f-friendly? Th-this isn't a t-trap?"
He then addressed Theo: "And d-did you g-get my message?"
He shot a fleeting glance at Vin. Without directly staring at him, there was no way he could determine whether Vin was affected by the curse. He noted the ashen floor, but little else.

Jak whipped out a bomb, armed it for contact detonation, and threw it at the scorcher, simultaneously drawing his blaster and firing at the scorcher. He'd had enough of these gremlins' shenanigans, and wasn't buying that demo's poor excuse.
Konway called security.

((Jak was already suspicious of the one gremlin, but two of them infiltrating Haven was the last straw for him. Besides, I don't know if the "OOC fight" rule applies to characters you didn't apply for. Jak isn't fighting with Dogish; he's fighting with a character you introduced on the spot. I fully intend to kill that gremlin.))
((I believe the "no fight without permission" rule only applies to characters you applied for, as they have the most to lose from a fight (their story). I don't think it applies to NPCs, whom you did not apply for.
Dogish was an accepted character application. Your scorcher was not. I think I have a license to fight with the scorcher if I like. But I have to ask your permission before fighting Dogish.))

The scorcher quickly reacts by firing his flamethrower to Konway. The fire also burns a small patch of floor.
Dogish quickly shouted, "Everybody please calm down, we don't need to make pointless war just because he's a gremlin. As long as you don't shoot him, he'll not razed the training hall. How about we just goes to a shadow lair!?"
((OOC: Konway is still at the front desk, but he is using his Comm Unit to contact security. Keston, who is the default security, is presently standing at the doorway to the Training Hall, but his strength alone won't be enough to calm down four feisty warriors, so Konway is making a general call for security from Haven. The four warriors are standing in the entryway of the Hall, some distance away from the front desk. Konway and Keston are in-game NPCs, if you don't know who they are.
Yes, your scorcher can fight me if he desires. Attacking Konway was uncalled-for; Konway didn't attack the gremlin, Jak did. Besides, Konway is behind the desk, so the flames can't hurt him.))
Jak was furious. He wasn't buying the gremlin's tale that he was "forced to be evil" by the Crimson Order. Nonna, Punch, and Vise weren't serving the Crimson Order and weren't "forced to be evil," so what universe was this gremlin from!? And why the heck was that stupid scorcher threatening these knights smack-dab in the middle of Spiral HQ?? Did he have some kind of death wish? If so, Jak would be more than happy to oblige him.
Jak certainly wasn't going to calm down anytime soon. He armed another bomb and waited for the two gremlins to make their next move.
Vin, I raged silently about the powerplay. I wouldn't have ever agreed
Dogish shouts to Theo, "Except Punch, Vise, and Nonna are high bounty targets to be killed. In fact, they're just lucky to not be killed by the crimson order."
The stupid scorcher quickly burn Jak and he threaten Dogish, "If you don't want to join Crimson Order, i'll give you a permission to die." Dogish just stares away, don't know what to react.
Then the scorcher quickly ran away to the clockworks by furiously run away.
Jak disarmed his bomb and put away his blaster. Curiously, this gremlin could read his mind, as Jak hadn't spoken his thoughts aloud. At any rate, a chatty gremlin is not an enemy gremlin, at least not yet.
"Still, Nonna, p-Punch, and Vise had a choice. B-b-bounty or no b-bounty, nobody is f-f-forcing them to serve anyone," Jak explained. "I d-don't think you're b-b-b-b-b-*urgle*-BEING f-forced to serve the c-c-c-Crimson Order yourself." *takes a deep breath*
Jak looked at Vin. "I'm really s-sorry! I h-haven't i-i-introduced myself! I-I'm Jakuras, b-but you c-c-c-can c-call me Jak." *takes another deep breath*

Loadout: Nothing really, except the natural sharp wings of a greaver.
Biography: A brown greaver with a gold mask and purple markings, Tarkail holds a deep-seated curiosity about the Spiral Knights. Staying far from battle, Tarkail took in as much information about the Spiral Knights as possible. With his curiosity still unsated, he snuck into Haven and made a crude dwelling in the rocky Arcade ceiling. He has been around Knights long enough to have a rudimentary grasp of their language, which is roughly replicable with a Greaver's vocal chords. Few Knights know of his presence, and most understand he means no harm. However, his interest has recently been piqued by talk of the curse of Vog, and he acquired a desire to find out more.

Also, Fleet, that improper character was uncalled for. This is a warning from me, so think before you enter anything.
Slayer, the rule applies to all characters, no matter what or who they are. The rule is negated only if the player allows their character to be susceptible to sudden attacks. You also get a warning.
BIC: Vin stood by, utterly shocked by the turn of events. It had seemed as though several Knights and Gremlins had suddenly converged inside the Training Hall, almost got into a fight, and dispersed as quickly as they had arrived. Jak and the Gremlin both seemed to be hair-trigger aggressive, so Vin tried to word his sentence as carefully as possible.
"So why the f*** are we all here?" Vin asks, obviously quite irritated at the turn of events. Sure, Theo and his meeting was supposed to be at least somewhat private, but this was too much. The squabbling had put him on edge, and this rush had only been amplified by the Fang itself. Vin pulls out the Fang comfortably, and the room cranks up thirty degrees. The same veins of fire found on a Vog Cub Coat were gleaming through the ashen coat, as if the ash was simply another layer on top of something else. "What, are we here to kill or something? I know that one of you pissants can answer me." He voices this tersely, as if he was goaded to be aggressive.
OOC: Vin is now ready for any battle. If you wish to attack him, you may attempt the first strike.
OOC: Sorry Vin i forget that rule. Please shout at me if you find me break a rule. Also isn't swearing is against the ToS? Just saying here.

Dogish speaks to Jak, "You're surprised by the fact that i just read your mind? I didn't even read your mind, i just predicted you're saying that." *weak smile*
Dogish quickly turn around his head to Vin, He surprised to find out Vin had a cursed sword. "Your sword seems to be owned by some kind of volcanic god. I seriously recommend you drop your sword." He voice this calmly, as if he was peaceful.

Theo didn't know how to handle this situation at all, it was happening to fast and Theo is still gripping his blade cautiously. He didn't know what to do right now and he knew that there is no easy way around this whole problem, but the only one he can trust now is Vin.
"As much as I would avoid direct combat..." Theo paused and looked at his blade, he rarely used it yet the blade is still sharper than ever... was it because it has been draining away the source of his mind? Theo shook his head, Now's not the time for this matter... he reassured himself, Theo then turned to Vin who was ready to clash blades with anyone who stands in his way.
"Vin..." Theo whispered to himself, he could remember someone... someone who had the same fire and courage as Vin, he tried to remember who it is but he could only remember little. He remembered the face of that knight, a knight who's luck is as sour as his right now, a hood... a pair of glasses... But that is all he could remember, Theo looked back at the gremlin in front of him. Are they really friendly? But he could immediately see straight into the eye of the scorcher that he isn't in the state of negotiation. The knight who Theo believed his name might be Jak who was furious before has quickly switched his personality attire from destructive into cautious.
"I.... I won't let you hurt him at all!" Theo mustered with all his courage, Theo once made a promise to that knight he couldn't remember, a promise to protect him with his life. "I will... well... If I have to... I will risk my life to help Vin!" Theo perked as he swung his blade.
"I... I don't care whoever you people are right now.... But as what Vin said, it seems that you have created a little diversion in our own plan." Theo sighed and is ready to fight now.
(OOC: yes, Theo is ready to fight so you can attack him if you want to, note that his skills are horrible but don't kill him or anything okay :P)
"So what if it is from Vog?" Vin taunts. He takes a few steps back, while spinning his sword. Small waves of heat radiate from the blade, progressively growing hotter by the tens of seconds.
While doing this, Vin sighed. He was, in fact, a little annoyed that Theo had gotten the message of "courageous Knight" instead of "hair-trigger berserker". Oh well, he thought, at least it's nice to have someone willing to fight for you

Theo looked worried at Vin's reaction to what he had said. Did I say anything to offend him? he thought to himself, but what he is really trying to think is WHO the knight he couldn't remember at all. Of course, while wielding his blade in case of an attack.
Then Theo remembered, he remembered it.

"Congrats dude!" Theo smiled as he rushed towards the crowds, a young knight in a wolver set who was fazed gave a weak smile as he waved his hand at Theo.
"Hey Theo...." the young knight spoked rasply, it is clear that he had suffered severe physical and mental injuries through his missions with his allies.
Theo stopped right in front of him, he was surprised to see him much more stronger than the last time he had saw him. Whatever ordeals he had must've toughen him and build confident to the young knight's frail ego. The young knight smiled weakly and showed his Cautery Blade smeared with blood.
"I killed him..." the knight sighed in relief, "I...killed Ragmuth Heavensglare..."
What?! Ragmuth?! How could he do that?! Even knights like me has a seldom chance of victory against that rogue knight! Theo thought to himself, he was shocked that this knight managed to defeat a rogue knight, Theo knew that the knight wasn't bluffing at all since he trusted him.
"Young knight......" a knight in a sinister skelly suit approached the young knight, he grabbed the knight's weak hand and shook it. "You have proven yourself worthy young knight, for that we shall promote you to a higher position and the wanted money for defeating the rogue knight."
Theo could see happiness spread through the knights face, he rarely see such happiness coming from the bad lucked knight. What if Theo was the one who lost to that lottery few days ago? Would he survived like how this knight did?
"I think imma rest for now..." the knight smiled and bowed politely at Theo and the skelly knight, he walked towards the garrison to rest for now.
"Lucky Bastard..." Theo cackled and walked away from the crowd, only to be stopped by the skelly knight. "Is there anything wrong sir?" Theo asked the knight who was smiling... Oddly this smile doesn't show happiness nor joy at all.

"That's right... Now I remember who he is..." Theo smiled and turned to Vin, the knight he remembered may have small resemblance to him but after that incident that knight became stronger and braver... Perhaps he is even stronger than Theo now... It has been several years since that incident and since they both seen each other again.... "I wonder how Marmalade is doing now..."
((OOC: Warning noted. Henceforth, I will ask permission before starting a fight with anyone.))
"I-I-I was h-here to c-c-c-confirm the origin of the c-c-c-curse. What are you h-here for?" Seeing Vin prepared for battle, and Theo prepared to defend him, Jak realized that the situation had escalated beyond an appropriate level. "E-everyone stop! We're a-all knights of the Spiral o-Order! J-just calm down!"
He nervously fingered his bombs again. If his theories were right, he could break the curse, but not without the help of the Accursed Ones.
OOC: Sorry haven't been able to play, got stuff in my head
BIC: I jump into a shadow, sensing the presence of a power source, and quickly disappear in a blink. I appear, still hiding in the shadows, watching a bomber Knight stutter and nervously twitch as he speaks out. I let my red eyes suddenly brighten in the darkness, and allow him to see me if he so much as turn around. Then I think better of it, and only allow a bright red flare come from my thorns that might just catch his attention and then I plunge myself back into the darkness.
I sense something, something powerful. I am then standing in the shadows, watching a Knight weilding a Fang of Vog dance with his sword, twirling about as the Fang get hotter. I also let this Knight see a flash of red before I disappear. Good, the events that must go into motion are set. I nod to myself, and I appear back in Sanctuary, and I take a rest.
((OOC: is that stuttering bomber knight a reference to Jak? Where is Seatus at the moment? Everyone is still in the Training Hall.))
Theo's attention was caught by something else, before he sense a powerful presence nearby them... But who? That kind of power is quite impossible for a knight to achieve... maybe it wasn't a knight... Someone or something is clearly trying to get in contact with Vin.... but what? And what are their motives? Theo pondered, he knew he have special capabilities but this time it is unclear to him for whatever had materialized a moment ago, perhaps that creature's power excels Theo's....
Theo turned back to Jak, "Is... that what your reasons are? If so... I think there is no particular reason we should clash blades at all...."
At least the knight wasn't a threat.. Theo smiled, he was relieved that he didn't need to fight a knight at all, he then fixed his aim at the gremlin. I don't want to do this at all.... Theo sighed and readies for an incoming attack if one is going to approach.
The shield on Vin's back seemed to tug at him, as if it was attracted to a certain force. Although the pull wasn't a strong one, it did catch Vin's attention. The Knight tossed the Fang from right to left hand, and tapped the shield. A flash of blood red surged through his vision, and immediately disappeared. Vin instinctively flinched backwards, and the Fang lost heat. His lungs felt compressed, and a different kind of rush was coursing through him: the thrill of the predator.
The Fang had lost most of its power, so Vin slowly sheathed the blade. He began shifting his eyes left and right between the other people, as if cornered by adversaries. An unsettling presence was hanging in the air...
"Did anyone see something?" Vin inquired the group. He had reverted to his calmer self, but something was still bothering him. His mind felt split, as if some parts had belonged to the bold and headstrong Vog, while others were of a cunning force. Vin suddenly realized the tension in the air, and spoke quickly.
"I don't think we should get in a fight right now, it might end up uglier than right now. I know I was just itching for one a moment ago, but there's something not quite right. I don't think it'll get any better if we just start attacking now. I'm sorry if I said anything offensive, but I'd rather that none of us swing our blades now."
OOC: Seatus was at Sanctuary, but he let the certain Knights feel his presence so he could set a certain series of events in motion. And the stuttering Knight does indeed refer to Jak
BIC: I pace back and forth through Sanctuary, thinking. The Kats have been quiet lately...and I think this has a lot to do with the Swarm, for the other day I observed into the Structure's waters, and could see panicking. I saw a big dark blur in the picture. I could only assume this was an unatural or ancient being. I disappeared to Moorcraft Manor to find it in chaos.
Kats were running this way and that, trying to salvage strangely scorched pages. It looks like the mark a Fang of Vog would make...except it was pink. I talked with the Kat, and apparently the place had been raided by a giant black Kat.
I can remember the tales my Father told me of these great Kat Tribe Warriors. There were various Swarm-Fang of Vog scorches decorating the room... I took the only book they had left with me, as a rent out, and materialized within the shadows to Sanctuary. I checked over the surprise I had given the two Knights earlier from the Structure's waters, and found the necessary hint of curiosity in their eyes to know the events could start soon.
I read over the book, and find disturbing descriptions of painful Curses. I curl up, and sleep for the rest of the day.
Theo was glad to hear what Vin has stated, he was glad that there will be no bloodshed today at all. But something else bothered him.... It feels as if someone or something is watching Theo's movement... Was it the same presence he had felt earlier before?
But another thing that bothered him also was Vin, something had affected him before and only he was affected... What did Vin actually felt? This has caught his interest, he wanted to find whatever creature this is... Maybe that creature could explain Theo's special powers and probably a way to get rid of it. He didn't like the idea of knowing the former names and history of zombies he usually kill, it is as if he is killing a living knight.
"I.. I'm glad that's over..." Theo groaned and sat on the ground, he sheathed his blade back and looked at Vin sadly.. Whatever he is dealing with is far worse than what Theo had felt.
(OOC: well, I have to tell you this. I will be gone for the next 5 days and I wouldn't be able to participate at all in the time being.)
(@Vinnydime: If you can, may I ask you for a request? To take control over Theo's action while I'm gone? Well if you couldn't, can you still at least make a situation where he is either out of contact with any other characters or anything else? Thanks :3)
A voice. Not of living or of the dead. It comes into my mind, telling all that is needed to be told. The lights flicker, and I see darkness everywhere except for a bright sphere beneath my feet. It speaks to me. I blink a few times, until my vision is normal again. I guess I can't wait on this. I toss the Ancient Book into the Structure's water, and watch as it travels through an interdimensional path, landing at Vin's feet. This should give them some answers. The red on my body flickers blue for a moment, and then I pass out from exhaustion.
The fang Theo had possessed was burning his stamina very quickly. If it weren't for the excitement, he wouldn't have been using so much energy. Soon, Theo's vision was becoming blurry, and the air felt cooler, as if a fresh blanket was being wrapped around him. Theo's fang felt comfy in the sheath, as if it was a heated pad. At this point, the world seemed dark as a cave. A warm, fuzzy cave...
*Plonk*
Theo was on the floor asleep, evidently exhausted from using so much energy. Vin smirked at this sight. Theo obviously needed to strengthen his mental and physical barriers, as the flame within all the fangs consumed the wielders' stamina. It was common to see inexperienced users collapse from certain stimuli, and Theo was no exception. In fact, Vin also felt very tired, despite having been awake for only a few hours. No matter, he needed to clear his head anyways. Maybe if he could stroll out to the fountain when this is all said and done...
I sit up with a pounding headache. I remember....throwing the book into the water? The Core....it spoke to me....but why? I look into the waters, and wave my hand over the surface. Something is wrong. The water stays blank. I look around, and the Swarm is surrounding Sanctuary, glowing pink faces taunting from the darkness. Swarmed-infested souls crawl from the ground, baring the Swarm's eye. They run at me, and I slay them, one soul after another, but more just keep coming. I swing my tail, lodging arrows into their Swarm eyes. Light shines from the water of the Structure. Everything is getting darker. Everything stops for a moment, and I see the Core shining again under my feet, so far away. The Swarm is paralyzed thankfully for the time being. I go to the Structure, and cup my hands to pick up some water. I toss it upon them, and they shrivel back to their territory. The darkness around Sanctuary disappears, but I don't know how much longer I can stay here. I look back into the waters, and am glad to see it working. I watch as the Knight I had shown my presence to watch his friend pass out from the Fang. But shouldn't he have seen the book by now? The book...I look for it in the water but I can't find it anywhere near Vin. I see it finally in a dusty corner of the room....
I see a knight is tired, the knight stamina is burned by the fang of Vog. It has to be have some kind of relation to Vog's curse. Theo is obviously corrupted by the fang.
I shouted, "The fang consumes everything from the wielder. Not only it can consume stamina, but it also consumes memory and intellegince! If my theory is right, the fang must be returned to Vog! But where in the world is Vog?"
I quickly leaved the training hall, headed into the town square looking for a knight that have a shadow key.
I look up suddenly from the water. Someone is coming, I hear the violence of their powerful attacks. They won't find me...I wave my hand over the water to see a demo Gremlin coming this way. I leave no trace of myself as I jump into the waters, and quickly none of myself can be seen, like a shroud hiding myself. I close my eyes and watch the Gremlin from the water's visions.
OOC: I'm going to have to ask Fleet and Seatus to change their writing, starting from post #95. One does not simply walk out of a training hall expecting to reach Sanctuary in such a short time. Another warning from me to Fleet.
