While I approved of the guild hall update (Spiral Knights needed more crown sinks, after all), I thought of some additions that could be made:
Boss Trophies
The boss trophies were an excellent addition for the guild halls…but some of the richer guilds were able to craft all of them in mere days. I hereby suggest the obvious idea: create shadow lair versions of the boss trophies. The trophies would be: Replica Rabid Snarbolax, Replica Ice Queen, Large Replica Red Roarmulus Twins, and Darkfire Vanaduke's Finery. I would imagine that each would cost 25 of the appropriate shadow lair material, several hundred 4 and 5 star materials (same ones the other boss trophies use), and, of course, 4 of the other boss trophies. Also, I don't see why Seerus doesn't have his own line of trophies; a set of 3 items: Seerus Mask Fragment, Giant Gear (like the gear in that prestige mission with the battled fight), and culminating with the 'Seerus' Throne' trophy. These furniture pieces would be a good addition (with the throne being the best looking chair in the hall; it could have the option to be configured so that only Guild Masters can sit in it).
Guild Hall Arcade.
Yes, I know this has been suggested before. This is just my spin on it. There would be an option to buy an 'arcade room' for the guild hall after the war room is purchased. It has a separate mineral count from the default arcade, allowing guilds to customize the themes of the stratums at will. Now, I can already hear people saying "But Hortumal! You don't really mean to kill of the arcade even more, do you?" The honest answer is that I don't. However, the real reason to run the guild arcade is that for every 10 crowns you pick up, 1 goes into the guild treasury! In addition, when forming a party, you can add 'difficulty modifiers'. These make the monsters more difficult, but provide a greater number of bonus crowns for the guild treasury. Some ideas for difficulty modifiers:
• Danger Room: All monsters are increased in power to their danger room equivalents. +20% for treasury.
• Tier +1: Monsters are of the next tier. Does not function in tier 3. +10% crowns.
• Swift Monsters: Monsters move/attack 15% faster. +10% crowns.
• Tough Monsters: Monsters have +50% health, and healing monsters heal +50% as well. +10% crowns.
• Fierce Monsters: Monsters deal +50% damage. +10% crowns.
• No Sonic: Turns Sonic Mode OFF. +20% crowns.
These will provide a greater challenge for skilled players, whilst granting crowns to the guild treasury as well. These arcades would be open to people outside of the guild as well-good for those who want to try their hand at running an all-fire stratum gate that has been created-but the bonus crowns go to the guild who owns it.
More Furniture:
I've seen furniture items in the preview videos that we still don't have. Here are some ideas:
• The long benches you see in Candlestick Keep-maybe each bench can have 2 seating spots, letting 2 knights sit on the bench at a time.
• Braziers
• Clumps of fire
• Almost any other object that you can find in the clockworks
EXAMPLE RECIPE: FIRE TILE
• 10,000 crowns
• 10 Blast Powder
• 2 Blaze Pepper
• 1 Flame Soul
Monster Cages:
I'm pretty sure that this has been previously suggested, but I'll say it anyway. Monster cages would be furniture items that contain various non-boss monsters. They would likely take up a 2x2 or 3x3 space, and cost various amounts depending on the tier of the monster: 150,000 for tier 1, 500,000 for tier 2, and 1,000,000 for tier 3.
My thinking is that these will be cartable items instead-I find that while crowns are costly, plenty of players have leftover materials. A Furniture Alchemy Machine should be added (it could be a room, or built into the guild hall, gaining more recipes as the guild hall is expanded), where materials and crowns from the guild treasury are used to create shiny new items to spice up that old room
Better Rooms:
Right now, empty rooms can have 3 types of flooring: Default, Checkered, or Industrial. I say that is too limited. So, to steal a suggestion that has been said hundreds of times, we should get clockworks-themed rooms in our guild hall. In addition, there is no reason that hallways can't have better flooring (and cooler looking walls) then they do now. It would go well with the new clockworks-themed furniture as well.
Hall of Heroes Room:
The members of the Hall of Heroes have come to your guild hall to sell their wares! I suggest a room that has all the knights (and their recipes) from the Hall of Heroes. Since this is the easiest vendor area to get to (its right next to the guild halls, and can quickly be accessed from the missions tab), I suggest selling this room the low, low price of 20,000 crowns. Available from the very first wing expansion, it should give guild halls who can't afford many of the later expansions a shiny room to hang out in.
Mist Generator:
This pricey (100,000 crowns!) piece of furniture is a special unit not unlike the power cell on the armor of a Spiral Knight, siphoning mist energy from the atmosphere of Cradle to be transferred to the mist tank of a guild member. This item would only generate mist energy, creating 1 mist every 13.2 minutes, with a limit of 100 mist energy at one time. In addition, each mist generator is hooked up to the same source of mist; having more than 1 won't increase the amount of mist you get.
Bazaar Room:
How come Vatel gets their own room in the guild hall, yet poor Ricasso, Greave, and co are left out? While only 1% of players actually buy from some of these merchants, they have decided to set up shop in guild halls in hope of netting more sales. Their room can be bought for 100,000 crowns if at least 1 2nd floor expansion is owned, and is primarily a trophy room that decked out guild halls own to show their wealth.
Armor Racks:
These 50,000 crown pieces of furniture look at first like coat racks. However, when one is right-clicked in design mode, a GUI opens up with an armor or helm slot. Items in guild storage, the treasury, or the player's inventory can be dragged into these slots to equip the rack with the appropriate armor.
Player Statues:
These statues come in 2 different sizes: small and large. They are initially giant gun puppy statues, like Monomi in the Haven garden. The small statue costs 250,000 crowns and is player size, the large one costs 1,000,000 crowns and is 3x3 tiles. However, when selected in Design Mode by a guild master, they have the option to choose a player in the guild that the statue will look like. This player is sent a mail, and has to choose an armor, a helm, a shield, and a sword (last 2 optional) that they possess, as well as a short string of text that will appear when the statue is inspected by a player. Once this is done, 100,000 crowns are taken from the guild treasury, and the statue takes on the armor that the player selected.
Player Statues:
copy actual wearin armor , slap stone texture on it , make overprice , chose a pose from a selection of pre set pose that you have to pay to see the first time like the floors and statues going blidly for the first guilds with too mutch money to spare who took all the battlestand to new guilds.
-BRILLIANT .. I WANT +43
Bazaar Room:
- TOKENS ... I WANT TOKENS IN MY GH +10
Mist Generator:
-ALL MY WANT if a player give 500 .. it automaticaly stop and time charge should be slower than a knight .. not faster .. or leecher kids will spend all day next to it ... i saw 2 guild bein destroyed by kids getting it , emptying the storange and mistwell i crafting then leaving (kid been perma ban tho)
Hall of Heroes Room:
=_= , no .. get out of the guild and walk 12 steps on the right
Better Rooms:
i would relaunch your idea by "THEMED GUILD HALL" , for 500k ~ 1m , change your guildhall to a themed clockwork area such as "jelly castle , deconstuction , concrete jungle , drugery store ect... , with any skybox/particle going with it such as snow / fire / poison / scarlet fortress / jelly field / treasure vault ect.... wich would make every guild have thier own elevental and structual theme making them unique .. and if a guild have a very high amount of spare cr .. they can just change the themes at ever events such as winterfest and haloween and ... +1
Monster Cages:
would work for 1x1 monster statues or just the monster tubes used in hall of heroes
Boss Trophies:
ALL MY WANT FOR SEERUS THRONE +1
More Furniture:
