The fang of vog seems so worthless compared to the brandish line weapons and the Lion Heart Honor Blade. i was comparing my FOV lv8 with my Lion Heart Honor Blade lv2, and i noticed that the LHHB was alot more fast than my FOV, and does more damage...And the charge attack of course did more damage and more importantly isnt suicidal. I feel like the FOV is underpowered and somthing about the weapon needs to change, whether its the chance of getting caught on fire or the speed, it needs to be more OP. Anyone else agree!?

If you use it as you're supposed to (as an elemental weapon) its impossible it does less damage than a Lionheart.
Now if you were smacking a wolver or a gremlin........

even as an elemental weapon,

even as an elemental weapon, its worthless. my glacius is both more fast and damaging...and unlike the fov, the charge attack is very useful and doesnt kill me. the fov needs to be buffed...if the weapons speed was increased that would be good enough for me.

I don't know what you're trying to achieve buffing FoV. The charge already instantly kills enemies, including guardians in ancient plate.

Vog Nuke

The Fang of Vog is essentially a nuke. Charge it up and release for instant death, hopefully not yours. In that respect, it's probably stronger than its counterpart, the Combuster. But its swing is slow.

Stronger swings: 1 point => Combuster
Stronger charge: 1 point => Fang of Vog

But as the Combuster's charge is still pretty awesome, the only reason you would use the Fang of Vog is because it's free.

FoV charge: OHKO's enemies and has chance to set fire to yourself

Blitz charge: OHKO's enemies without chance to kill yourself by accident

Problem?

@Klipik Also, FoV has 360

@Klipik Also, FoV has 360 degree charge so it leaves you less vulnerable to followup attack from other enemies. I kinda liked using my FoV in lockdown, just to get rid of those tanks *cough*ancientdragon*cough* from charging in and gf comboing me.

FoV has about a .5 block and a 1 block extra hit range on the 2nd and 3rd hits of the combo respectively, the Devs have balanced the slower swing speed, du- nvm.

As I have said previously in another thread somewhere in the forums, You guys clearly don't use your FoV for the normal combo ._.

If you don't trust me, well, you lose?

Well now I found my post where I finalized the stuff I found in about 10-30 minutes, and yeah, like 1/2 block on the 2nd hit, somewhere around 3/4 block on the 3rd hit (for all intents and purposes, let's assume 1 block because 3/4 doesn't really make too much sense). Somewhere up in that thread I detailed my instructions for doing the 3rd hit test in the Advanced Training Hall.
