Since battle sprites were announced I have been thinking of what different types would be released: gunner sprites, sworder sprites etc. And if they haven't already come up with one of these i think it would be a good idea for cargo sprites. cargo sprites would at the first 3 star version (assuming the sprites are going to be star based) be able to carry one extra weapon the
3 star version could carry a single 3 star item OR an extra set of 3 capsules,
the 4 star version could hold 2 3 star items OR 1 4 star item OR 2 sets of 3 capsules.
the 5 star version could hold 1 4 star item with a set of 3 vials/capsules OR 2 4 star items OR 1 5 star item.
This sprite would be heavily elemental based with light defense against shadow and normal.
To balance out the ability to have free extra weapons this sprite would be very slow, and you would have to interact with the sprite and TRADE one of your current items with it, to stop accidentally interacting with it mid battle this function could be locked with the usual interface locking key, U.
This sprite can also attack as well but not as well as other types of sprites, on a 5 second interval it shoots out 4 balls of fire akin to what tier 3 greavers do with a small chance of fire on each ball.
Also only the stuff you start with gets heated none of the stuff you put in the sprite at start gets heated.
In my opinion this would be good for a lot of places because for example you and your team are doing a vana run, in the first part you want a lot of fire resist and a good elemental weapon, you do that part and enter the arena, you swap out your gun and get out a shiver or another assorted bomb.
Please give me your opinions if its good or bad i don't mind if you don't like it, just an idea.

Players who are new to a concept shouldn't be coming up with ideas for said concept.
Replying to your idea of carrying weapons, with a fully upgraded Battle Sprite a player already has 7 weapon attacks. With your idea, this would be expanded to 10: that amount of weapons is rediculous, unwieldy, useless and absolutely overwhelming to even the most experienced Spiral Knights players. Not to mention the fact that it would make Normal Damage weapons infinitely times less useful than they are now.
