Hello everyone :)

This is just a small suggestion for those, who want use a gamepad instead of mouse and keyboard.

It's about the "Face(direction) keybinding". Normally it's set to the arrow keys of your keyboard. When you press them, the current position of your mouse cursor is ignored, the character faces AND! moves into the target direction.
When I set these bindings to my gamepad, the current mouse curser position is still ignored, but the character is ONLY! facing into the target direction without moving (so you have to use another keybinding for moving)

As a note: Every other move keybinding requires the current mouse curser position, so "face to" keybindings are the best option for gamepad, so it would be cool you can add the moving also (like it is with arrow keys)

Greetings :)

You can already bind facing and moving. Look again.

ok, I think he/she needs specifics...

If a wired 360 controller (I use) then...

Movement Left Stick

Move North: #? Y Axis- (Left Stick Up)
Move South: #? Y Axis+ (Left Stick Down)
Move West: #? X Axis- (Left Stick Left)
Move East: #? X Axis+ (Left Stick Right)

Note: If you play LoZ use the same Stick for Facing. Repeat the same input but find Face instead of Move.

Facing Right Stick (for Geometry Wars 1+2 and other retro shooter games)

Face North: #? Y Rotation- (Right Stick Up)
Face South: #? Y Rotation+ (Right Stick Down)
Face West: #? X Rotation- (Right Stick Left)
Face East: #? X Rotation+ (Right Stick Right)

Attacking/defending: Triggers or bumpers your call

Action (attack): #? Z Axis- or #? button 5 (RT or RB)
Defend: #? Z Axis+ or #? Button 4 (LT or LB)

For Changing Weapons do the one that you do not use

Prev Weapon: #? Z Axis+ or #? Button 4 (LT or LB)
Next Weapon: #? Z Axis- or #? Button 5 (RT or RB)

Quick slots

Quickslot1: #? POV Y- (D-pad Up)
Quickslot2: #? POV X+ (D-pad Down)
Quickslot3: #? POV Y+ (D-pad Left)
Quickslot4: #? POV X- (D-pad Right)

Setting it up....

1. Plug in the Controller WITHOUT Spiral Knights (SK) running (or else it will not work)

2. Start SK

3. Hit Esc (show up Main Options)

4. Click on Controls

5. Click on Every Command listed that I show here, use the Controller to map it.

6. When everything is said and done, you can now play SK with the Controller.

EDIT: forgot a few things, now fixed.
