GMs seem to be a bit late on this one.

So what do you guys think? I'm personally raring to fight the Tortodoze - a new Tier 3 boss at long last! I hear it's pretty tough too, so this ought to be a good challenge. Royal Jelly's Sleep resist should also finally see some use out of this. That Blanket's lookin' pretty smooth, too. Would kinda stink to get struck by the surprise permadeath box, though. Lucky or unlucky to get one? I hope I don't get to find out.

UI's lookin' pretty smooth too! Not quite what I had imagined, but hey, it works. There's confirmed to be a bug where some Knights are stuck with the old one though, but it's been acknowledged by the devs and they are working on a fix as we speak.

Oh, and has anybody found Plewie yet?

But in total seriousness, I think it's an okay idea, we certainly needed a new F2P actual Clockworks boss, and I agree with OP, jelly armor will now serve full potential!

If this update is rubbish there's clearly a bad choice of strategy from OOO to regain some players' trust and support. Something keeps telling me that this can't be a fake update though, they're not that cheap on april fools

As all of the Spiral Knights is anxiously awaiting big updates to this game and the developers have the audacity to post a false patch that players go out of there way to enjoy new content in a game they love and it turns out to be a lie. For that "Exelius makes a rude gesture."

I pledge to no longer make a money purchase on this game just because of today's blatant disrespect to the spiral knights community. For that "Exelius makes a rude gesture at Three Rings."

Unless you have some good excuse or way to compensate all the energy wasted on your out right lie you lost my respect and trust.

On another random note I have been very excited and carefully watching forums and spiral knights activity for any sort of new stuff and in the forums I see tons of disrespect towards Three Rings when they show the upcoming new UI and other things such as that and I was appalled at it but now I hope you get more hate than even that I bid you farwell for the day Three Rings. I expect an apology, good reason, or compensation by tomorow or you just lost a customer. "Exelius makes a rude gesture."

Okay, so I'm basically killing my own spiel here, but it's just an April Fools thing. Three Rings aren't the only ones to do this sort of thing, and whilst there are people who strongly disagree with it, it has been globally recognized as a day for pranks. This one is innocent and meant in good fun, not a mean-spirited, disrespectful act to kick players in the teeth.

Yes, it has been a while since we last got a content update.
Yes, we are waiting in eager anticipation of the next one.

But they wouldn't put this up to torment us. The notes contain humorous remarks and are quite clearly not meant to be taken seriously. They aren't being disrespectful, they are celebrating April 1st the same way others do. Doing something for laughs.
I only request that you try not to take it so seriously and bring up unpleasant arguments.

um... what? Even those who are entirely unfamiliar with the "April Fools Day" Concept should notice the sillyness of those fake patch-update notes. The absence of a posting from Nick in the announcements thread AND another GM in the General Discussion thread only adds to the validation of said patch update notes being fake.

So you're willing to quit playing Spiral Knights on the premise that you fell for a little prank? I'd call that bluff.

Content is still being worked on, regardless of whether this prank was pulled or not. Rest assured, your money is being put into developing the game - writing up an April Fools post with "fake patch notes" doesn't exactly take a lot of resources to make.
