Please create a que for lockdown like Tier 3+, 2 +, etc. Maybe if you used an Elo ranking system that resets at the start of every other week this could be possible. This will promote healthy gameplay, and maybe a greater Cr sink if you charge 500cr per que.

Thing is there may not be enough players at a given time to do a smart sort based on ranking. More so outside of T3.

Agreed with Juances. Ranked LD is almost a necessity to keep "pro" players entertained and to protect new players from getting stomped, but because of the small LD playerbase you'd either have long wait times or the same matches you end up with today. This would be amplified even further by your system of giving players the choice to play ranked or unranked.
There was also a thread about this last week or so. I suggest you read it.
This one too I guess, but it's more LD overall than ranked specifically.
