What about create several gears inspired to those worn by the spiral order knights (such as Desna, etc..)? ..and obviously make them obtainable by normal SK?

Well not exactly: Desna wears a modified Emberbreak Helm (without plumes) and the Guardian armor. That kind of helm is not available neither the awesome Guardian Armor.
I think also that some Biscotti's gear would be really nice..
Vaelyn wears another armor that resemble an Azure Guardian Armor, but it's slightly different, and I think that also those Darker Cobalt Helms should be made available (maybe the whole dark cobalt/might/azure suit).
And finally, obviously, Arkus' helm... We have trojan disguise, but it's only a replica of the rock head of a trojan (and it expires), the helm is instead really wonderful.
...Obviously I'm thinking about these gears as costumes, not as actual gears with their own stats.

Is this "Relictabard" her sword? I've never heard of that.. However I was talking about their armors, because even if their weaponry is awesome, it's too complicated to create a set of new weapons or shield, at least I think so.. Some sets of costumes instead can be put in the game easily without consequences in playing...

So the guardian mod is that huge piece right below desna's neck.. Ok so.. We don't have yet that costume, right? I mean the Recon Ranger Relictabard.. Or the Guardian Armor.. Right? (except in lockdown) (..sorry for misunderstanding.. I'm Italian and my english is really bad..)

No, the Rivet gauntlets, the scarf that extends to a loincloth, Chest armor and the Beltpack are the same, and to a lesser extent, the material and general shape used for the pants (although they're not the same model)
Desna just has a few extra things tacked on (check out that spiky punk bracelet)
They're Hybrid models, and for some reason they look really cool. Another example of a Hybrid armor is the Almirian Crusader armor, which is constructed from Plate Mail stripped of most of the outer Plates with shoulder armor and fur attached, the Heavenly Iron Armor which is Valkyrie with Magic Hood attachments. Scale Mail is another good example: The wrist plates are reskinned from the Plate Mail (because Plate Mail is the coolest armor of all, no?) and the leg armor is unique. Draped Armor isn't necessarily a Hybrid, it's just a really well done reskin of Scale Mail. Skelly is a less known hybrid that utilizes the Culet boots (but nobody cares since Culet boots look wierd)
Moral of the story? Developers can mix and mash (a.k.a recycle) old sections of armor we already have, and it looks even cooler than before.

All knights just have recolored, normal, already available gear. Desna's helm is a broken ponytail.
